Ding! Congratulations, Master's Chakra has reached the Elite Chunin level!

The familiar robotic voice echoed in Youyu's mind as he lazily stretched, clenching his fist and feeling the undeniable surge of power.

"Well, that's an upgrade."

With a flick of his wrist, he called up his status panel.

Master: Sakumo Youyu

Age: 8

Physique: Elite Chunin

Chakra: Elite Chunin

Kendo Comprehension: Swordsman

Special Ability: Shura Sword Intent

Overall Strength: Special Jōnin Level

(Note: Additional strength boost in a drunken state.)

Unlike the overly complex systems he'd read about in his past life's novels, the Bacchus System was lazy—just like him. It only updated when he broke through a threshold and didn't bother with exact numbers.

Not that Youyu cared.

Stats were just numbers. They didn't an a damn thing in a real fight.

On paper, he was only Special Jōnin level—but when Kakashi challenged him, Youyu had only been a re Chunin according to his stats. Yet, after a few drinks, he had sliced Kakashi down with a single strike.

Numbers ant nothing. A blade in hand ant everything.

Then, there was his Shura Sword Intent—a terrifying aura that rged kendo mastery with raw killing intent. He had first awakened it when a reckless teacher shattered his sake bottle. That poor man was still recovering in the hospital.

Shura Sword Intent didn't just weaken an opponent—it broke them. Those without an unshakable will would find themselves paralyzed in fear, their bodies convinced they were standing before an unstoppable executioner.

Asuma had learned that lesson the hard way.

But Youyu didn't dwell on it. With fine wine and grilled at in front of him, why waste ti thinking about things that didn't involve eating or drinking?

Across the table, Kurenai sulked as she watched Rin happily chat with Youyu. A thoughtful glint flashed in her eyes before she smirked, already planning which of her father's hidden sake stashes she could steal next.

The consequences of frequent disappearances from her father's liquor collection?

Kurenai didn't care.

The Next Day – Konoha Ninja Academy"A good ninja must always strive for excellence..."

Gulp. Gulp. Gulp.

Inside the classroom, Hideichi Tanaka stood at the blackboard, diligently explaining today's lesson. But unlike other classes, his words were punctuated by the unmistakable sound of soone drinking.

Tanaka coughed, his eye twitching. It was always like this.

He cautiously glanced toward the back of the classroom, praying that Youyu wasn't too drunk.

To his mild relief, Youyu was only slightly intoxicated—not at the level where he started randomly cutting people.

Tanaka let out a silent exhale. He had lost count of how many tis he had pleaded with the academy to transfer him to another class.

They always refused.

"Who else would dare teach Youyu?" they told him.

He wasn't a teacher anymore—he was a hostage.

What if one day Youyu drank too much and went berserk? Who would protect him?!

For the first ti in his life, Tanaka realized that being a teacher was a high-risk profession.

And the danger wasn't from enemy shinobi.

It was from a single, drunken eight-year-old.

This afternoon's lessons are complete," Tanaka declared, scanning the classroom. "Next, we'll be conducting a practical test."

Instantly, groans and murmurs spread across the room.

"Another test? Already?"

"We just did one last week..."

"This is like, the fourth one this month!"

The class whispered among themselves, wondering why there were so many evaluations lately.

But there was one person who wasn't concerned.

Youyu took another swig of sake and smirked.

A practical test?

That just ant one thing.

Soone was about to get cut.
