[Year X791]

~ With Makarov ~

Makarov sat in the Guild Master's office, surrounded by stacks of completed mission reports. Each flyer bore the sa na in neat handwriting: Shisui. The paperwork told a story of excellence, of difficult tasks completed swiftly. Every single mission marked as successful, every client report glowing with praise.

When he'd asked the Fairy Tail mages, who'd remained during the 7 years, directly who this mysterious S-class mage was, their responses had been remarkably consistent.

"He was what kept us together." Max had said.

Bisca had been even more direct. "He gave us hope when we had none left. Made us believe we could rebuild."

Roo's words had been the most telling. "He taught us what it ant to be strong."

Every conversation had ended the sa way. When Makarov asked where this 'Shisui' was now, where he could find him to offer his personal thanks, the remaining guild mbers would get that sa expression. Sad, bittersweet, tinged with a loss that went deeper than re absence.

It was Macao who had finally provided the answer. He'd pulled out a well-worn copy of Sorcerer's Weekly, the headline still visible despite the magazine's obvious age.

S-CLASS MAGE SHISUI THE TELEPORTER DIES IN MISSION! WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FAIRIES NOW?!

The mont Makarov saw those words, everything clicked into place. The reverence, the grief, the careful way his guild mbers spoke about their missing mber. They weren't just missing soone who'd left. They were mourning soone who'd reportedly died.

The investigation had consud him since then. Mission reports, client testimonials, financial records. Anything that might help him understand the man who'd held his guild together during their darkest hour.

Finally, buried in a stack of official correspondence, he'd found it. A letter bearing the seal of one of the Four Gods of Ishgar. The writing was in Warrod Sequen's distinctive script, and the content made Makarov's eyes widen in surprise.

It was a personal recomndation.

Warrod had not only suggested Shisui for guild mbership but had insisted on it, using his considerable influence to ensure the application was approved imdiately. The letter spoke of exceptional character, extraordinary abilities, and an urgent need for soone of Shisui's caliber to stabilize Fairy Tail's situation.

What Makarov was unaware of was that Warrod had known about the Three Great Fairy Magics, had known that the Tenrou Island survivors would eventually return. All Fairy Tail had needed was soone strong enough to hold the fort until that happened. Soone who could be their pillar in the interim.

Makarov had decided then and there that he needed answers only Warrod could provide.

~ Five days later, with Makarov ~

Makarov found himself sitting across from the ancient mage in his forest ho. Warrod poured tea with the experience of soone who'd perfected the ritual over multiple decades.

"It brings such joy to see the Fairy Tail mages return. I knew this day would co, but experiencing it firsthand is sothing else entirely." Warrod said, his voice warm with genuine pleasure.

"You knew all along that we would, didn't you?" Makarov replied, accepting the offered cup.

Warrod simply chuckled, neither confirming nor denying the statent.

"I must apologize," Makarov continued, "but I didn't co for a social visit. I ca to ask about a certain Fairy Tail mage."

The change in Warrod's expression was imdiate and unmistakable as the jovial warmth faded, replaced by sothing bittersweet and heavy with mory. His eyes seed to dim as he set down his teacup carefully.

"You know who I want to talk about," Makarov said gently.

Warrod nodded slowly. "Shisui."

"What can you tell about him?"

Warrod was quiet for a long mont, staring into his tea as if it might contain answers to questions he'd been avoiding. When he finally spoke, his voice carried the weight of genuine regret.

"We t by coincidence," he began. "He was wandering through my forest, lost and clearly not from around here. There was sothing about him, sothing that set him apart from other mages I'd encountered. His magic was entirely different. Not drawn from the environnt like ours, but generated from within."

This was news to Makarov. He'd studied the mission reports extensively, but there had been no ntion of Shisui's magical nature being fundantally different from other mages.

"He was a traveling mage. Not from Ishgar at all, though he never spoke much about where he'd co from specifically. Before I recomnded him to Fairy Tail, he worked several S-rank missions for personally." Warrod continued.

"Several?" Makarov asked, leaning forward with interest.

"His strength when we first t was comparable to young Erza Scarlet's level before you left for Tenrou Island." Warrod said matter-of-factly.

Makarov was stunned by the statent. Erza was one of the most powerful female mages in the kingdom, her combat prowess legendary even among other S-class mages. For Shisui to have matched that level before even joining Fairy Tail was extraordinary.

"But that was just the beginning," Warrod continued, a small smile playing at his lips. "After a year of S-rank missions, his growth was remarkable. By the ti he left my service, he would have given even you a run for your money in a straight fight. When he single-handedly dispatched that demon fragnt of Khathros, I knew he'd surpassed even my expectations."

Makarov felt his jaw drop. A demon fragnt was no ordinary threat. It required the kind of power that only the most elite mages possessed. For Shisui to have handled it alone spoke to abilities that placed him firmly amongst the elite.

"That strong…" Makarov whispered in awe.

Warrod's smile widened, taking on an almost playful quality. "Oh, but I haven't told you the best part yet. Throughout his entire ti with Fairy Tail, he accomplished sothing that even you, with all your wisdom and experience, never managed to do."

"What's that?"

"For the full two years he was with the guild, Fairy Tail didn't accumulate a single jewel of additional debt. Not one mission resulted in property damage claims or collateral expenses. In fact, their financial situation improved dramatically."

This ti, Makarov's jaw hit the floor. In his decades of leading Fairy Tail, he'd never managed to keep his guild mbers from causing expensive incidents. The property damage alone had been a constant source of stress with the Magic Council. To hear that Shisui had sohow managed to prevent any such problems while maintaining the guild's reputation was almost impossible to believe.

Warrod's laughter filled the room. "I've never seen a single individual embody the values of Fairy Tail more perfectly than Shisui. He understood what it ant to protect family, to stand against darkness, to never abandon hope. He was everything our guild represents at its best."

The laughter gradually faded, and Warrod's expression grew serious. The sudden shift in atmosphere made Makarov straighten in his chair, sensing that sothing important was about to be revealed.

"Which is why I feel completely responsible for his disappearance," Warrod said quietly.

"What do you an?"

"The Magic Council sent him on an S-rank mission to investigate that Mountain Zone."

Makarov's blood turned to ice. "You don't an... that... Mountain Zone, do you?"

Warrod's confirming nod sent a chill through the room. The Mountain Zone they were referring to was legendary among those who knew. A place so dangerous that even the most powerful mages approached it with extre caution. It was even rumoured to contain threats that could challenge the very foundations of magical society.

"What in the world made them think that even soone as strong as I am could handle that zone? God Serena himself has cautioned against investigating it!" Makarov asked, his voice barely contained.

Warrod's expression grew even more grave. "Because by that point, Shisui held enough power to challenge any of the Four Gods of Ishgar. In fact, he could have given God Serena a good fight and go toe-to-toe with him as well."

The words hung in the air like a death sentence as Makarov stared at Warrod, trying to process the implications of what he'd just heard. Soone with that level of power, sent into the Mountain Zone.

Can't believe I'm saying this on a Tuesday, but Bonus Chapter secured for tomorrow with 134 stones! I have no idea why or how but suddenly this fanfic has finally gained so traction in webnovel xD We might be able to hit the Bonus Chapter cap by Thursday! If we do, I'll consider changing the bonus chapter system starting next week, maybe 150-200 power stones per Bonus Chapter but no cap and see how it plays out. Understand that this isn't a translation but original fanfic, so I do not have the ability to spam 3 or 4 chapters a day like all the other 200 power stones MTL translations xD
