Nanzhi glanced at her personal interface.

[Player Na: Lu Nanzhi]

After upgrading to Tier 4, she began testing her skills.

Her ntal power had grown denser, transforming from a smoke-like substance to a more solid, jelly-like state. Nanzhi experinted with it. Her control of the objects and weapons beca more efficient because of the stronger grip. The speed and attack power of the projectiles improved.

She then tried molding a glass out of her tal power and then filling it with water. The glass held the water, but the structure was unstable, causing the liquid inside to shift and swirl unpredictably.

She tried a different shape—a sphere—but the water inside continued to move erratically. Thinking of spinning water blades the parasitic vine frog made, she let the edges of the ntal sphere rotate like a wheel, and the water inside began spinning as well.

After a few seconds, she released it. The spinning water ball shot forward, struck the wall, and exploded into a fine mist. She repeated the test several tis before moving on to ntal exploration.

With her ntal power now more solid, the feedback speed of her ntal exploration skill had improved. The effects and damage of her pure offensive skills had increased, while their energy costs decreased.

Even after an hour had passed, Weihao still sat in the sa spot where she had disappeared, patiently waiting.

The mont she stepped out of the Ga Lobby, Weihao felt the air around her ripple, an unexplainable pressure pressing down as she approached. He imdiately realized she had successfully advanced to Tier 4.

It had only been an hour since she vanished. In the past, it had taken him three hours to reach Tier 4 because most of that ti was spent subduing and refining the energy. Still, he was not surprised.

If he had known she accomplished it in less than half an hour, spend the rest of the ti testing her ntal power, and there's a ti difference between the space she disappeared to and the real world, he would have been truly more stunned.

The weight pressing on his mind lifted. "How was it?" he asked.

"Not bad," Nanzhi replied, describing the changes in her ntal power.

Weihao smiled, relieved, but his concern for her health remained. "Do you feel anything strange in your body?"

Nanzhi shook her head. Far from feeling anything unusual, she was brimming with energy.

Only then did Weihao relax. Thank goodness.

Still full of energy, Nanzhi laid out tarpaulins inside the Ga Lobby and brought out the corpse of the Tier 4 Parasitic Vine Frog.

Sales from the vending machine had steadily increased. With the jades she had earned over the past few weeks, she had expanded her space to one thousand square ters and increased the ti ratio. Once the guild function opened, she could assign each person a separate room, ensuring privacy for everyone.

Although the giant frog had been abused beyond recognition, several parts were still salvageable. An ordinary knife couldn't cut through its hide, so she coated her bolo with ntal energy, sharpening it enough to slice through.

The skin under its chin, on its underbelly, and across its limbs remained intact. This can be made into a lightweight protective armor. As she skinned it, she noticed a different texture beneath the surface. The blade erged coated in green mucus, a few drops landing on her palm. Even with her mask and white-flower ointnt, the stench lingered—foul, like the pools she had encountered, but less intense than the decay in those waters.

She widened her cut and found small, green, round sacs scattered under the epidermis. Using her appraisal skill, she confird they were mucus glands, which kept the frog's skin moist and assisted in respiration. She stored them in an empty drum for potential future use.

Beyond the glands, she extracted the acid gland, bones, tendons, tongue, and at. The acid glands could be useful against more formidable alien beasts in the future, as she had been fortunate earlier that terrain gave her an advantage. The bones could be reforged into weapons or used to reinforce structures. The tendons were as strong as Little Snowball's threads, while the tongue could be processed into a durable whip. The at of a Tier 4 alien beast provided a significant power boost. With the system's safety check, it could be sold to survivors at the Military or Longn Base. For her own group, whose strength had already been improved by Bingdi Lotus Tea, the at offered little benefit, but it still held value for trade. She kept the innards and leftovers as bait.

Processing the enormous frog took considerable ti, but the Ga Lobby operated on a different tiscale from the outside world. Under her face mask, Nanzhi humd softly while working. "Money, money, money…"

After dismantling the frog, she entered the Misty Land Dungeon, planning a quick bath.

The mont she stepped inside, the bees in the small garden beca restless, scattering, so even flying toward the protective barrier. At first, Nanzhi suspected the other animals were attacking them, but she quickly dismissed the thought—the animals were minding their own business.

As she moved through the garden, the bees grew increasingly agitated. Even those inside the honeycomb erged, heading straight for the barrier.

"What's going on?"

It was the first ti the bees had behaved this way. Could it be because of her? Nanzhi pondered as she removed her protective suit, temporarily storing the frog-slid suit in her inventory.

As expected, the bees ceased their frantic attacks on the barrier and gradually returned to the honeycomb.

Nanzhi didn't bathe imdiately. Curiosity got the better of her. She brought out each of the extracted frog parts one by one. The bees reacted most strongly to the drum containing the mucus glands, scattering as if chased by predators.

She thought deeply before returning the glands to her inventory.
