But unknown to both of them Usagi was hearing their conversation secretly through a seal she had hidden inside the tent after coming in.

"I never thought that Tsunade would be able to overco her haemophobia." Danzo Shimura, the so-called darkness of the shinobi muttered to himself in a low voice. His usual emotionless and cold face had a frown on it.
"It is clear that Hiruzen doesn't want to promote Orochimaru. It seems I have been focusing on the wrong target." The cold and calculative mind of Danzo, processed every detail of the current situation of the hidden leaf army in the Iwa front. From what he had understood so far, Hiruzen's actions were indicating that his old friend wanted to decrease the reputation of his own disciple. Even though Iwa had an overwhelming advantage of both quality and quantity in the front line, Hiruzen has given Orochimaru an order to launch a brutal offensive against the hidden stone while giving him very poor support. And knowing Orochimaru, he would sacrifice a large amount of the cannon fodders to complete the mission. Which will only tarnish his reputation among the remaining shinobi.
"But now Hiruzen has sent Tsunade to the front line. Could it be that he is actually planning Tsunade to beco the next hokage ? No.... I will have to wait for the mission to be over to decide the aning behind Hiruzen's move. I have already made a secret move. Too much movent will expose my involvent." Danzo muttered to himself.
The old warhawk had already sent his gift to the old dwarf Onoki. Hatake Sakumo was a thorn in his path. So Danzo had prepared a mission which will be the final mission of Sakumo. His root had already fed false information to the spies of the hidden stone. Now, Sakumo and his team will be able to destroy the rear logistic base of Iwa without much problem. But after that, they will never be able to return to the village. No one except for him knew that along with Roshi, Han was also deployed at the border. Sakumo Hatake was very strong. With his Chakra blade and kenjutsu skills he could cut through any ninjutsu with ease. Combining it with his speed and swordsmanship, he was a nightmare to deal with on the battlefield. During the second great Shinobi war, he had cut through even the dust release jutsu of Onoki. If not for his flight ability, the old Tsuchikage might not have been alive to declare War on them. But in his entire career, Sakumo had never faced Jinjurikis. So Danzo was hoping that this ti the white fang would fall. And even if he doesn't fall, his root agents will make sure that he doesn't co back alive.
But even if Sakumo is gone, Tsunade is now back. She is the direct disciple of the third hokage and the granddaughter of Senju Hashirama. Now that the Senju Clan is almost gone, Hiruzen might transfer her power to Tsunade.....
"I will have to wait and see... Being impatient will only hinder from reaching my goals." Danzo muttered to himself.
Writing a few new orders on a scroll he passed it to the nearby root mber and went further into darkness.

"I would have liked to know the reason why Tsunade abandoned . Knowing her personality and her current attitude towards , there must be so dangerous thing that was forcing her to not accept outright. Maybe it is related to my father being an Uchiha ?" Usagi muttered to herself while going to get her food. Truth to be told, Usagi didn't care about getting parental love. She was only interested in her connection with the future fifth hokage.
Upon reaching the place where the food was being distributed for all the shinobi, she got into the line. It was a good thing that she had brought snacks and so other goodies back from the village in her secret storage scroll. Because the food in the frontline is very bland and favourless. Plain White rice, soup and grilled at. It was the common food available for all the shinobi. Of course the cooking thod and the temporary cooking place is considered top secret. Especially in war camps like the one she was in. A bottle of potent poison in the hands of an insider is enough to wipe out an entire army. That's why there are shinobi who acted as food testers before serving the food to the army.
After getting the white rice, Usagi didn't take anything else and prepared to leave for her own tent. Being an Elite Jounin and the official disciple of the deputy commander, she had her own tent.
Upon reaching her tent, she brought out her secret scroll. Being a shinobi doesn't an that she was going to compromise with her pallet. It will be disrespectful to herself if she doesn't eat good food when she has the Predator skill with her. With a burst of Chakra, all the necessary ingredients to prepare a good al showed up in front of her. Fortunately the rice provided in the frontline is of good quality. Instead of using a shadow clone, Usagi started cooking a good al for herself. Taking a giant pan, she put it on the fire summoning seal and increased the intensity of the flas by increasing the output of her Chakra. While the pan was getting hot she quickly chopped off her personally brought high quality at and vegetables. With all the available ingredients the Aroma of fried rice soon filled her tent. But just as she served herself the spicy fried rice in a bowl, a certain legendary sucker just decided to show up in her tent along with the yellow flasher.
"Wow ! This sll is very nice !"
"Usagi, are you having a feast even without inviting us ?"
That night the two freeloaders got the taste of Usagi level of spicy food for the first and the last ti in their life. Tsunade, with her dical ninjutsu, managed to get rid of the food from her body after taking the first bite.
But the poor blonde Flasher was not that lucky.
Next day, the rising star Minato was seen limping back towards his tent after attending his nature's call.

"We are not going to launch an offensive on the Iwa. Instead we will lure them out into a trap. Minato kun, these are the seals that you will plant in the middle of the army of the hidden stone. With your flying thunder God jutsu, you should be able to do it right ?" Orochimaru asked Minato.

"Once you plant these seals, return to the camp imdiately. Then you can continue to Guard Usagi chan. These seals are very dangerous. Created by the joint efforts of Usagi chan and . Once these seals are activated, it will continue to release a potent poison to the air which will remain inside a certain space. No amount of wind style jutsu will be able to disperse it. It might not kill a person, but it will definitely paralyse them and cause them imnse pain." Orochimaru explained to everyone present in the pre-war eting. Among the people present there, there were important future clan heads like Inoichi Yamanaka, Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi. Then there was Minato, the chief of the frontline dics, Tsunade and finally .
As soon as Orochimaru ntioned my involvent, the attention of all the people concentrated on .
But Orochimaru was not lying. After Tsunade acted as my bodyguard, I had agreed to work with the creepy snake. We just worked together for only a day. And it completely changed my perspective on Orochimaru. Orochimaru was not a mad scientist. He was ambitious. But he has not reached the level of "mad scientist" yet. That's why I helped him create a seal that will help us in the war. A simple barrier seal that will continuously disperse the air inside it. Combining it with a poison dispersion seal, our current weapon was created.
"Now, here is the main plan. We will prepare our army to retreat a mile into the land of Fire. There we will get a perfect place to create a big trap. Once Minato successfully completes his mission, the poison barrier will force the Iwa shinobi to take either of these to choices. Either march back and retreat to their own territory, or march forward and co to the land of Fire. If it is the first case then we will take our forces and move around the barrier and infiltrate the land of forest to launch a pincer attack on the Iwa shinobi. And if it is the second case, then we will activate our pre-prepared traps and simply reap the rewards." Orochimaru said to everyone, his golden slitted eyes gleaming with a predatory light.
