Listening to Mu Xichen's explanation, Yao Ran lowered her gaze and thought. 'Is leaving this planet really the only option?'

Sensing her worries, Long Yu reached out and held Yao Ran's hand under the table and whispered, "Don't worry. We will find the best way to save everyone."

Yao Ran had never seen herself as a savior, so she didn't particularly care about saving the entire world.

As long as she could protect her friends, family, and Long Yu, that was enough for her. If she could save others along the way, she would—but not at the expense of her own people.

However, the thought of abandoning the planet and living in a space station filled her with unease.

In return, she squeezed Long Yu's hand and voiced her concern, "A Yu, I don't think we should leave this planet. If we truly move to a space station, our future will be extrely limited. And what if sothing malfunctions one day? Won't we all perish out there?"

Sensing her growing anxiety, Long Yu gently patted her hand and reassured her, "You are right, but this is the best plan we have for now. I will discuss it with A Xuan and the others to see if there is another way. If there is even the slightest chance to survive on this planet, we won't leave."

Yao Ran's emotions gradually settled after hearing his words. She nodded and said, "Alright."

While the two spoke in hushed tones, Xu Ruihan chid in, "Younger Sister Ran Ran, don't stress over this too much. You should go check on Grandpa Yao and leave the rest to us."

Since she didn't have the expertise to build a spaceship or a space station—and she had no better ideas at the mont—Yao Ran agreed.

Yao Ran stood up and said, "Then I will go visit my grandfather first."

When Long Yu also rose to his feet, she stopped him. "A Yu, I want to go alone."

Long Yu studied her expression for a mont before nodding. "Alright."

Yao Ran smiled at him, then nodded to the others and left the eting room.

While Long Yu and the others continued their discussion, Yao Ran went to the hospital. When she arrived, she asked a nurse for her grandfather's room number.

Opening the door, Yao Ran stepped into the spacious hospital room. As she approached the bed, her gaze fell upon her grandfather's thin body, reduced to nothing but skin and bones.

Looking at her grandfather's current condition, her eyes turned red. After taking a deep breath, Yao Ran pulled a chair beside the bed and sat down.

She looked at Yao Zi'ao for a long ti, held his hand, and whispered, "Grandfather, Xiao Ran ca to see you. I'm sorry it took so long to co. You won't bla , right?"

Staring at her grandfather, Yao Ran fell into silence.

She glanced around the room and thought, 'The lake is gone, but I stored a lot of lake water in my warehouse before for convenience. I should try feeding it to Grandfather and see if it helps heal him."

After thinking for a mont, her gaze shifted to the surveillance caras installed in the hospital ward. 'But before that, I need to make sure no one finds out that my lake water has healing properties.'

With that in mind, Yao Ran stood up and subtly positioned herself to block the caras' view. She then took out a bottle of lake water from her space, poured so into an empty glass on the bedside table, and quickly returned the rest to her space.

Using a spoon, she carefully fed the lake water to her grandfather. Seeing that he was able to swallow it, she let out a sigh of relief and continued feeding him until he had consud half a glass.

Once she was done, Yao Ran set the empty glass down, wiped the water from the corner of Yao Zi'ao's lips, and whispered, "Grandfather, I will visit you again tomorrow."

She held his frail hand, kissed it gently, and tucked the blanket around him. After ensuring he was warm and comfortable, she left the hospital ward and returned to her villa.

Upon arriving ho, she took a bath and then lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling in deep thought.

'Now that the lake is gone and my space's level has dropped, can I still farm and raise animals inside? I should check it while I have free ti.'

Making up her mind, Yao Ran flashed into her space. Appearing in the farmland, she squatted down and grabbed a handful of black soil.

After inspecting it for a while, she muttered, "It seems that the black soil still has the sa function as before. Gao Shuwei only took away half of the Lingyuan Jade Pendant, and what he didn't take away should be the farmland and grassland?"

Standing up, she teleported to the fishpond. Because the pond had shrunk in size, the fish were now cramped, struggling to move.

Seeing this, Yao Ran took half of them, placed them in ice boxes, and stored them in her warehouse. Once she removed the excess fish, the remaining ones finally had enough space to swim freely and beco more energetic.

After handling the fish, she went to check on her orchard and livestock.

Unlike the fishpond, the grasslands where she raised animals and the orchards still had plenty of space remained. She checked everything, then fed the animals and harvested so fruit before leaving her space.

The mont she reappeared on her bed, she heard the sound of running water from the bathroom.

Pushing herself up from the bed, she called, "A Yu?"

Hearing her calling him, Long Yu turned off the water and slightly opened the bathroom door. He craned his neck out and said, "I'm taking a shower. Wait a mont."

Yao Ran smiled and replied, "No need to rush. I will make dinner. Co down when you are done."

"Alright." Long Yu answered and closed the door.
