"It seems like your escorting mission to the Land of Grass went smoothly."
Orochimaru looked at Feng with a faint smile on his face.
He was assigned by Sarutobi Hiruzen to be the head of the advance force towards the Land of Grass long ago and was originally planning on bringing Feng along but after looking for him, he found out that Feng was already doing a mission.
Orochimaru thought that when they arrived there he would encounter him, but he didn't expect that Feng would be already back today and was even assigned to the advance force by Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Of course.
This is not the one that attracted Orochimaru's attention.
What really caught his attention was that Feng's temperant was different from the last ti they t!
Previously, Feng was a more cautious and vigilant individual. Although you can see his confidence, that confidence was so restrained that you wouldn't even notice it.
However, the current Feng has changed trendously and was excluding self confidence from top to bottom.
There was no doubt.
If Feng's mission to the Land of Grass failed, his temperant wouldn't change like this, so the only possibility was that Feng not only completed their task, but they also must've encountered an accident but they've dealt with it smoothly.
This is the only way that an individual can change in the shortest ti possible from being cautious, restrained, and careful to exuding vitality and self-confidence.
"Yes."
Feng nodded and said, "Although we encountered an accident, we dealt with it."
Hearing Feng's response, Orochimaru showed a gaze as if knowing, as he snickered and said, "Let's hear it."
He wanted to know what kind of accident would make Feng this disciple of his to change his entire character.
But as Feng was about to explain further, a figure ran inside from the door, his steps were still a bit chaotic as you can notice that he should've ran here, it was none other than Might Dai.
"Sorry everyone, I'm sorry I'm late..."
Might Dai scratched the back of his head as he smiled awkwardly, then walked up to Orochimaru and he saluted: "Lord Orochimaru! Might Dai reporting for duty! I was assigned by Lord Hokage to join the advance force..."
Orochimaru looked away from Feng, and his gaze fell on Might Dai then a strange glint flashed in his eyes.
He wouldn't mind about Feng, after all he is his disciple and an astounding ninja, but this ninja called Might Dai that's standing in front of him, just based on his extrely clumsy movents, how can his master assign him to be with the advance force?
This advance force that was led by him is going to the border to confront the Hidden Rock Village!
Everyone here is an elite. Just the amount of Jonin totaled sixteen people, six of which is in the Upper Jonin level, the rest sixty people are all elite Chunins.
'Could it be that he's in disguise?'
'Is he pretending to be weak?'
A trace of doubt flashed in Orochimaru.
Teacher wouldn't randomly send people, which ans that this Might Dai should have sothing in him that made him qualified to join the advance force.
While Orochimaru was still lost in his thoughts, so of the ninjas who noticed Might Dai couldn't help but blurt out.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing here Dai? You're not qualified to be here!"
"Just because you can't find a team that's willing to accept you, do you think you can just barge and easily join our advance force? Are you an idiot? You should be punished for doing this kind of thing!"
Among the ninjas present, so of them are people who have been implicated by Might Dai, so they couldn't help but be annoyed the instant they saw him.
The advance troops are to be sent to the Land of Grass to be the vanguard for the war against Hidden Rock VIllage!

Might Dai also noticed that so people in the crowd are his past captains and teammates, because they pitted him, they took him in, however because of him they also failed their missions, which made him a little embarrassed, and couldn't help but scratch his head.
"Ah, this... I ca here because I received the order from Lord Hokage after being promoted to Jonin."
"Bullshit!"
Morino Ibiki frowned and said, "How can Lord Hokage include you in the advance force? And you? A Jonin? I wouldn't show you any rcy if you continue to ss around!"
Jonin?
Orochimaru tilted his head slightly, watching Might Dai strangely.
Might Dai coughed, as he straightened his back and said, "Well, I'm not forcing you to believe ."
"...enough!"
Morino Ibiki finally couldn't bear it, and walked out of the crowd with an annoyed look. He was planning to throw out Might Dai that continued to play with his nonsense.
Orochimaru squinted his eyes and just continued to watch this turn of events, he had no intention of stopping or interfering. He wanted to see what Might Dai's response is and to see if he's indeed telling the truth or was just looking for trouble.
However.
Just as Morino Ibiki arrived at Might Dai, a voice suddenly sounded out.
"Senior Dai was indeed promoted, I can testify to this."
The voice made Morino Ibiki along with the rest stunned. When they looked at who it was, they found out that it was Feng who was standing right next to Orochimaru, which made Ibiki frown.
Forget about Might Dai.
He even has doubts about Feng joining the advance force!
He indeed heard the news of Feng's early graduation from the academy, then imdiate participation in the Chunin examination. Sure he passed them, but he's still too young!
No matter how talented he was, Feng who's still just a kid has no sufficient experience. It is difficult for him to understand that not just anyone can join the advance force.
But having said that, Feng is still a Chunin so he could at least barely accept him.
But who the hell is Might Dai?!
Why would a horrible ninja who's extrely weak and would just be an extra baggage be assigned to join the advance force against Hidden Rock? He doesn't think that Sarutobi would make such a grave error!
"Hey, kid, don't talk nonsense if you don't know the situation... Do you know how bad this guy is? It's impossible that Lord Hokage allowed him to join the advance force!"
Morino Ibiki spoke to Feng in a deep voice.
A faint smile hung on Feng's face, and said, "I didn't lie. Senior Dai was indeed promoted, and at the Upper Jonin at that... Senior, did you bring the instruction manual?"
"Oh right! I almost forgot!"
Hearing Feng's words, Might Dai reacted instantly and touched his pocket as he took out a stamped instruction manual.
Morino Ibiki watched this scene in a daze.
Orochimaru raised his brows slightly, and took the instruction manual handed over by Might Dai. After a cursory glance, his pair of snake pupils suddenly shrank slightly, as he took a glance at Might Dai seriously.
"So that's it..."
After blinking his eyes a few tis, he made a decision and put away the instruction book: "Might Dai, since you and Feng aren't assigned to any teams, for the ti being both of you will follow ."
Might Dai took a deep breath and said, "Understood."
Morino Ibiki looked at this scene in bewildernt and he couldn't help looking at Orochimaru and said: "Lord Orochimaru this..."
"You'll find out in the future."
Orochimaru said to Ibiki then took a deep look at Might Dai again.
After receiving such a response from Orochimaru, Morino Ibiki and the others looked dumbfounded for a while and just stared at Might Dai beside Feng.
What the hell?
Did Might Dai really beco an Upper Jonin?!
Those familiar with Might Dai showed so strange gazes.
Orochimaru didn't utter a comnt after reading the manual, which ans that what's written inside is a legitimate docunt! It was indeed issued personally by the Third Hokage, but they really couldn't understand the situation.
They were just adjusting and preparing their ntality to go onto the battlefield then suddenly a kid and the 'Eternal Genin' was suddenly assigned to join them. All their efforts to be calm and ready suddenly collapsed.
Just one burden is already too much, but now they'll have two?!
This is really dangerous!
