With ti, and a starting point, tracking a car and depicting its trajectory is, for image investigation, like the travel problems in elentary school math—an essential and challenging topic.
It involves "eting and chasing," but so people are at elentary level, while others are at university level yet forget how to solve elentary problems. As for the real experts...
The real experts spend their ti reading the question thoroughly.
Jiang Yuan watched the footage for a long ti, noticing that Ni Cha and others had finished a al and were discussing whether to start new leads. Then Jiang Yuan’s keyboard began to clatter loudly.
Instantly, Ni Cha felt an exhilarating satisfaction.
Theoretically, he saw nothing and knew nothing, but at this mont, Ni Cha had an intuition that the case was about to be cracked.
Liu Jinghui glanced at Ni Cha discreetly, sensing that his behavior was unusual, thinking to himself that he should inform Huang Qiangmin later. To ordinary police officers, Jiang Yuan was almost like a drug. The dostic officers were sowhat restrained, but these foreign officers quickly beca addicted.
"Found two people." The sound of Jiang Yuan’s keyboard stopped, and the printer began to clatter.
Unable to wait, Ni Cha rushed to the printer, snatching up the task from the young officers.
Two slightly blurred faces appeared on the printouts.
Ni Cha gave them a quick glance, then like a retriever, hurriedly brought them back to Jiang Yuan.
"The resolution of this surveillance is too low. Printing it on photo paper might make it clearer." Jiang Yuan said, sitting back at the computer, "I’ll do two versions of enhancent—one original enhanced, and one enhanced with forensic sketching. Get so of Hassan’s people in here to see if anyone can recognize them."
While speaking, Jiang Yuan resud typing on the computer.
Ni Cha turned around and ordered, "Photo paper, hurry up and get so here. Hassan... go get two people from the office next door, and arrange an office where they can call a few people who recognize more."
As the police team busied themselves, Jiang Yuan focused on image enhancent, along with forensic sketching.
In theory, forensic sketching can reconstruct a completely unrecognizable face based on the bone structure, muscle distribution, remaining skin, and other information of a corpse.
Of course, similar to cranial reconstruction, this half-scientific, half-artistic endeavor has a success rate and accuracy of just 50% at best. But overall, any clue with a 50% probability can satisfy the criminal police.
The sa logic applies to unclear surveillance videos. The distortion of images compared to a decayed corpse doesn’t necessarily an one is more deford than the other.
In fact, compared to the reckless decay of a corpse, video distortions can be sowhat traceable.
However, there are very few people in the world who can master both skills simultaneously. To be able to connect and integrate them is even rarer.
Soone like Jiang Yuan, a Level 5 image enhancent and Level 6 forensic sketch technician, might not exist at all.
This creates a unique item, but to a certain extent, it also affects the reliability of the evidence—if sothing is achievable only by you and no one else, the court may not accept it as evidence.
However, during the investigation phase, this does not matter.
Soon, the sound of Jiang Yuan’s keyboard tapping began to slow down, and the volu reduced.
Ni Cha approached cautiously and whispered, "God Jiang, we have the suspect identification personnel ready."
"Good, take these photos and let them see if there’s anyone they recognize." Jiang Yuan finished the drawing and printed out several photos.
"Got it, I’ll take them over now." Ni Cha happily took the photos and ran off.
Passing through a strong perfu scent, Ni Cha noticed Shen Yaowei in the corner.
Ni Cha hesitated, then decided to call Shen Yaowei, "Yao Wei, co with to do the identification."
"No need, I have enough points." Shen Yaowei smiled.
"There’s no limit for this." Seeing Shen Yaowei shake his head again, Ni Cha had no ti to argue, hurrying to show the photos to Hassan’s people in the next office.
Since it would be used as evidence, this ti, from entering the office, Ni Cha had soone raise the cara, proceeding as per the suspect identification protocol.
He had six photos in total; as long as one was recognized, they could investigate the person’s related information, and they wouldn’t get away easily. The only thing to be cautious about was the subsequent investigation procedures relating to this person.
By this point, any police officer from the special case team knew the case was very complex, so anything related to evidence had to be handled ticulously.
"Is it Niyuman?"
Soone softly called out.
Ni Cha was startled—already recognized.
He quickly turned around, saying, "No cross-conversation, write down the na you think it is, then give it to ."
After a little chaos, among the notes Ni Cha received, four said "Niyuman."
Ni Cha imdiately ordered a system verification.
After a brief confirmation, Ni Cha signaled the cara to leave and called for everyone to prepare a formal transcript.
At the sa ti, Ni Cha first dialed the chief’s phone.
Ni Cha: "I’ve found the person. The victim was lured out at 5 AM, then presumably taken into Faris’s silver Crown. There’s no surveillance there, but God Jiang deduced it. He found the Crown 2 kiloters away based on surveillance, and from the tiline, Faris is mostly ruled out."
Ni Cha quickly finished the preamble, then said, "Based on surveillance on another road, Jiang Yuan found images of two suspects; one was identified as Niyuman, recognized by Hassan’s people, also an insider. He’s Pikami’s driver."
The chief’s breathing grew heavier before he asked, "Any other evidence?"
"Niyuman is tall, has military experience, and very strong arms, eting the conditions for overpowering the victim from a high fall. We’ve confird his location—do we apprehend him?"
The chief paused for a good ten seconds before saying, "Arrest him, personally. Secret arrest, secret interrogation."
"Niyuman has a gun." Ni Cha added quietly, "How about taking Jiang Yuan’s people?"
"Huang Qiangmin is hard to deal with." The chief imdiately refused, adding, "Prepare protection; make sure to capture him alive."
