Uchiha Fugaku and his group of three set out, moving away from the village and heading toward the Daimyo Prefecture.
A few hours later, they were far from Konoha.
There were no villages or towns within sight, only an endless forest stretching in every direction.
"Here it cos!"
Suddenly, Uchiha Fugaku's expression changed slightly as he whispered a warning to Uchiha Shiro and Uchiha Hoshi.
Almost at the sa ti, several figures approached at an incredible speed.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
In re monts, they closed in, surrounding them from all sides.
Seven individuals wearing Anbu uniforms and masks stood in position, exuding a cold and formidable aura.
It was clear that these were Konoha's Anbu operatives.
Uchiha Fugaku's sharp gaze swept across the seven figures before settling on a man slightly shorter than the others, carrying a katana on his back.
Judging by his stature and chakra signature, there was no doubt—this was Uchiha Shisui.
The plan had worked. Uchiha Shisui had taken the bait!
"Shisui, it's really you!"
Before Uchiha Fugaku could speak, Uchiha Hoshi had already recognized him, his voice filled with shock and disappointnt.
Just as the clan leader predicted, Uchiha Shisui had appeared!
His heart sank further. It seed more likely now that Uchiha Shisui truly had sided with the Third Hokage.
"Hoshi, I didn't expect to see you here."
Removing his mask, Uchiha Shisui revealed his face, his tone laced with mixed emotions.
"Shisui, what do you an by surrounding us with Anbu?"
Uchiha Fugaku asked coldly.
He wasn't surprised that Uchiha Shisui had a new right eye. The Third Hokage and Shimura Danzo both had access to stolen Uchiha eyes.
"Clan Leader, I am here to stop you!"
Shisui declared with unwavering determination.
"Stop ? From what?"
"From controlling the Daimyo."
Shisui stated firmly.
"What a vivid imagination!"
Uchiha Fugaku chuckled, shaking his head.
"I simply accepted an invitation to the Daimyo Prefecture, and you assu I'm trying to seize control of the Daimyo?"
"There's no need to deny it, Clan Leader. Hokage-sama already knows your true objective—to control the Daimyo and launch a coup."
Shisui's gaze was resolute, as if he had unraveled so great conspiracy.
"Give up, Clan Leader. If you go through with this, you will plunge Konoha into chaos and destroy the peace we have fought so hard to maintain."
"Controlling the Daimyo? Launching a coup? You're completely delusional."
Uchiha Fugaku sneered.
"I have no intention of launching a coup. But even if I did, it would be because the Third Hokage has left the Uchiha clan with no other choice."
"It is not the Uchiha clan that has been disrupting Konoha's peace, but the Third Hokage himself!"
"Clan Leader, you misunderstand Hokage-sama. Everything he has done is to protect the village!"
Shisui argued.
"Fool. Have you not seen how the Third Hokage has systematically suppressed the Uchiha clan for years?"
Fugaku scoffed.
"What good is your Mangekyō Sharingan if you refuse to see the truth?"
"That was not Hokage-sama's doing! It was all Danzo. He feared the Uchiha clan's power and acted on his own!"
Shisui insisted.
"Danzo was just a convenient scapegoat. The true mastermind has always been the Third Hokage."
Uchiha Fugaku said coldly.
Hiruzen Sarutobi had played the long ga well. By letting Danzo take all the bla, he had effectively concealed his own involvent.
Now that Danzo was dead, the truth was buried with him.
"Clan Leader, your misunderstanding runs too deep."
Shisui sighed in frustration.
"No. It's you who blindly trusts the Third Hokage. He has brainwashed you so completely that you've lost the ability to think for yourself."
Uchiha Fugaku countered.
Shisui's expression hardened.
"Then you still refuse to give up?"
"Give up what? The Uchiha clan's rightful place in this village?"
Fugaku's eyes were sharp as blades.
If the Uchiha clan did not resist, they would be slowly erased from history.
Realizing that Fugaku was unwavering, Shisui's face filled with regret.
"Clan Leader... I'm sorry."
To him, Uchiha Fugaku's actions threatened the peace of Konoha.
If war erupted, the balance they had worked so hard to maintain would collapse.
He had to stop the Clan Leader—no matter what.
"You traitor!"
Uchiha Shiro seethed with fury, glaring at Shisui with disgust.
"Shisui, you disgust ! You've turned your back on your own clan and sided with the Hokage!"
Uchiha Hoshi's voice was hoarse with rage.
He had once admired Shisui, but now, all he saw was a traitor who had betrayed his own people.
"I'm sorry, Hoshi. But to protect peace, I will do whatever it takes, even if it ans opposing my own clan."
Shisui's gaze was firm, filled with unwavering conviction.
Then, he turned to the Anbu around him.
"Leave Uchiha Fugaku to . The other two are not to be hard."
With that command, the seven Anbu sprang into action.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Shisui lunged at Fugaku, while the others surrounded Uchiha Hoshi and Uchiha Shiro.
Swoosh!
In an instant, Shisui blurred into a streak of movent, his katana slicing toward Uchiha Fugaku.
Clang!
Fugaku drew his kunai and intercepted the strike.
Ding, ding, ding!
Blades clashed in rapid succession, moving so fast that even seasoned warriors would struggle to follow.
Swoosh!
Amidst the frenzied battle, Shisui's right eye spun into a three-tomoe Sharingan.
His left eye, however, shifted into its true form—a Mangekyō Sharingan with a four-leaf windmill pattern.
"Kotoamatsukami!"
The Mangekyō rotated, activating its most powerful genjutsu.
Unlike ordinary illusions, Kotoamatsukami did not require direct eye contact.
A formless force invaded Uchiha Fugaku's mind.
Ever since Fugaku traveled through ti, a kind of eye technique that he was extrely afraid of attacked him.
