"Heh-heh-heh, Namikaze nma…" Orochimaru licked his lips, eyes feverish as he stared at the blond youth.
"Where did you find that whole group of monsters? They're not lab products, are they? They're a brand-new race outside of humanity. Where are they from? So islands near the Land of Water, or lands beyond this continent—can you tell ?"
"You didn't answer a single thing, and instead you asked a pile of questions…" Naruto shook his head slightly and casually tossed the severed head in his hand.
"Even if you team up with Konoha, it doesn't matter…"
Law's eyes widened in surprise. He couldn't help saying, "Naruto-sama, um… are we just letting him go?"
"His na is Orochimaru," Naruto said evenly. "Around here he's fad as the hardest one to kill. Don't let that decapitation fool you—he's a long way from dead."
Law didn't buy it. Blade in hand, he strode toward Orochimaru's head.
But before the edge could fall, the separated head suddenly opened its mouth and countless venomous snakes poured out. As Law cut down most of the serpents, a tiny white snake abruptly spat out Orochimaru's full body.
"Heh-heh-heh… Naruto-sama?" Orochimaru looked at Naruto with interest.
"So that's your real na!?"
Before Law could attack again, Orochimaru bolted at high speed into the distance.
"That guy…" Law watched the fleeing back, a hint of dread rising in his chest.
"His ability is way too bizarre—almost like true immortality. So this is what shinobi from Naruto's hotown are like!?"
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!"
In Konoha's training grounds, Hiruzen's face was dark as he perford Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique) yet again. He'd already tried seven or eight tis, and each ti it failed—as if the summoned beasts were being spirit-bound.
But this ti was different. White smoke exploded, and the massive Gamabunta appeared.
"Uuurggh!"
Gamabunta retched violently, and Jiraiya, Shikaku, Choza, and Hiashi were vomited out like so much half-digested refuse—slid head to toe, with a few writhing bugs that had been swallowed still squirming on them.
Clutching his belly in pain, Gamabunta bellowed, "Damn you, Jiraiya—don't summon for a while! I'm going back to Mount Myoboku to recuperate. And you humans—go take a bath already…!"
With a poof, Gamabunta vanished.
The commotion quickly drew Konoha shinobi. They stared, dumbfounded, at the sli-soaked group.
"Clan Head Hiashi, what happened to you?"
"And Choza—this is Choza, right? Why do you look like a ball of jutsu residue…?"
"And Shikaku, who punched your face? Your eye sockets are swollen and your nose is bent…"
Konoha shinobi babbled questions over one another. In their impression, Jiraiya had been gone no more than twenty minutes. How had they ended up beaten into such miserable states?
"Orochimaru…" Hiruzen's first thought was him, but his brows quickly knit.
"No, that doesn't make sense. If it were him, why would he beat them like this and then send them back? And I've never heard of him being a taijutsu specialist…"
"Cough, cough, cough…" Shikaku spat a mouthful of frog stomach juices, dry-heaved a few tis, and finally managed, hoarsely,
"Jiraiya-sama, why didn't you have that toad keep us in his mouth?"
Jiraiya coughed. "Too many people. So he swallowed you into his belly. Good thing you hadn't been digested yet."
By now Choza and Hiashi had also recovered sowhat—and also vomited copious toad mucus.
"That damned frog—why were there so many bugs in its stomach? I swallowed seven or eight of them—ugh, ugh…"
"I got a mouthful of stomach acid…"
Jiraiya's mouth twitched. He hurriedly turned to Hiruzen, his face turning grave as he said in a low voice,
"Hiruzen-sensei, I took them to probe those 'monsters' just now. They're strong. Every one of them is a taijutsu (Taijutsu) powerhouse. In my view, their mastery is no less than Guy's—and their raw strength is dozens of tis higher. Especially that giant—their power is terrifying…"

"Hold it, Jiraiya!" Hiruzen frowned at him.
"Have you still not co to your senses?"
He still didn't want to believe Jiraiya. How could anything so absurd be true?
"It's true, Hokage-sama," Shikaku said solemnly to Hiruzen. "Jiraiya-sama isn't lying. We clashed with those monsters. They're real."
Hiruzen looked surprised—he hadn't expected Shikaku to say the sa.
Choza added, "Hokage-sama, that giant is definitely real—over twenty ters tall. I was nearly killed even after using Baika no Jutsu (Expansion Jutsu)…"
As he spoke, he showed Hiruzen the bruises and dents covering his body—each crater punched in by the giant pirate's fists.
Hiruzen's expression turned unsettled.
If it were just Jiraiya, he'd dismiss it; but Shikaku and Choza both corroborated it. He turned to the most battered of them all—Hiashi, who was swollen beyond recognition.
"Clan Head Hiashi, is what they're saying true?"
Hiashi's face was puffed up like a loaf of bread. He forced his mouth open and mumbled through swelling,
"Y-Yes… it's true. Those monsters almost killed …"
Hearing even Hiashi say so, Hiruzen sucked in a cold breath for the first ti, realizing the situation was grim.
"So it's real!?"
Others might be trapped by genjutsu (Illusion Technique), but the Byakugan (White Eye) of the Hyuga grants strong resistance to illusions. If even he affird it, then what they saw truly existed.
"Giants, fish-n, little people, multi-ard folk…" Hiruzen muttered, expression turning exceedingly grave.
"Summon all shinobi and prepare for battle. Jiraiya, tell about their combat ability—every detail."
Jiraiya nodded, then added,
"Hiruzen-sensei, have you ever heard of any powerful shinobi in our world nad Naruto?"
