Seeing that Yao Ran was considering his offer, the man added, "Please, just na your price."

"I want planes. Military aircraft, preferably," Yao Ran said calmly.

The mont she spoke, not only the man but also the old man and the others were stunned.

After a long silence, the man laughed awkwardly and said, "Young lady, please don't joke with . We are just ordinary survivors. Where can we get the military aircraft you want?"

Yao Ran tilted her head slightly at his words and replied, "I'm not joking."

Realizing she was serious, the man chuckled awkwardly before glancing at his grandfather. Seeing the old man's pale face, his heart sank.

He sighed inwardly before turning back to Yao Ran and asked, "Can you ask for sothing else?"

Yao Ran hadn't really expected him to provide military aircraft; she was just testing her luck. Seeing that he didn't have the ans to fulfill her request, she said, "Then there is nothing I want."

The man grew anxious when she said that and tried to persuade her. "Young Lady, ple–"

Yao Ran tossed the dicine bottle to him before he could speak more. "It's yours."

With that, she turned around and disappeared into the crowd.

Staring at the bottle of dicine in his hand, the young man scratched his head in confusion. He then placed the dicine in the old man's pocket and said, "Grandpa, let's go ho."

The old man touched the dicine in his pocket as he stared at the direction Yao Ran was going and thought, 'What a strange child.'

After leaving the area, Yao Ran noticed two n following her. She pretended not to notice them, but the corners of her lips curved up slightly. The fish had finally taken the bait.

Yao Ran road the area for a while before walking toward a nearby alley. Since the alley was a shortcut to the harbor, the two n didn't suspect anything.

Exchanging glances, they nodded at each other and followed her into the alley.

Waiting for them in the shadows, Yao Ran smirked and quietly directed her vines toward them.

As the vines slithered along the ground, the two n walked cautiously into the dark alley. As soon as they stepped into the shadows, Yao Ran's eyes flickered.

Swish~! Thud! Thud!

In the next second, the two n fell to the ground, tightly bound like dumplings.

"Mmph! Mmph!"

They struggled to free themselves and tried to shout, but the vines covered their mouths, muffling their voices.

Stepping out from the shadows, Yao Ran looked at them and recognized them as the n she had spared yesterday. Seeing them again, she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Well, well, what a surprise to see you two again. Since you two are so eager to die, I will gladly grant your wish," she said coldly.

Looking into her cold eyes, the two n shuddered as chills ran down their spines. When Yao Ran drew her long sword from its scabbard, they shook their heads desperately, tears streaming down their faces.

"Mmph! Mmph!"

Seeing their tear-streaked faces filled with fear, Yao Ran placed her sword against one man's neck and said, "I will let you speak. But if you scream, it will be the last sound you ever make. Do you understand?"

Feeling the cold tal against his neck, the man nodded frantically, his head bobbing like a chicken pecking at rice. "Mmph! Mmph!"

"Good." Satisfied with his reaction, Yao Ran waved her hand.

A second later, the vines around the two n's mouths slithered back. As soon as they could speak, the two n began to plead between sobs.

"Young Lady, please spare us! We are just ssengers!"

"Yes, yes! We only ca to deliver a ssage!"

Yao Ran lowered her sword and coldly ordered, "Speak."

As soon as she said that, the man on the left quickly said, "The Young Master wants to et you at the Mission Hall. He wants to know if you are available to see him today."

"What is his na, and why does he want to et ?" Yao Ran asked.

The n shook their heads, and then the one on the right answered, "We have never t him, so we don't know his na or what he looks like. As for why he wants to see you, we truly don't know."

Realizing they were only low-level lackeys and really knew nothing, Yao Ran retracted her vines and commanded coldly, "Lead the way."

"Yes, yes, right away!" As if they were granted amnesty, the two n scrambled to their feet and led Yao Ran to the Mission Hall.

Along the way, they kept glancing at her and whispering to each other.

"Brother, this woman is really ruthless. I can't believe soone actually wants her as his woman."

The other man shot him a glare and whispered, "Are you tired of living? How dare you comnt on the Young Master's affairs!"

Realizing his mistake, the first man quickly covered his mouth and whispered, "I'm sorry, Brother."

Walking behind them, Yao Ran heard every word clearly. Her hearing was sharper than most ability users, so no matter how softly they spoke, she could catch every word.

She absentmindedly rubbed the handle of her long sword, deep in thought as she followed the two n.

After walking for over forty minutes, they arrived at the Mission Hall.

Noticing that the main hall was less crowded than the day before, Yao Ran turned to the n and asked, "Where is he?"

Knowing she was asking about the Young Master, one of them pointed to the second floor and said, "The Young Master is waiting for you upstairs."

He hesitated for a mont before nervously asking, "Y–Young Lady, may we leave now?"

Too lazy to deal with them any longer, Yao Ran waved her hand dismissively as she stared at the second floor. "Get lost."

"Yes, yes! We are leaving right away!" Grateful for her rcy, they ran off without looking back.
