Natural Disaster: I Started By Hoarding Tens Of Billions Of Supplies Chapter 479 479: Tower F
Yao Ran glanced at the form in Long Yu's hand and asked curiously, "What is your grade?"
"Grade S. What about you?" Long Yu asked back.
Yao Ran showed him her result. "Grade A."
Noticing that her physical condition was slightly weaker than usual, Long Yu put away both check-up forms and said, "You need more training."
Yao Ran nodded. "Mhm."
Upon leaving Tower A, they t up with Shi Xuan and the others.
"Why were you guys so slow?" Huang Qian asked.
"There was a commotion while we were waiting for our ID cards and keys, and we got delayed," Yao Ran replied.
Commotion often happened when people gathered together, so Huang Qian didn't ask further.
They waited for a while until the buses arrived. Once everyone boarded, the driver started the journey to Tower F.
When they arrived, the driver opened the door and said, "We have arrived. Please watch your step as you exit."
Standing in front of Tower F, Yao Ran observed the towering structure. A mont later, she comnted, "It looked small from afar, but it's actually massive up close."
Long Yu smiled, took her hand, and said, "Let's go. We still need to clean the house before we can rest."
Noticing that it was already three in the afternoon, Yao Ran agreed. "Alright."
As their team approached the entrance, Yao Ran scanned her surroundings. The staff had ntioned that Tower F was newly built, so not many survivors lived there yet.
The weather was windy but clear, and so survivors sat at the entrance, basking in the sun or keeping themselves busy—hanging worn-out clothes to dry or taking out plants for photosynthesis.
During the day, most male survivors worked hard labor jobs to earn wages, while most won stayed behind or took on easier tasks.
So when Yao Ran and more than 500 of her team mbers entered Tower F, the survivors living there watched them with curiosity and interest.
Walking at the front, Xu Ruihan noticed the gazes directed at them and said to his assistant, "Keep an eye on these people. Also, arrange for the patrol teams to guard our houses."
"Yes, Sir."
Before settling in, they needed to report to the managent office of Tower F.
Xu Ruihan turned to Yao Ran and said, "Younger Sister Ran Ran, I will handle the move-in procedure. You guys can go and check the houses first."
Yao Ran was tired, so she didn't refuse Xu Ruihan's suggestion. "Alright. Thank you, Elder Brother Ruihan."
With that, Xu Ruihan, Mu Xichen, and their bodyguards headed to the managent office, while the others went directly to the top floor.
Each floor housed twenty thousand apartnts, so even after their group moved in, there were still plenty of empty units on the top floor.
While they were busy cleaning their apartnts, Xu Ruihan and Mu Xichen were in the managent office, speaking with a staff mber who handed them a piece of paper listing the water collection tis and the bus schedule.
"The residences must be kept clean, and trash should be placed in the assigned disposal areas," the staff mber explained.
"Since your team has rented a two-bedroom apartnt, you can collect water from the water office between seven in the morning and five in the afternoon. Each household is allocated one bucket of water per day."
"Fresh water is purified from seawater. It doesn't taste particularly good, but it's drinkable. It has been disinfected, so you don't have to worry about viruses or bacteria."
"There is a soil supply in the southeast corner of the back entrance. You are free to take so if you need it for planting. As for fertilizer, well... you will have to produce and use it yourself."
At the ntion of fertilizer, a flicker of discomfort crossed Xu Ruihan's and Mu Xichen's usually cold expressions.
As young masters from wealthy and influential families, neither of them knew much about agriculture, but they imdiately understood that the 'fertilizer' the staff mber referred to was human waste.
Unaware of their reaction, the staff continued, "Tower F was built to accommodate soldiers and their families. It's safer than other places, but it's still best to remain vigilant."
Noting that both Xu Ruihan and Mu Xichen were exceptionally handso and well-mannered, the staff mber hesitated for a mont before warning them, "Also, it's best to avoid the people living on the first floor."
She lowered her voice and added, "They are newly recruited soldiers, and all of them are ability users. You better not offend them right after moving in. Those who cause trouble will be thrown into the sea to feed the sea monsters."
Xu Ruihan's eyes darkened briefly at her warnings, but he remained calm as he nodded and said, "Understood."
After completing the registration, he and Mu Xichen left with their bodyguards.
Watching them leave, the staff mber fell into deep thought.
The colleague sitting beside her smirked and playfully asked, "Elder Sister, have you fallen in love at first sight?"
She shot him a glance before asking, "Have you heard of the Underworld Emperor?"
The younger staff mber blinked in confusion. After thinking about it, he chuckled and asked, "Is that another novel you are writing?"
The woman sighed and muttered in amazent, "For you to have survived this long... it's truly a miracle."
Seeing his continued confusion, she explained, "That man just now—he should be the Underworld Emperor, Xu Ruihan. I once accidentally saw him kill soone a few years ago. Even if I live a hundred years, I will never forget what I saw that night."
Hearing this, the younger staff mber's eyes widened. "Seriously? Should we report him to the supervisor?"
The woman shook her head. "Things aren't like they were before. Now, only those who are ruthless and strong enough can survive."
"Then what should we do?" he asked hesitantly.
After a mont of thought, she said, "Act like you know nothing. Just warn the others not to offend anyone from the top floor."
