With the invasion of the Ōtsutsuki clan, the era of peace beca nothing more than a fading mory.
The Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, t a tragic end at the hands of the Ōtsutsuki. Though Sasuke Uchiha narrowly escaped, he was eventually betrayed by a fellow shinobi.
Anyone from the Ōtsutsuki clan who resisted was rcilessly annihilated.
Those who surrendered were enslaved, kept in segregated human districts controlled by the Ōtsutsuki. The entire shinobi world beca nothing more than a colony under their rule.
People were forced to live like machines—day and night, they produced chakra, their lives drained to fuel the greed of their conquerors.
Even the Sage of Six Paths attempted to lead the souls of the Pure Land against the Ōtsutsuki, but the outco was clear from the start—it was hopeless.
After all, he too was a descendant of the Ōtsutsuki. How could he defeat pure-blooded mbers of his own lineage?
The final hope of the shinobi world had once rested with the Sages from the three great summoning realms—Mount Myōboku, Ryūchi Cave, and the Shikkotsu Forest.
But even their half-finished Senjutsu arts, while capable of injuring the Ōtsutsuki, were ultimately no match. One by one, they too were defeated and enslaved.
Watching this from beyond the realm of the living, Indra and Asura, the sons of the Sage of Six Paths, looked upon their powerless father and the devastated world of shinobi—and finally made their decision.
They would risk it all.
In front of a dark wormhole in the void, they stood side by side.
"All distractions must be cast aside," Indra said solemnly. "Only one thought remains: save the shinobi world."
"Asura," Indra continued, his white robes fluttering in the cosmic wind, "do you think there really is another world on the other side of this black hole?"
"I don't know," Asura replied, smiling. "But my instincts say the answer lies beyond. We've died before—what's one more ti?"
Asura looked at his brother's back and suddenly laughed.
"Hahaha! You're right, Ani."
"We're already dead. What's there to be afraid of?"
The silhouettes of Indra and Asura vanished into the dazzling star-filled sky, swallowed by the swirling vortex.
The wormhole's turbulent currents of space and ti tore at their souls and bodies. Their spiritual forms began to disintegrate at a visible rate.
But in that mont, visions began to flood their consciousness—the histories of another world, one entirely unlike their own.
Golden pyramids, mysterious floating gardens, massive temples, colossal statues, tragic mausoleums, legendary towers... a great wall stretching across the land.
Of the four great civilizations that once stood tall, only one remained, unbroken by ti.
"Ani, I can't hold on!" Asura shouted, white flas burning across his soul.
"Search this land," Indra said through clenched teeth. "Their legacy remains intact. The answer must be here!"
Far below, on a blue planet, a country faced its own calamity. A deadly plague was sweeping across its cities, claiming lives by the minute. Souls ascended into the sky in a steady stream.
"Damn it! We're out of ti!" Asura shouted. "Choose quickly or we won't make it back!"
Indra gritted his teeth and shattered his soul into countless fragnts.
"Wait for … hold on just a bit longer."
His soul shards scattered like light, searching the sky for the right vessel. Many faded instantly, consud by the wormhole's fury.
Yet Indra pressed on, scanning the life histories of each soul they encountered.
At last, he found him—a man whose soul, though seventy in age, burned with the vibrancy of youth.
Unlike the others, this soul radiated sothing unique. His spiritual form looked no older than twenty.
Indra couldn't help but grow curious. And then—mories began playing before his eyes.
This man's life… was the embodint of that civilization's resilience.
He's the one.
Suddenly, the soul's eyes opened—and locked onto Indra's face.
"You're... Indra?!"
"Oh my god! This stuff's real! There's really another dinsion?!"
"Hurry up! Take with you—so all that stuff in ani and novels was true after all?!"
Indra was montarily stunned. But there was no ti for hesitation.
This man—who had lived seventy years and still held the mind of a wild twenty-sothing—wanted to go to the shinobi world?
In the very last mont, the soul was bound and pulled through.
Above the world, Ashura stared at what remained of Indra's soul—and then at the boy they'd found.
Indra's fading spiritual form hovered before the young man.
"…How are you even conscious? You shouldn't be awake yet."
The boy simply scratched his head, shrugging.
"Maybe my soul's just built different. This isn't my first ti traveling, you know?"
"I failed a breakthrough in another world, landed in this one, thought I was finally dead—but then I ended up here instead. Lucky ."
"Jeez…"
Indra and Ashura exchanged a long, stunned silence.
There were other worlds out there?
Eventually, the brothers laid out their plan.
They hoped the young man would take on their will and find a new way to save the shinobi world.
The boy simply waved them off, cheerful as ever.
"Don't worry! As a proper young man from the Fire Nation, helping people is just what I do."
"Plus, you helped ti travel again. That's worth sothing."
"But… why not do it yourselves?"
Asura sighed.
"What's done is done. If we return to the past in full, we'll lose all of our current mories and power. Our souls would overwrite our forr selves and vanish."
"That's why we need soone who wasn't ant to exist here."
The boy clapped his hands, grinning ear to ear.
"No problem!"
"My mories might go dormant for a while, but my soul will remain unchanged, right?"
Indra nodded.
"You'll still be yourself. That won't change."
Then the boy's eyes lit up with mischief.
"Well then, since I'm a ti traveler now… I need so golden fingers!"
"Co on, you two—help install a system! Like this… and this...!"
...
After a lengthy explanation, Indra and Ashura stared at him, speechless.
"…You're sure this thod will make you more motivated to get stronger?"
The boy nodded enthusiastically, eyes gleaming.
"Absolutely!"
"No man can resist a cheat system!"
...
In the 42nd year of the Hidden Leaf calendar, a child was born into the Uchiha Clan.
His na was Uchiha Hikaru.
In the instant before his mory of his past life was sealed, he scread internally:
"Shinobi world, here I co! Damn you, Reiner!"
...
...
The protagonist's mory wasn't lost—it will return during the finale.
He didn't reincarnate into anyone else, either.
He simply inherited the pure chakra of Indra and Asura.
So—have you figured out the protagonist's identity yet?
