It wasn't surprising that Marco was so uneasy and panicked.
For him, he had never seen such bizarre abilities.
In his previous battles, enemies would either use Devil Fruit abilities, swordsmanship, Haki, or taijutsu… all straightforward and direct.
But these ninjas' abilities were each stranger than the last, making them impossible to guard against.
"However, Haki should be able to counter them…" Marco thought to himself, deciding to continue fighting for now.
After all, Fishman Island was under Whitebeard's protection.
If he retreated without even fighting a single round, it would be too humiliating.
The battle continued. Marco clenched his teeth and unleashed his strongest phoenix flas while keeping his guard up against Naruto.
"Katōn: Karyū Endan!" (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Fla Bullet)
"Suiton: Suiryūdan!" (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet)
"Raiton: Jibashi!" (Lightning Release: Earth Flash)
"Fūton: Daitoppa!" (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough)
"Genjutsu: Naraku Mii no Jutsu!" (Genjutsu: Hell Viewing Technique)
Uchiha Shisui's figure flickered rapidly, using one ninjutsu after another.
In the original, Kakashi copied over a thousand ninjutsu, but for the Uchiha clan, that was just basic operation.
Any ninja possessing the three tomoe Sharingan could easily master hundreds of jutsu.
Marco was beaten so badly he was nearly seeing heaven, his face darkening as he glared at Shisui.
His punches and kicks shook Ryugu Palace to its foundations.
"This guy…" sweat ran down Shisui's forehead. "His strength is too great… feels even stronger than nma-dono…"
"Does his stamina never run out?"
He had fought taijutsu-type ninjas before, like Maito Gai, but even Gai's strength wasn't half of Marco's.
His stamina was also monstrous. After fighting for so long, Marco showed no sign of tiring.
Naruto watched for a while and suddenly spoke:
"Alright, Shisui, co back for now."
He could see it clearly. Shisui seed to be evenly matched with Marco, but in reality, he was already being pushed into a disadvantage.
After all, ninja abilities were instant-kill types, ant to end fights quickly.
If one failed to suppress an enemy in the first strike, then the opponent's stamina would beco overwhelming.
Moreover, despite fighting for so long, Marco appeared battered but hadn't suffered a single real injury.
anwhile, if Shisui got hit even once, with Marco's strength, it would be fatal or severely injuring.
Hearing this, Shisui breathed a sigh of relief and quickly retreated, saying,
"nma-dono, I'm sorry. I'm still too weak right now."
"It's not your fault," Naruto shook his head. "You don't have Mangekyou Sharingan yet, and your physical strength simply can't match his."
"But don't worry," Naruto smiled. "As long as you stay here for a while, your physical abilities will improve too."
Seeing Shisui retreat, Marco narrowed his eyes slightly.
He spread his blue phoenix flas wings, his entire body burning with blue and yellow flas, charging towards Naruto like an immortal phoenix.
"Uzumaki Naruto, just how much stronger are you compared to him!?"
"Trying to die, huh!"
The ninja behind Naruto's expression changed drastically, glaring angrily at Marco.
Robin was the first to cross her arms:
"Jūrin Hana Kai" (Ten Wheels Blooming Flowers)
Ten ethereal arms appeared out of thin air on Marco's body, covered in Armant Haki.
But before her arms could attack, Uchiha Izumi moved first, her scarlet Mangekyou Sharingan spinning as she locked onto Marco:
"Amaterasu!"
The girl's beautiful Mangekyou spun.
In the next instant, amidst Marco's blue flas, a black fla ignited out of nowhere.
"Kagutsuchi!"
She used another Mangekyou technique.
That wisp of black fla exploded instantly, its roaring blaze engulfing almost Marco's entire body.
"Uaaaagh!!!"
Marco let out a scream of agony, staring at the black flas burning on his body in shock:
"What is this… it ignited my phoenix flas…"
The black fire burned alongside his own.
His skin burned with both the blue and black flas, his body being destroyed and regenerated continuously.
Even with his immortality, pain coursed through his entire being.
Robin and Nami were both shocked, looking at the Uchiha girl behind Naruto in disbelief.
She looked even younger than them, yet her power was overwhelming.
"As expected of nma-dono's subordinate…"
Both Nami and Robin felt awe in their hearts.
anwhile, Neptune was drenched in cold sweat:
"How… how can this be… Uzumaki Naruto hasn't even made a move, and just his subordinates defeated Marco. Does this man possess power comparable to the Yonkou?!"
"Uaaaagh!!!"
Marco roared as his entire body was coated in Armant Haki, forcibly resisting Amaterasu's burning.
Taking advantage of this, he turned and tried to flee from Ryugu Palace.
"I can't fight them anymore… I have to leave quickly… if Oyaji plans to fight the Marines, he can't afford to lose …"
Marco clenched his teeth, flying desperately into the distance.
But before he could escape Ryugu Palace, four golden chains shot towards him.
They moved with extre speed, weaving into a golden net that fell from the sky, enveloping him entirely.
As Marco tried to force his way out, his consciousness blurred again.
"Not good, it's that Genjutsu from before…"
He hurriedly activated his Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki).
But that brief delay was enough for the golden chains to wrap tightly around him, dragging him out of the sky.
Boom!
His chained body slamd into the ground.
"Ugh…" Marco grunted painfully, then widened his eyes in shock:
"Seastone chains!? No… that's not it… I don't feel weakened, only that my Devil Fruit powers are sealed…"
He could still use Armant Haki to resist the black flas, but his blue phoenix fire was clearly diminishing.
"Kongou Fūsoku (Adamantine Sealing Chains) doesn't work as well on abilities besides Logia types, huh…" Naruto thought, then said to Izumi:
"Izumi, extinguish the flas."
"Yes," Izumi nodded respectfully. Her Mangekyou spun slightly, and the black flas burning Marco disappeared instantly.
Marco finally sighed in relief, looking at Naruto with a bitter smile:
"I surrender… can you let go now?"
"That's not happening," Naruto smiled back.
"Isn't Fishman Island protected by your Whitebeard Pirates? Since you're here and you have a grudge against … let's have a good talk, shall we?"
