When Yu Baoyin wanted to peek, she only realized that there were two mirrors on each side of the chimney stack.
"Where did these things co from?" She mumbled..
Nanzhi uttered without blinking, "I saw them floating around."
"Eh…"
The noise continued and Yu Baoyin beca more curious.
However before she can move her head, Nanzhi pinched the back of her collar.
"There is a sniper." Nanzhi warned and showed her a crushed bullet shell. It was from her rifle though but Nanzhi used it, so she won't waste ti explaining.
"W-what? A sniper?" Yu Baoyin's face beca pale when she saw the bullet.
Of course, she knows what a sniper is!
There were also people with guns inside the building.
No wonder Sister Nan had been hiding in the back of the chimney!
Yu Baoyin also pressed herself closer to the point she wanted to ld with the bricks.
Seeing Yu Baoyin wasn't going to peek anymore, Nanzhi slightly tilted the mirror down on her right.
She didn't hear the sound of bullets, the sniper must have left his position or occupied with sothing.
Although it was fuzzy, Nanzhi could see a boat getting closer to the tourist hotel and there were many people boarding it.
The boat docked in front of the hotel and the people on it climbed to the open terrace.
But before all the people in the floating platform could take refuge in the hotel, it was overturned and Nanzhi saw a huge bighead carp swallowed a person.
There was another one bighead carp. Nanzhi made a ntal note.
The people flailed in the water and tried to swim towards the hotel. With such large water movents, those fishes will be attracted!

Nanzhi picked up her backpack, stood up and said, "Let's get out of here."
"But you said there's a sniper…" Yu Baoyin swallowed her saliva, nervous.
"Just follow ." Nanzhi slid to the edge of the roof and crouched as low as she could before crawling.
"Then how about the fish?" Yu Baoyin was still worried.
"If it cos then we'll have roasted fish later." Nanzhi threw a casual remark.
Under the sun rays, the bolo machete strapped on her back was shining. Nanzhi grabbed it and hid it under her body.
"Pfft." Yu Baoyin found it very funny. She stifled a laugh. It lightened her worries.
She was afraid of being alone. "Wait for Sister Nan." She whispered and imitated Nanzhi, sticking closer to her.
When Nanzhi reached the end, she made sure there was no threat nearby before diving in the water and resurfacing on the next roof.
The sniper in the tourist building didn't notice them moving at all because his attention was on the newcors.
Fortunately, none of the alien beast ca to them.
Although wet, they managed to arrive safely at the chimney stack of the farthest stable facing the back of the tourist hotel.
The trip reduced their distance from the tourist hotel by almost half.
But the downside was, Nanzhi couldn't see what's going on anymore and can only hear the screams.
Yu Baoyin also heard them and she wondered what was going on there.
If she took an inflatable boat from here, she can reach the tourist hotel by an estimate of ten to fifteen minutes.
While the alien beasts were still preoccupied, she better take advantage of it.
Using the bag as a cover, Nanzhi took out an inflatable boat and started filling the boat with air.
Looking at the boat that was beginning to take shape, Yu Baoyin exclaid, "Are you a doraemon?"
Two minutes later, one small boat could be seen sailing to the back of the hotel.
Nanzhi gazed at the direction of the resource point. If she have still remaining ti after accomplishing her mission and killing the alien beasts, she will co for it.
Yu Baoyin helped in boat paddling. Because her wounds was still fresh, Nanzhi didn't push her too hard and told her to inform her if she spots anything as usual.
Nine minutes of sailing on the water felt like eternity. It worsen with the screams playing in the background.
Yu Baoyin felt her heart stuck on her throat the entire ti. Lots of grueso and bloody images entered her mind.
When the silence returned, Nanzhi remained calm and alert.
She rowed her fastest to reach the ergency staircase at the back. It's a good thing that there was no lookout there making it very convenient.
The mont they reach the staircase, Nanzhi urged Yu Baoyin to climb first.
Nanzhi quickly followed afterward.
"Sister Nan!"
When they were six ters above the water, Yu Baoyin noticed a black shadow heading to where they were.
Nanzhi tied the boat to a rope as she didn't have ti to deflate it.
Before they entered the ergency exit, Nanzhi and Baoyin saw a black shadow circling around the inflatable boat. It stayed for five whole seconds before it swam away.
Nanzhi took the chance to lift the boat using the rope and deflated it. If she left it here, people would know there are outsiders.
Entering the ergency exit, Yu Baoyin's expression wasn't good. She rubbed both her arms and spoke in a hushed voice.
"I thought we would be fish food for good! Although I never raised a fish before, but isn't it illogical for the fish to grew that large--"
Tap…tap…tap…
Nanzhi heard the sounds of footsteps. She covered Yu Baoyin's mouth and carried her to hide under the stairs.
"Darling, don't get angry anymore. I'll think of a way to get us out of here."
"How are you exactly planning to escape this place? Have you seen that it's a sea out there and there is a monster trying to eat us? You're just telling a lie."
"No. Baoyin's father is an official and he dotes on her. He will surely co here or send soone to rescue his daughter and when that ti cos, I'll talk to Uncle."
"You're still calling your ex-girlfriend's father, Uncle? It looks like you still have feelings for her."
"I'm sorry Darling. I was used to calling him Uncle that it beca a habit. I'll be mindful next ti..."
There was woman's giggle afterwards.
Yu Baoyin was stunned.
She couldn't mistake those voices!
It's her scum boyfriend and that old witch who seduced her boyfriend behind her back!
Nanzhi's eyes widened. That female voice is very familiar. It's Yan Lanxi!
