Half an hour later.
Whoosh—
On a street, Uchiha Huang, disguised as a passerby, suddenly drew a kunai and lunged at a pale, skinny beggar sitting nearby.
The beggar's expression shifted drastically, his reaction far quicker than expected for soone in such a frail state. He rolled sideways to dodge the attack.
Swoosh—
Huang's eyes spun into three-tomoe Sharingan, capturing the beggar's every movent. Huang sidestepped and intercepted the direction of the roll, thrusting the kunai forward.
Puff—
The beggar practically fell onto the kunai, which pierced deep into his chest. Blood spurted out as his body slumped lifelessly to the ground. The transformation jutsu faded, revealing a man in black.
Nearby, Uchiha Atsuko, disguised as an ordinary peasant woman, turned her eyes into three-tomoe Sharingan. She locked eyes with a man sitting in a shop, triggering her genjutsu.
The illusion activated instantly.
Puff, puff, puff—
Giant tal spikes materialized within the man's mind, pinning his body and rendering him immobile. Paralyzed by the pain, he could only watch in horror as Atsuko stepped forward and slashed his throat with her kunai.
Elsewhere, another Uchiha clan mber, disguised as an old man, swiftly ford hand seals and unleashed a fire-style jutsu.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Claw Red!"
Flas wrapped around shuriken and scattered like petals towards a nearby pedestrian. The "pedestrian" dodged with unnatural speed but couldn't completely avoid the attack.
Bang—
Several fiery petals struck him, leaving severe burns and dispelling his transformation jutsu. The man was revealed as yet another black-clad ninja.
The Uchiha mber followed up with eight kunai, all of which pierced the target's body. The man collapsed to the ground, lifeless.
Similar skirmishes erupted in six different locations across the town as the Uchiha teams eliminated their targets.
anwhile, at the house Uchiha Fugaku had identified earlier.
Swoosh—
Using the Mayfly Technique, Fugaku erged from the ground beside the bound Taiwa Yoshi.
"Who's there?!"
One of the ninjas guarding the house spotted Fugaku and lunged at him with a kunai.
"True Illusion."
Fugaku's eyes shifted into his Mangekyō Sharingan. The ninja froze mid-attack as blood spurted from his throat. His body fell to the floor with a dull thud.
"There's an enemy!" the ninja managed to shout before dying.
The remaining six ninjas in the room reacted instantly, coordinating their assault on Fugaku.
Bang, bang, bang!
Suddenly, the walls and doors burst open as six Uchiha clan mbers stord in, each engaging a ninja.
As Fugaku cut the ropes binding Taiwa Yoshi, the fat rchant's face quivered with relief.
"Thank you, Chief Fugaku, for saving …" Taiwa Yoshi stamred, his voice trembling.
"The friendship between the Uchiha clan and the Taihe Chamber of Comrce makes this our duty," Fugaku replied, shaking his head. His eyes shifted to the ongoing battles around the room.
The six Uchiha clan mbers quickly overwheld their opponents, killing them one by one.
Sothing didn't feel right.
Fugaku frowned. These ninjas were weak compared to those who had attacked the caravan. The strongest among them was only a special jonin.
Chi-chi-chi—
A faint hissing sound caught his attention. Fugaku's Sharingan spotted nurous explosive tags hidden in the walls and ceiling, their fuses already burning.
"What a cruel trap…" Fugaku's expression darkened.
These ninjas were never ant to survive. Their purpose was to lure Fugaku and his team into a death trap.
Boom—
A massive explosion rocked the house, sending shockwaves through the surrounding area. Buildings crumbled, and debris scattered in all directions.
Across the town, Uchiha Huang and Uchiha Atsuko, having just finished their battles, turned towards the explosion in alarm.
"Sothing happened!" Huang exclaid, quickening his pace toward the source of the blast.
When they arrived, they found a large section of the town reduced to rubble. Smoke and dust blanketed the area.
"Clan Leader!" Atsuko called out, her voice filled with concern.
"We're fine," ca Fugaku's voice from within the smoke.
Relief washed over the group, but their surprise grew as the dust settled.
At the center of the devastation stood a massive black skeletal structure radiating an overwhelming aura. Fugaku and his team were unhard, protected within the construct.
"Susanoo… is this Susanoo?" Atsuko muttered, her voice trembling in awe.
"What? This is Susanoo? Controlled by the clan leader? Then… does that an the clan leader has…"
The realization sent shockwaves through the group.
Fugaku stood at the center, holding the unconscious Taiwa Yoshi in one hand. He dismissed the Susanoo, its black skeletal fra fading away.
"I didn't expect them to plant so many explosive tags. It was close, but we managed to save him," Fugaku said calmly.
He had knocked Taiwa Yoshi unconscious to ensure he didn't witness Susanoo.
"Clan Leader… have you awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan?" Uchiha Huang hesitated before asking.
"Indeed," Fugaku admitted. "I awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan ten years ago but chose to keep it a secret until now."
His gaze swept over the group. "This information must remain confidential. None of you are to speak of it."
"Yes, Clan Leader," the twelve Uchiha mbers responded in unison, their voices filled with newfound reverence.
Though they had respected Fugaku as their leader before, the revelation of his Mangekyō Sharingan inspired a level of awe and loyalty they had never felt before.
