Danzo took the scroll that Hiruzen threw to him, and his face darkened after reading it.
Damn it, that idiot Ryoma didn’t ntion that it was Uchiha Hikaru who exposed Root’s operation to the Ninja Cat Clan!
He actually withheld such crucial information? How dare he keep that from ! Damn it!
"Hikaru, the Root’s n attacked your Uchiha clansn. I suspect Abura Ryoma went rogue and carried out the mission without authorization."
"I will personally return and have Ryoma imprisoned imdiately. ANBU will interrogate him on your behalf."
"Root will absolutely give the Uchiha clan a proper explanation."
"I just don’t know what to do about you, Fugaku, and Itachi attacking Root’s base, Hikaru."
Sensing the situation turning against him, Danzo shalessly threw his own subordinate under the bus to protect himself. He betrayed Abura Ryoma, pinned the bla entirely on him, and distanced himself from Root’s misconduct.
And by doing this, he could even accuse the Uchiha of attacking the Root base.
Hearing Danzo’s words, Hiruzen imdiately understood his intent and chose to go along with the sche.
"Hikaru, Danzo is right. Abura Ryoma betrayed the village and attacked his comrades. After he’s in prison, Konoha will deliver justice to the Uchiha."
"But it’s also true that you attacked Root. Considering that it was Danzo’s failure in managing Root that led to this, I will reduce the punishnt for the Uchiha appropriately."
Danzo’s face contorted with frustration.

Danzo was livid! If Hikaru ends up under Hiruzen’s control, how will he ever achieve his dream of the Susanoo Buddha?
Fugaku stood next to Hikaru. Upon hearing Hiruzen’s offer, his expression turned grim as he looked at Hikaru.
"Hahahaha!"
Hikaru suddenly burst into manic laughter, laughing wildly toward the sky. This marked the mont that the original Four Laughing Heroes of the Uchiha beca the Five Laughing Heroes.
His smile slowly faded.
Hikaru glared at Sarutobi Hiruzen.
"Sarutobi Hiruzen, I’ve respected you. Because of your position as Hokage, I gave you face and called you Hokage."
"But do you really think you’re so high and mighty?"
The Mangekyō Sharingan spun violently, the chakra around him turning cold and heavy.
A pitch-black skeletal fra began to take shape, surrounding Fugaku and Hikaru.
The skeleton expanded upward, forming the full upper body.
A massive skeletal form, tens of ters tall, lood over Danzo and Hiruzen. Pale golden eyes glared down at them, radiating unrestrained rage.
As his ocular power surged, Hikaru felt his body being pricked by a thousand needles. Fortunately, the Hashirama cells he had copied from Obito eased the pain, and no blood-tears stread from his eyes.
"Sarutobi, think carefully! The Uchiha and the Senju were the two clans that founded Konoha. A Hokage alone cannot shake us!"
"The Uchiha Police Force has had the authority to enforce the law since its inception! We have the right to arrest those who obstruct justice!"
"As a mber of Root, Uchiha Itachi has officially reported a suspicious intruder inside Root’s facilities."
"Root mbers refusing to cooperate with the Police Chief and Deputy Chief during law enforcent operations will be killed on the spot without rcy! Is that not within regulation?"
The pressure from Susanoo surged again. Hikaru kept pouring in chakra. Veins and muscle fibers appeared on the skeletal fra.
Within monts, the upper body transford. A full-bodied armored warrior stood on the ground, holding a ten-ter-long chakra blade in its right hand.
Hiruzen stared at the towering construct, his heart trembling.
He hadn’t expected Hikaru to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan and master Susanoo at just sixteen years old!
Hikaru’s current form—a half-body Susanoo—might still be manageable with Danzo’s help. But what if he could go even further?
And Fugaku was still at his side.
Yet with Root mbers and ANBU under his command nearby, there was still hope.
Hiruzen raised his arm, ready to signal—
—but Hikaru’s Susanoo suddenly manifested fully from the waist down.
He pushed his ocular power even further!
Cells within his body scread as chakra was forced out at a punishing rate. Then, a Susanoo over 30 ters tall stood on the battlefield.
Even Hashirama cells couldn’t completely counter the toll of the third stage of Susanoo.
Strangely, Hikaru didn’t shed blood tears. Instead, Susanoo was rapidly draining his chakra reserves.
From this, Hikaru made a ntal deduction: Madara had been able to manifest Susanoo without eyes because the jutsu consud chakra more than ocular power. Mangekyō-exclusive abilities were the true drain on eyesight.
Enduring the pain, Hikaru looked at Danzo and Hiruzen with contempt.
Chakra surged around him. His long dark hair fluttered in the energy.
"What’s this? Our Hokage plans to forcibly suppress , the Deputy Chief and Chief of the Police Departnt?"
"I know this whole area is crawling with Root and ANBU in ambush."
"But does our Hokage have the balls to try ?"
With that, Hikaru controlled his towering Susanoo and swung the spirit blade toward the hidden Root ninjas.
The massive chakra blade descended with nowhere for the ambushers to run.
"Quick! Use ninjutsu to defend!"
"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"
"Earth Style: Mud Return!"
Over a dozen Earth Release defenses were obliterated like paper before the strike.
More than a dozen Root ninjas were cut down instantly.
Danzo trembled with rage. He’d just lost more than a dozen elite Jōnin-level Root operatives—not disposable Genin or Chūnin. His heart bled.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, who had been ready to issue orders, slowly lowered his hand.
He stared at Hikaru in fear. The dread was spreading.
"That’s enough! Uchiha Hikaru! What do you want?!"
Hiruzen forced himself to shout, gathering what courage he had left.
Hikaru simply swung Susanoo’s blade again, flinging blood from its edge.
"Sarutobi, I don’t want anything to happen."
"I just want you to understand that the Uchiha Police Force operates independently of the Hokage’s regi."
"If you, Hokage, hesitate to kill—then I, the Police, won’t hesitate. Kill first, report later. That’s our power."
"Hokage-sama, do you understand? Just now, a Root ninja tried to assassinate , the Deputy Chief of Police. I killed him on the spot. Do you have any objections, Hokage-sama?"
Hiruzen clenched his fists, trembling—not just with fear, but humiliation. The Hokage had been utterly shown up.
"Fine. Let’s leave it at that. Sorry for disturbing your night. We’ll be going now."
Hiruzen turned around and fled. Danzo, seeing this, followed right behind.
The ANBU under the Hokage, stunned and speechless, quickly scrambled after them.
As for Root... all who had co were dead. The beasts of the Forest of Death would take care of their bodies.
