Orochimaru crossed his hands, biting down on both thumbs before slamming his palms onto the ground.
"BOOM!!"
A vast cloud of white smoke erupted.
The massive purple serpent Orochimaru had summoned earlier reappeared.
"Orochimaru! You haven't given the hundred sacrifices from last ti!"
Manda turned its enormous head toward Orochimaru.
"No matter what you want to do this ti, I'm charging you a thousand sacrifices!"
"Hehehe… I know." Orochimaru didn't argue. His long tongue slid across his lips as he pointed toward Naruto.
"This ti, the enemies are those little brats—and one traitor. Isn't that right, Guren?"
He turned a cold stare toward Guren.
Her whole body trembled as she looked fearfully toward the blond youth standing ahead.
Naruto, on the other hand, lit up at the sight of the giant serpent. He licked his lips and gulped.
"In the world of shinobi, it's rare to find such a big catch…"
Hearing this, Manda beca furious.
Normally, it treated humans as food, but now this little brat dared to think of it as a al…
WHIP!
With a roar, Manda lashed its tail and lunged to bite Naruto.
Naruto noticed the serpent's two venomous fangs dripping with purple poison and smirked.
"Before eating, we gotta pull out those venomous teeth. Even if you cook the at well, the poison ruins the flavor."
In a flash, Naruto stepped forward—his movent almost like teleportation—and appeared right in front of Manda.
"What!?"
Orochimaru's pupils contracted.
"Shunshin no Jutsu? No… that footwork… it's taijutsu infused with chakra—nintaijutsu!"
As Orochimaru reeled in shock, Naruto clenched his fist, covering it in Busoshoku Haki (Armant Haki), and delivered a powerful punch right into Manda's fang.
"CRACK!"
A crisp shattering sound echoed.
Manda shrieked in pain, thrashing and rolling across the ground.
"ROAR! AAAAAGGHH! I'LL EAT YOU ALIVE!!!"
Its broken fang clattered to the floor, still oozing purple venom that sizzled upon contact with the ground.
Not giving Manda a chance to close its mouth, Naruto stepped again—this ti leaping skyward.
Orochimaru's shock deepened.
"Again with taijutsu!? Using recoil to launch into the air… and even running mid-air!? Is he from Kumogakure?"
"BAM!"
Naruto dropped another punch.
The remaining fang shattered as Manda's head slamd into the ground, howling curses.
"OROCHIMARU!! I'LL KILL YOU! THIS TI I WANT TEN THOUSAND SACRIFICES—OR I'LL EAT YOU WHOLE!!"
But deep down, fear began to swell within the giant snake, and it instinctively tried to retreat.
Naruto noticed instantly and smiled brilliantly.
He placed his right hand in mid-air above Manda's head.
"Kūkimon!" (Air Gate)
A semi-transparent door opened in the air.
Half of Manda's head was swallowed into the space beyond.
Just as Manda prepared to end the summoning, Naruto slamd the gate shut.
"CLANG!"
The collision of spatial forces locked Manda in place, cutting off its escape.
The shinobi of Otogakure were already stunned speechless, staring at the frenzied serpent.
"No way… What level of ninja is this? He's way too strong!"
"Could he be an elite jōnin?"
"That serpent couldn't beat him—this guy's a total monster!"
Those who knew Orochimaru's identity were even more shaken.
"Even with Orochimaru-sama back, this intruder hasn't been defeated…"
"Even Manda-sama is losing…"
"Is he a jōnin from Konoha!? Did he co here just to capture Orochimaru-sama?"
As the shinobi trembled, Orochimaru's expression turned grim.
"Who… the hell is this guy!?"
Despite having information networks spanning the entire ninja world, Orochimaru had never heard of such a monster.
Those blazing flas… the spatial gates… the astonishing taijutsu…
None of it matched any technique he had ever seen.
His dream was to collect every jutsu in existence.
Though still far from realizing that dream, he had already collected nearly every fundantal jutsu in the ninja world.
Even those he didn't possess, he at least knew of.
But these abilities Naruto wielded?
Orochimaru had never even heard of them.
Still, with his summoned beast about to die, Orochimaru had no ti to ponder.
He quickly ford hand seals:
"Fūton: Kazekiri no Jutsu!" (Wind Style: Wind Cutter Technique)
A violent gust tore through the air, filled with razor-sharp wind blades that flew at Naruto.
"CLANG CLANG CLANG…!"
The screech of tal echoed.
Orochimaru's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw Naruto's skin—completely unhard.
"He… he took it head-on with just his body!?"
Otogakure's shinobi gasped.
"Is this guy a monster!? That was Orochimaru-sama's jutsu!"
"His skin… is it harder than steel!?"
"No—look! Even his clothes are intact!"
"We're done for! Even Orochimaru-sama can't beat him… what happens to us!?"
At that mont, with a light push—
Naruto slamd the Air Gate shut.
Manda's massive body was sliced clean in half.
From the severed trunk, a fountain of blood sprayed across the ground, painting everything crimson.
Just as Manda's life force faded, its lower half vanished in a puff of smoke.
"Huh…" Naruto looked down at the blood-soaked floor in disappointnt.
"Didn't expect a dead summon to return to the summoning realm too…"
Still, he looked toward the space behind the gate and smiled slightly.
Manda's upper half remained.
At least he got that part.
Orochimaru, upon seeing his old companion die, turned ice-cold.
His voice trembled with rage:
"You… bastard…"
