Viagra's heart pounded heavily as she had heard an unusual yet familiar voice. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, but it was the truth nonetheless. The voice ca from her forr superior, the strongest deity within the Revolting Tide, the Dragon of Destruction, Laplace.
"L-Lady L-Laplace... I didn't think that we would et once again." The words that escaped her supple lips were filled with anxiousness and dread. Her fate after the interrogation was clear. Just like the Inquisition, the United World Governnt might disposed of her.
"Aren't you the lone survivor of the collapsed village, devastated by the Inquisitors of the Colonial Dominions. The one wielding psychic magicraft, the last Priestess of Psycho. You have grown a lot from the last mont I saw you. Though, you have beco a disappointnt."
Laplace's words was calm, yet it was laced with venom. She was amongst the ones that voted for the last priestess to be left alive. Despite her dangerous magic that could influence the mind, the dragoness thought that the young one would use it for good.
"Here I thought that you wouldn't follow the path of your ancestors and tribesn. After all, you should have seen the conclusion of it. Destruction, death, and suffering. Was it destiny for your tribe to be destroyed? Your existence erased from the annals of history?"
Viagra's senses returned along with her vision. Looking forward, she saw a beautiful lady with silver hair and golden irises. Dark horns protruded from her head while a black dragon tail laid behind her. The lady was none other than the Dragon of Liberation, Laplace.
The priestess couldn't believe what she was seeing. Laplace had grown to beco much more gorgeous than ever before. She had also beco stronger, despite already being the strongest within the Revolting Tide.
Hearing the words of the dragoness, the priestess slightly bit her lips, unable to utter a single response. Even though the words of Laplace were shrouded with a tinge of venom, there was no anger or hate. rely the disappointnt of soone who had expectations towards the priestess.
"Do you rember why you were brought into the Revolting Tide? It was for you to learn that the freedom of others shouldn't be taken control by one's will. Was it too difficu-"
"Lady Laplace... You don't have any idea about what your talking about. Revolting Tide standing for liberation? I couldn't rember a mont when the organization stood for your ideals. You don't have any idea about how we grunts have it. Even before you left us all behind."
Viagra glared at the dragoness, uncaring about what may happened to her for such disrespect towards the Dragon of Liberation. The ideals of the Revolting Tide had long since died, even before the priestess had joined it.
The so-called Dragon of Destruction remained ignorant, no, she let herself be ignorant of the true inner workings within the Revolting Tide. It was only when she noticed the three deities rebelling that the dragoness perceived the rotting tree that was the Revolting Tide.
"You can't spout such things to us, Lady Laplace. What do you an by liberation? Weren't we simply working for the ancient kingdoms, so that their territories wouldn't be conquered by the Colonial Dominions of Humanity."
"How dare you talk about freedom. Haven't you seen what happened to those you liberated from the Colonial Dominions? Have you seen what the ancient kingdoms have done to them? No, you didn't! Because you were ignorant."
"I learned everything from you, Lady Laplace. It was the fact that power was the most important. With power, you would be able to do anything you want without consequences. You-" Viagra wanted to continue, but couldn't.
"Continue, Viagra..." Laplace uttered, her words echoing in the room. Viagra continued to be strapped on a chair, unmoving as she spoke words that might be her last. "You are nothing more but an arrogant dragon. Soone who wants to pretend to be a hero."
The priestess closed her eyelids, expecting the scythe of death to behead her. Instead, she found herself hearing an applause resounding behind her. Her eyebrows closed, wondering who may be behind her.
"She got you there, my Love. This is the first ti I saw soone who's thoroughly disappointed at you." A light chuckled followed while the dragoness rely gave a scary smile towards the man who had insulted her. "You sound like you want to die, my Love."
"I prefer to be alive, Laplace. Besides, it's not like she was lying." A middle-aged man erged beside Viagra. He was a handso human, which was strange. She was never a type of beastfolk to be affected by the beauty of a human.
"At any rate, you must be Viagra, huh? The one that caused trouble within the City of Dawn. I heard that you made Special Response Division betray the United World Governnt. They were an organization that my wife built from the ground up. They assisted in the creation of the UWG."
"To think that they would betray the nation they stand for, betray ." Abraham kept smiling at the priestess, who rely gazed at him and sighed. "You might found yourself disappointed, but my magic doesn't do much other than elevate what was already there."
"You should be the Authority of the United World Governnt. The one above the Pri Minister, the one above everything in this country." Viagra guessed the identity of the middle-aged man before her.
"I didn't expect you to be a good guesser." Abraham smirked at the priestess and continued. "Enhancing what was already there... Are you stating that the Special Response Division had already been traitorous from the start?"
"I am not... What I an is that their loyalty towards you and your country is losing its spark. For soone's loyalty to fade, they must be given doubts about their resolve." Viagra clarified towards the Authority of the United World Governnt.
"Are you suggesting that soone is in this conspiracy with you? Why should I believe it to be the truth? Aren't you rely the one planting doubts in my mind through your words?" Abraham gave the following questions, to which Viagra answered with confidence.
"No one is a conspiring with . And there is no need for you to believe . I am simply speaking of the truth."
"Why are you speaking the truth, Viagra? Aren't you part of the higher-echelon within the Revolting Tide? Is your loyalty only worth so much?" Abraham inquired the priestess with calm. Laplace rely observed her husband doing the job for her.
"Because, I made the choice to do so. Please don't mistake abiding their orders for loyalty. I have never been loyal to the Revolting Tide or anyone since my tribe was massacred by the Inquisition. I had no loyalty to begin with."
"And, Sir Authority, I'm sure that you were already skeptical with your allies, am I right?" Viagra continued, understanding from Abraham's behavior that he was already suspicious towards his allies before he had even t her.
"Wow, you might as well be reading my mind. How impressive." Abraham continued smiling, not giving a reaction to the priestess's query. "Alright, since you have answered most of my question without hesitation or resistance. I'll move forward to the main part of our eting."
"Before that, I'd like to ask one question to Lady Laplace." Viagra turned her gaze towards the dragoness and felt that her ti was nearing its end. "Why did you abandoned all of us?"
"Even if the Revolting Tide was rotten to the core, they were many who believed in you. Beastfolks who actually thought that they were fighting for the liberation of all. The Dragon of Destruction was an arrogant creature who wouldn't give up. But why did you give up?"

"I wasn't loyal to anyone. But there were many who were loyal to you. All of them t unpleasant deaths because they couldn't accept the words of three deities, so why?" It was a simple yet difficult question.
Abraham was prepared to answer on his wife's behalf. After all, while Viagra wasn't wrong, he was Laplace's husband. He was ready to defend her even if she was at fault.
However, before the middle-aged man could do so, he felt his wife's pale hand over his shoulders as she moved forward. "I just made a choice after realizing how powerless and ignorant I was. I abandoned everything from my forr life. That is the truth."
"As you have said before, I am an arrogant and selfish dragon. It isn't entirely incorrect, there are so truths about it. Are you disappointed?" Laplace asked the priestess as her hand lay beside the girl's cheeks. Viagra gazed at her and replied "Disappointed, how could I be?"
"I can't fault soone else for being selfish. After all, I am a selfish person myself. In actuality, I'm rely glad that you didn't abandon us because you were afraid of the three." Viagra smirked at the dragoness, relieved that the forr leader of the Revolting Tide hadn't beco a coward after their defeat.
"Anyhow, you want to dispel the psychic influence, right? I have already disbanded it, after all, I know the effects of psychic spells after their caster dies." The priestess continued and declared that she had already dispel her influence over the population.
"So, you're dying, huh?" Laplace narrowed her gaze, noticing that the body of the priestess was beginning to disintegrate. Viagra smiled at the dragoness and remarked. "The three deities have shackled the Revolting Tide with the mark of loyalty. Anyone or anything that betrays them will be disintegrated into nothingness."
"I don't regret anyth-"
"A remote-disintegration spell... It shouldn't be troubleso to destroy." With a flick of Laplace's fingers, the disintegrating body of the priestess returned to normal. "Unfortunately for you, my dear. You will have to serve your sentence. Death is way too easy."
Hearing the dragoness, Viagra simply chuckled, unable to believe what she had gone through in re monts.
"As expected of Lady Laplace."
