Funan looked at the letter in his hand and fell into deep thought.
He had visited Agakure, but he did not find Obito. Instead, Obito left him a letter.
The content was simple: If he wanted the Five-Tails, he had to make the Raikage leave Kumogakure.
It wasn't a particularly difficult thing.
He was just curious, what did Obito want to do?
Is he after the Eight Tails?
"Bah, it doesn't matter now. I'll get the Five-Tails' chakra first, then we'll see."
Funan made a decision quickly.
"Six Paths, Six Paths, you are such a jerk, you are causing so much trouble!"
"If it weren't for you, would I have to go through so much trouble?"
"If you had just sealed a tailed beast on the moon, would there have been so many problems?"
"Even if you didn't seal it, as the Six Paths Sage, is it really that difficult for you to find a way to get rid of a tailed beast?"
"To put it bluntly, you are a jerk, you just want to make trouble."
"Perfect, keep it up."
"When I have enough power, I swear I'll seal you in the Moon too. So you can keep your mother company." Funan murmured, then called Naoto: "Inform the other villages. During the Chunin Exams, I will call a Five Kage Summit!"
Naoto blinked in surprise before replying: "Hokage-sama, we have just received news that the Raikage also wishes to convene a Five Kage Summit during the Chunin Exams in Konoha."
Funan was silent for a mont before muttering, "That damn Raikage... is he trying to steal my idea?"
Naoto gaped.
"By the way!" Naoto said again: "General Mifune of the Land of Iron also plans to attend."
"Whatever!"
Funan didn't care.
Although Mifune was a Kage-level fighter, Funan knew that the Raikage was looking for any opportunity to align more forces in his favor. Especially the Land of Iron, whose strategic location was key.
But... so what?
Funan looked out the window. Konoha was transforming day by day, constantly evolving.
"I'll figure it all out in the next few years. Let this Naruto story end in the first part. Shippuden doesn't need to happen, and luckily this world doesn't have anything from the Boruto tiline, so it's unlikely to exist." anything from that plot."
...
"Co on, Kakashi-sensei, hurry up!" A voice full of complaints was heard.
Naruto looked at the carefree silver-haired man in frustration.
Next to Naruto, were Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke.
"I'm sorry. I got lost on the path of life..." Kakashi replied with his classic excuse.
"That's nonsense!" Naruto exclaid indignantly.
As for his character, Naruto remained the sa as in the original tiline.
Sasuke, however, was different. Not having experienced the massacre of his clan, he was not as cold-blooded.
Sakura, on the other hand, was still the sa obsessed fangirl as always.
Unfortunately for her, this Sasuke ignored her even more than in the original tiline, not even taking the ti to answer her.
His ideals were set on becoming a ninja like his older brother, Itachi, or like Funan.
Won?
Haha!
Sasuke had heard many tis that if it weren't for Funan being distracted by so many won, he would have already unified the shinobi world.
As he thought of this, Sasuke cast a hostile look towards Kurenai, who was standing nearby.
Kurenai: "..."
Kakashi: "..."
"Okay!" Kakashi said helplessly: "Don't make such a fuss. You're already signed up for the Chunin Exams. This ti, I called you all here because I have sothing to arrange for you."
"What's it about?" Naruto asked curiously.
Kakashi said seriously: "As you may know, this ti the Chunin Exam will not be just for Konoha shinobi. There will be participants from other villages, and our relations with them are not exactly friendly. Therefore, as genin representing Konoha, you have the responsibility to fight for our village."
"Haha!" Naruto laughed loudly, pointed to the sky and said: "This ti, it's my turn to show off my skills. Just wait and see, I'll let the shinobi from other villages see how excellent Konoha's shinobi are. I'll have them rember that I, Uzumaki Naruto... ahem, ahem, who was it?!"
Naruto, who was full of dust, looked around angrily.
"It was ." Sasuke replied with a scornful look. "You're just a loser, who gave you the confidence to believe that you could excel?"
Naruto said angrily: "Shut up, you conceited bastard! I'm not a loser! I stopped being one a long ti ago."
A few years ago, it was true that he was at the bottom of the class. But that was long gone. Ever since the Perverted Sage appeared in his life, his strength had increased considerably.
"Humph!" Sasuke snorted coldly and didn't bother to pay attention.
He was very dissatisfied with this guy.
Or rather, he hated him!
Naruto, an immature clown, had been lucky enough to get an amazing sensei.
Of course, Sasuke would never admit that what really irritated him was the attention that Funan, one of Konoha's most respected shinobi, paid to Naruto.
Although he knew that the Hokage must have his own reasons for doing this, Sasuke was unhappy.
"Why are you looking at like that?" Naruto shouted, clearly annoyed. "You want to fight? I'll show you how strong I am!"
"Enough!" Kakashi interjected with a frustrated gesture. "Could you two stop fighting for a mont?"
Sasuke, with a cold smile, completely ignored Kakashi. "You want to taste the power of the Uchiha? Fine, I'll indulge you."
Kakashi, watching the scene, sighed in resignation.
Why did his team have to be like this?
The other teams that were there with him seed so united, working together like true partners.
At least Sakura seed calm.
Kakashi looked at the girl with a glimr of hope.
At this mont, Sakura's eyes were shining with excitent, as she muttered to herself: "So handso... Sasuke is the best... the most amazing."
Kakashi called out to her several tis but failed to get her attention. In the end, he could only sigh.
"Enough!" Kakashi's voice echoed loudly.
Naruto and Sasuke stopped, while the rest of the teams, who until then had been enjoying the spectacle, fell silent.
Kakashi, with an irritated look, exclaid: "Didn't I already tell you that the situation is serious this ti?" In an icy tone, he continued: "The Chunin Exam will include shinobi from other villages, and many of them will be willing to join forces to face you. Do you understand what that ans?"
So of those presents frowned. Others looked confused.
It was Kurenai who calmly explained: "What Kakashi is trying to say is that shinobi from other villages might join forces to eliminate them."
Naruto, with his characteristic enthusiasm, exclaid, "It doesn't matter! I will defeat them all!"
"Defeat them?" Uchiha Yashiro intervened, shaking his head. "What we want is for you to kill them all. Will you be able to do that?"
"Huh?" Naruto and the rest of the Konoha 12 were left gaping.
"What's wrong? Can't you do it?" Yashiro asked in an icy voice.
"Ki... kill everyone?" The smiles on the faces of the Konoha 12 couldn't help but stiffen. Especially when they found out that their sensei didn't deny what Yashiro said, they couldn't help but gulp.
Kakashi said with a serious expression: "This is no joke. If we've gathered all of you together before the Chunin Exam, it's because the situation is extrely serious."
"But..." Sakura muttered nervously. "Kill them all? That seems... too much."
"If you don't kill them..." Guy intervened, putting his youth aside. "They'll do it to you. It's that simple."
"Why?" Tenten asked in disbelief.
"Because we are enemies." Kakashi replied in a deep voice. "The Fourth Shinobi War ended recently. Although you did not participate, you must have heard of it. Do you know how many of them died at the hands of Konoha's shinobi? Do you think they will let go of this hatred so easily?"
"At least, we also have companions who died at the hands of the other side, and we will not forget this hatred!"
The atmosphere beca heavy.
The Konoha 12, who had grown up in a more peaceful ti, were not accustod to such realities.
Kakashi and the others, who had lived in tis of war, looked at these young people with complicated expressions.
That was the consequence of peace: they grew up happy and secure but lacking the coolness and determination necessary for the battlefield.
"Listen to everyone!" Kakashi spoke in a serious tone.
"This ti, the Chunin Exam will be completely different. You must be prepared to kill all the shinobi from the other villages. If you do not have that determination... you will die without a doubt."
The hostile attitude of the other villages towards Konoha was evident.
Kakashi's words fell like a bucket of cold water on the Konoha Twelve, who fell into a deep silence.
Kurenai, her voice soft but firm, added: "If anyone does not wish to participate, they may choose to withdraw. We will reorganize their teams, and in the coming days, they will receive intensive training. They will learn how to kill."
