The previous fusion had gone too smoothly, which suggested that the two sides of the fusion were not equal in strength. The ordinary Ketsuryūgan had been quickly devoured by the enhanced version.
So, what if he fused two enhanced Ketsuryūgan together? Would the result be better?
Shinji's gaze fell back on the row of Ketsuryūgan.
After two fusions, he now had six pairs of Ketsuryūgan left: one enhanced pair and five ordinary pairs.
If he wanted to try a new thod, it would an consuming one ordinary pair to create another enhanced pair, and then attempting to fuse the two enhanced pairs together.
If it didn't work, or if the effect was minimal, he would have wasted two more pairs of Ketsuryūgan.
Now, like the Uchiha clan, the Chinoike clan was down to just one or two surviving mbers. Each pair of Ketsuryūgan used was one less in existence.
After a mont, Shinji suddenly laughed at himself. "Why am I hesitating? If they're useless, what's the point of hoarding a bunch of Ketsuryūgan?"
He quickly realized that only dojutsu Bloodline Limit that were useful to him were worth preserving. If the Ketsuryūgan could only reach this level, having seven or eight pairs would be aningless.
After all, his Susanoo only had three pairs of eye sockets.
His Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan already occupied one pair, leaving only two pairs for the strongest dojutsu Bloodline Limit.
Even if he had a hundred pairs of Ketsuryūgan, there would be no place to put them!
Having made up his mind, Shinji didn't hesitate. He took out two ordinary pairs of Ketsuryūgan and removed the enhanced pair he had been using.

So, he didn't rush to fuse the two enhanced pairs of Ketsuryūgan. Instead, he took a break and carefully assessed the newly fused enhanced pair.
He concluded that this newly fused enhanced Ketsuryūgan was roughly equal in ocular power to the previous one, with no significant difference in strength.
This also confird that fusing an ordinary pair into an enhanced pair had no noticeable effect.
Now, he only had five pairs of Ketsuryūgan left: two enhanced pairs and three ordinary pairs.
After resting for an hour or two and recovering so of his ocular power, Shinji activated his Susanoo and the Susanoo Tomoshibi again, equipping both enhanced pairs of Ketsuryūgan.
However, equipping two enhanced pairs didn't provide much more of a boost in ocular power than equipping just one, further confirming his earlier speculation.
"It's ti to begin!"
Taking a deep breath, Shinji steeled himself and attempted to fuse the two enhanced pairs of Ketsuryūgan.
As the Susanoo Tomoshibi activated once more, a trendous resistance imdiately spread, causing Shinji to frown.
Based on past experience, resistance during fusion was actually better than no resistance.
However, this resistance was several tis stronger than when he had fused two ordinary pairs, pushing Shinji to his limits.
But now that he had started, there was no turning back. No matter how difficult it was, he had to grit his teeth and push through.
After a brief hesitation, his expression hardened, and the ocular power of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan erupted.
