It had been over ten days since the news of Shimura Daisuke's death reached Konoha. As the head of the Shimura family, one of Konoha's prominent clans, his demise had caused quite a stir. He was the highest-ranking individual to have fallen at the hands of the mysterious Wood Release Kekkei Genkai ninja.

At first, his death was the talk of the village, dominating conversations in every corner of Konoha. However, as ti passed, the initial uproar began to fade. People, as they always do, moved on. Though so still ntioned his death occasionally, the fervor surrounding it had dwindled significantly.

After Shimura Daisuke's body was ceremonially buried, it was discreetly dealt with by agents loyal to Uchiha Fugaku. This ensured that there would be no possibility of the body being used for the *Impure World Reincarnation* technique.

In the backyard of the Uchiha mansion, Uchiha Sasuke was diligently practicing his taijutsu. His small fra moved with determination, mimicking the techniques taught to him.

Nearby, Uchiha Fugaku, wearing weighted gear, practiced his own taijutsu. Sweat dripped from his brow as he pushed his body to its limits.

Since the death of Shimura Daisuke, Fugaku had not taken further action against the allies of the Shimura family. It was not for a lack of intent but rather a lack of opportunity.

Those family heads who had aligned themselves with the Shimura family and worked against the Uchiha clan had all beco cautious. They stayed within the confines of Konoha, refusing to leave the safety of the village.

"It seems Danzo has beco more vigilant," Fugaku thought as he practiced, his movents precise despite the heavy weights.

Danzo Shimura, as the leader of the Root, was no fool. He had likely pieced together that the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai ninja was targeting his faction. It wouldn't be surprising if Danzo had advised those aligned with him to avoid leaving Konoha for the ti being.

Fugaku clenched his fists mid-strike, contemplating his options.

"I've already mastered the *Art of Disguise*. If I were to use it, I could eliminate these individuals even within the village itself. But…"

While assassination was within his capability, escaping undetected afterward was another matter entirely. If the target didn't raise an alarm, the disguise technique could allow him to slip away unnoticed. However, if his actions caused a commotion, the repercussions would be severe.

Without access to spatial techniques like Uchiha Obito's *Kamui*, Fugaku knew that retreating safely in such a scenario would be almost impossible.

"It would be even harder to assassinate soone like Danzo Shimura silently," he mused.

Danzo, who likely had both transplanted Hashirama's cells and Sharingan, was undoubtedly a Kage-level opponent. A direct assassination attempt would alert not only the elite Root operatives but also Konoha's upper echelon.

Even Fugaku, with all his power, knew the risks were too high.

"While Shimura Danzo is out of the question for now, the heads of his allied clans are fair ga," Fugaku resolved, his eyes gleaming with murderous intent.

Drenched in sweat, Fugaku stopped his training. Noticing this, Sasuke also halted his practice and approached his father with a small towel in hand.

Fugaku smiled warmly as he took the towel, wiping his face as he praised his son's diligence. But his attention was soon drawn to an approaching figure.

It was a mber of the Uchiha clan, his gait steady and purposeful. The man stopped before Fugaku and respectfully handed him a sealed scroll.

"Patriarch," the man said with a deep bow.

Fugaku nodded, accepting the scroll without a word. He tucked it away and left the backyard, heading to the privacy of his study. Once inside, he activated the seals on the scroll and unfurled it.

The ssage was from Uchiha Satoshi, an elite jonin personally loyal to Fugaku. Satoshi had played a key role in eliminating several Shimura clan mbers and was now tasked with a covert mission in the Land of Water. His assignnt was to monitor the situation in the Hidden Mist Village.

Fugaku's eyes scanned the scroll's contents carefully. His expression shifted to one of satisfaction.

"The Mizukage has shown signs of preparing to move against the Kekkei Genkai families of the Hidden Mist Village," the scroll read.

A faint smile tugged at Fugaku's lips.

He knew that the Hidden Mist Village was under Uchiha Obito's control, and Obito's plans included purging the bloodline limit clans. This chaotic environnt presented Fugaku with a golden opportunity to act.

"If I strike during the purge, I can seize the corpses of those with Kekkei Genkai and use them to strengthen my own abilities," Fugaku thought, his mind racing with the possibilities.

This was the mont he had been waiting for. The chaos in the Hidden Mist Village provided the perfect cover for him to infiltrate and acquire the corpses he needed for *Corpse lting*.

Burning the scroll to ash, Fugaku rose from his chair.

"It seems I must delay any further action against the Shimura allies," he decided.

The potential gains from the Land of Water far outweighed the benefits of targeting Konoha's internal factions at this ti. He needed to act swiftly and reach the Hidden Mist Village before the opportunity slipped away.

"Wood Release isn't the only Kekkei Genkai that can be strengthened by rging similar bloodlines. The sa principle should apply to other Kekkei Genkai as well."

Fugaku's strategy had shifted. Rather than collecting individual samples from various bloodlines, his new goal was to obtain multiple samples of the sa Kekkei Genkai to amplify its power.

His thoughts briefly turned to the Uchiha clan's own Kekkei Genkai. If rging similar bloodlines worked for other clans, could it also apply to the Sharingan?

Currently, Fugaku's Mangekyō Sharingan was powerful, but to evolve it into the *Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan*, he would require the eyes of a close blood relative.

His thoughts turned to Uchiha Itachi.

As Fugaku's son, Itachi's eyes were the perfect candidate. With Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan, Fugaku could achieve the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and push his power to new heights.

"Will this sa principle work for the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan? Could increasing the bloodline's strength be an alternative path to evolution?" Fugaku wondered.

He recalled Indra, the eldest son of the Sage of Six Paths. Indra's Sharingan had never suffered blindness, unlike the Mangekyō Sharingan of later generations. Fugaku theorized that Indra's exceptional bloodline strength made his Sharingan inherently eternal.

"If strengthening the bloodline can directly lead to the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, then Itachi's eyes could be reserved for Sasuke. That way, Sasuke can also awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."

Fugaku considered Sasuke's future potential. If Sasuke could awaken the Rinnegan as he had in the alternate tiline of Fugaku's mories, his son would beco an indispensable asset.

For now, Fugaku had his path laid out before him. First, he would head to the Land of Water and seize the bodies of the Kekkei Genkai users. Then, he would focus on the future of his clan, ensuring that both he and Sasuke reached their full potential.
