Beep beep beep beep.

When the alarm on the phone rang, the group of people discussing through the video eting paused.

"It’s 3 o’clock."

Stefano pressed his phone with his short, thick fingers, opened his eyes, and looked at everyone. "Well? Any conclusions?"

"No new conclusions," Alessio replied with a bit of frustration. Looking back at his notebook, filled with scribbles after hours of brainstorming, he still couldn’t determine whether the plane malfunction was due to human error or chanical failure, nor could he confirm what Jiang Yuan had discerned.

Stefano, as a board mber, had gathered experts from various fields as Alessio requested. Avi Airlines wasn’t short on cash; their annual consultation expenses frequently exceeded hundreds of millions of US Dollars, and they were more than willing to pay when hiring experts, just like they did for Alessio.

Avi Airlines didn’t even need to contact the experts personally; once Alessio made his request, they hired a professional business information agency to find the people.

With a consultation fee of thousands of euros per hour, Alessio could have any expert he needed, a professional solution to any problem, yet still failed to get the answers he sought.

The content in his notebook was complex and intricate, yet no conclusions were reached.

"Sorry," Alessio could only respond to Stefano.

"It’s okay." 69-year-old Stefano, surprisingly, took it quite calmly, saying, "Your efforts at least prove it’s extrely difficult to be proven. An unprovable malfunction serves us just as well."

"This..." Alessio recalled Jiang Yuan’s expression and deanor at the ti and could only shrug, "Sorry..."

"Is the autopsy report out?" Stefano looked up and turned to ask.

"Not yet." The answer ca from a liaison officer from Avi Airlines, stationed from Yibenli, originally responsible for sales but now involved in crisis managent to continue sales.

Alessio flipped through his notebook rapidly, "Didn’t they say the autopsy report will be out in 24 hours?"

"They said approximately 24 hours, not precisely 24 hours." The Avi liaison officer, lacking any charm with Alessio, stated bluntly, "Maybe one or two days later for the report is possible."

Alessio, pressed against ti for so long, finding himself questioning, "Will it take that long?"

"The Chinese forensic doctors are bureaucrats first and foremost; it’s not unusual for them to delay by a few days." The Avi liaison officer said coolly, "You’d understand after spending so ti in China, so officials have trendously low work efficiency. Every project we apply for gets delayed a long ti, both slow and troubleso."

His remarks focused on explaining to Stefano the board mber.

"Ah..." Alessio, not understanding much of this, could only nod blankly.

"Just right, Alessio, maybe you should take a break. After waking up, you might get an answer," board mber Stefano, also not pressuring Alessio further given the elongated deliberation ti, saw no aning in adding one or two more hours.

Alessio, already exhausted, wrapped up the video eting after hearing Stefano’s suggestion and went back to rest.

Just as he got to his room and began undressing, his phone rang again.

"The autopsy report is out." It was the Avi liaison officer calling, "They actually delivered on ti this ti. Maybe our Chinese agent did so work. They’ll join you soon for strategy discussions."

"I’ll be right there." Alessio slapped his face to wake up and, realizing that there wasn’t ti for a shower, used wet wipes on the table to wipe his underarms, changed into a fresh shirt, and headed to the elevator, back to the rooftop eting room within minutes.

Looking up, 69-year-old Stefano also returned, having changed his clothes, including his pants, as did his secretary.

The Avi Airlines liaison handed Alessio a folder.

Alessio nodded, sat down, and before opening the docunt, he took a deep breath unconsciously.

The translator sitting beside him gave Alessio a strange look, whispering, "You don’t need to worry. Now that we have the autopsy report, it should count as the mont of unraveling the mystery."

"Only if the solution conforms to our expectations." Alessio paused, then said, "I also don’t know how he unravels the mystery."

"You’ll know once you look." The translator, being from a liberal arts background, couldn’t comprehend the mountain on Alessio’s mind.

Alessio carefully started unsealing the file, layer by layer.

Board mber Stefano beside him wasn’t urging, anwhile, experts from Avi Airlines were gradually joining the video conference, soon the left side of the screen displayed a dozen avatars.

Alessio, unable to mind them now, took out the autopsy report and opened the translation app on his phone, preparing to read.

Autopsy reports have a set format. The format differs between the two countries but mainly focuses on explaining the contents.

Alessio quickly scanned through the introductory part using the translation app, then stopped at the detailed section, beginning to read slowly and painstakingly, with the translator assisting by his side. Before long, Alessio’s attention was captured by the photos accompanying the report.
