Chapter 1224: Chapter 1152 Tracking

“Damn, there are so many red lights today, must be this damn kid’s bad luck…” the driver cursed under his breath.

He knew how dangerous it was to deal with these small-ti drug dealers. Rumor had it that all the low-level drug dealers openly trading had a mark on them at the police station. The police weren’t arresting them yet, just casting a long line to catch the bigger fish.

Of course, the police didn’t have eyes everywhere and couldn’t see the dealers’ trades from above, so the small-ti dealers usually had a survival period when they first entered the business. Many of them just aid to make a quick buck and then disappear.

Whether they could actually get away in the end was another matter.

The driver felt slightly safer working under Brother Li, so he particularly didn’t want to deal with these small-ti dealers, fearing he’d be targeted as a result.

But Brother Li’s orders were sothing he dared not disobey.

Brother Li was a real drug lord, not just ard with guns and n but also with bundles of drugs. Even without using the forr, the latter alone could rally countless addicts to do his bidding.

And in the driver’s mind, Brother Li could probably get more support from the gang behind him. Not to ntion, the guns Brother Li had were not sothing an ordinary dealer could even buy. So to the driver, Brother Li was soone with money, n, and weapons, and he had connections and was as ruthless and cunning as the drug lords on TV.

“Why are you guys catching ?” Nightclub Thin asked, knowing the answer but still flustered.

He knew he was being followed by the police, so he was already careless about hiding while doing things. But now, it’s clear he’s not caught by the police. Have they kept up with him? At this mont, Nightclub Thin actually started to miss the interrogation room, where at least there were chairs, and no stinky feet stepping on his face.

“Didn’t I tell you guys to shut his mouth? Can’t stuff a sock?” The driver was lazy to answer, unwilling even. His only job was to turn this kid over to Brother Li, and any more chatter would just be wrong.

The two in the backseat were high on th, eyes bright with excitent, laughing: “Don’t wanna take off my shoes, hold on, let find a rag.”

Saying so, he rummaged through the car.

Nightclub Thin cried in disgust, “Bro, I won’t talk, I won’t…”

The junkie in the back paid no attention, found a rag soaked with oil and vomit, maybe even other things, and brutally stuffed it into Nightclub Thin’s mouth.

Nightclub Thin couldn’t even spit it out, his eyes imdiately turning red.

The junkie who stuffed the rag found joy in it, suddenly bursting into laughter, “In movies, the stuff they use is always clean, you can tell they’ve got no real-world experience.”

“Maybe the actors don’t wanna?” The driver, like Brother Li, didn’t use drugs, making his mind a bit clearer.

The junkie in the back chuckled twice, “Actors don’t wanna stuff anything in, I’ll send you a link later…”

Nightclub Thin struggled desperately.

The junkie looked at his small and slender back, twisting with so allure, suddenly becoming interested, pinning him down with a large hand, licked his lips, “Kid, make happy, and I’ll take that rag out of your mouth.”

As he spoke, he started to undo Nightclub Thin’s pants.

Nightclub Thin froze for two seconds, then suddenly struggled like mad.

Unable to restrain him, the eager junkie turned and said, “Give a hand, when I’m done, it’s just nice for you to use.”

The other junkie raised his eyebrows, “What’s the point? There’s no lube, how do you get in.”

Finding interest, the eager one looked around, sared his hand on the floor, pinched it, “Oil works the sa.”

“You’ll wear him out.” The other junkie said yet stepped forward to help.

Nightclub Thin struggled wildly.

The driver in front was displeased, “There’re surveillance caras everywhere on the roads, endless traffic jams. Are you crazy? What if soone sees and calls the cops? Plus, Brother Li wants him for questioning, later you can do whatever when he talks obediently.”

The eager junkie was not happy either, “I wanna do it now.”

“Then you gonna reek when you see Brother Li? Are you out of your mind? If you’re gonna die, don’t drag with you. Besides, can’t you get sothing like this to play with yourself later?” The driver cursed loudly.

The junkie humd twice, stopping the action, muttering discontentedly, “Like he’s so emperor needing a bath and new clothes.”

“Damn you…” The driver frowned, “You read books?”

“He used to be a teacher.” The other junkie proudly shared, “Was even a college graduate.”

“Oh.” The driver was unfazed, not a big deal. With the dostic situation, drug addicts as dealers found it even harder to rise, this kind using for years yet not joining trafficking organizations was practically wasted.

Command room.

Jiang Yuan looked at the screen before him, feeling relatively relaxed.

“Nightclub Thin” was originally a decoy. The biggest risk of his being captured lay in potentially exposing the plan, which in turn would make Brother Li hide even deeper.

But from the drone footage, “Nightclub Thin” was tied up like a Japanese pornstar and thrown on the floor, and the three traffickers showed no sign of making phone calls.

With the arrival of additional drones, it was even clearer that the traffickers were calm, almost bantering. By logic, if they knew they caught a bait from the cops, they’d probably be scared to death.

Druggies, though ruthless, also feared death.

“The car is stolen, the owner doesn’t even know it’s missing yet.” Wang Chuanxing reported, unsurprisingly.

“Just keep following.” Jiang Yuan rubbed his eyes, sat down with a teacup in hand.

Yuan Bomian stared, standing just slightly ahead of Jiang Yuan, though he could only watch. The drones used for tracking flew at a height of over a hundred ters, much higher than the 33rd floor of a regular residential building, with no good eyesight from below, they couldn’t be spotted.

Liu Jinghui, standing by, sighed, “Technology now is phasing out the good old skills, in a couple more decades, people might forget how to track others.”

“Inside a building, you still need people to track.” Yuan Bomian promptly replied, “I once tracked a drug dealer in a mall, the guy changed clothes twice, just watching the surveillance was not enough… right?”

He realized only at the end Jiang Yuan was the monitoring expert, quickly asking.

Jiang Yuan smiled, shook his head, not speaking.

For him, simply changing clothes was child’s play. However, it did increase workload.

Most anti-surveillance techniques, for the police, were issues of workload rather than whether the case could be cracked.

“Give them as many green lights as possible, let them get back sooner.” Yuan Bomian, seeing everyone was more or less ready, issued a new order.

The image investigation officers responded readily.

Thus, the van that kidnapped “Nightclub Thin” entered the green wave, speeding through the web-like city roads like on a highway.

The driver inexplicably felt a thrill, arriving at the tenent where Brother Li was hiding, still sowhat not satisfied.

“Put him in the suitcase.”

No need for him to say, the other two were already busy.

Nightclub Thin was just the right size to fit into a large suitcase, making it unobtrusive to take out, and convenient for disposing of a body.

Nightclub Thin struggled anew, to no avail.

Screech…

As the zipper went up, the light in front of Nightclub Thin was completely extinguished.

The three dragged the suitcase together into the tenent building.

At the sa ti, several drones overhead began various scans.

“At least two rifles and several handguns.”

Soone specifically handling data from the drones gave a feedback on the threat imdiately.

Yuan Bomian was not surprised, just said to Jiang Yuan: “I’ll personally lead the team over, Captain Jiang, you just need to sit in the command room.”

“The other side has rifles.” Jiang Yuan reminded Yuan Bomian.

“We’ve got heavy weapons too, push cos to shove, we’ll toss grenades right at them.” Yuan Bomian replied. For the police, semi-automatic rifles counted as heavy arms.

“Let find you so real heavy weapons.” Jiang Yuan pulled Yuan Bomian with one hand, lest he get too anxious and make a mistake. He took out his phone with the other hand, dialing Xu Taining: “Director Xu, could you lend so of those personnel and equipnt we used last ti?”

It was all part of the Lanyue City case; the AKs in Brother Li’s hands might even have been bought from the Heavy Load Gang.

Though an ordinary case could be dragged out with little tricks, for this case, rescuing people made a strong assault nearly the best choice.
