Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.
Within the space where the Giant Tenseigan floated, Naruto stood on the platform with his eyes closed, one hand pressed against the massive sphere, as if sensing sothing deep within.
Warning! Unknown will detected. Imdiate purge recomnded.
Purge successful. Data analysis initiated… complete.
Sustainable top-tier foreign energy detected. Imdiate absorption recomnded.
Sustainable top-tier foreign energy detected. Imdiate absorption recomnded.
Sustainable top-tier—
"So even an awakened Tenseigan is classified as a sustainably absorbable foreign energy lifeform," Naruto murmured.
"And it's also absorbing sunlight from the outside… the sensation is very similar to Sage Mode. No wonder Toneri could push the moon with just his own Tenseigan in the original tiline."
Naruto nodded lightly and chose to absorb it.
Slowly, he opened his eyes.
They were a deep, radiant blue. At the center of each pupil was a black dot, around which faint double cross-shaped patterns erged.
"It's ti to obtain Yin–Yang Release."
Naruto took a step forward. His body passed into the Giant Tenseigan without any resistance. After a flash of blinding light, he stopped at a specific point inside.
He reached out, as if grasping sothing invisible—
and at once, the Mirror World issued a new alert.
Sustainable top-tier foreign energy detected. Imdiate absorption recomnded.
"Just as I thought… I can absorb the energy of two pairs of eyes at the sa ti."
Naruto's expression shifted slightly. He imdiately chose to absorb it.
The instant he did, the Giant Tenseigan's brilliance dimd sharply—then stabilized, though its radiance was noticeably weaker than before.
Congratulations! You have obtained the Eternal Tenseigan's Ultimate Dōjutsu!
Congratulations! You have obtained the Top-Tier Lifeform Ascension Program!
Congratulations! You have obtained Complete Yin–Yang Release!
Congratulations! You have obtained—
World Gate preliminarily ford. Energy conversion ti remaining—
Hyperdinsional Concealnt Screen detected. Spatial curvature changing. Current curvature value: 3.
"Not good!"
Naruto had been pleased when he heard that the World Gate had taken shape—but the mont this alert appeared, he imdiately stopped.
He had seen this Hyperdinsional Concealnt Screen in Hamura's mories.
It was a spatial barrier woven by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki using her unique space–ti abilities, designed so she alone could monopolize Earth's energy. Once the spatial curvature reached 10, cracks would form in the barrier—and the instant those cracks appeared, other mbers of the Ōtsutsuki clan would realize that sothing had gone wrong with Kaguya.
What was going on?
All he'd done was absorb the energy of Hamura's Tenseigan—so why had the curvature value jumped straight to 3?
"Did Hamura leave so kind of failsafe behind…?"
Frowning, Naruto withdrew from the Giant Tenseigan and returned to the platform. He went back into the Mirror World and carefully reviewed Hamura's mories again—
but found nothing.
After a mont of thought, Naruto pulled up the Foreign Energy Priority Index.
At the very top were two pairs of deep-blue eyes—Toneri's and Hamura's Tenseigan—stacked one above the other, followed by their nas. Behind Toneri's entry was a bracketed note:
First-stage energy absorption remaining ti: 2 hours. Please prepare the source host.
"Source host…"
Toneri's Tenseigan had been awakened using a clone of Hinata's Byakugan.
"If I clone another Ōtsutsuki from the moon… could I awaken another Tenseigan?"
With that thought, Naruto exited the Mirror World.
In a blur, he appeared on the surface of the moon.
His deep-blue eyes gazed into the distant starfield. Without even entering Sage Mode, relying solely on the Tenseigan now seated in his eye sockets, Naruto felt that the moon itself was completely under his control.
With a single thought—
the moon could move.
As his gaze shifted, Naruto noticed sothing strange. It was as if countless sheets of invisible glass were faintly flickering into view around him.
"Is this… Kaguya's Hyperdinsional Concealnt Screen?"
Naruto reached out and touched it.
The "glass" was incredibly solid—its texture unmistakably real. For reasons he couldn't quite explain, Naruto suddenly felt the urge to create sothing identical.
And the next mont—
a miracle happened.
Under his palm, sothing just like that "glass" began to condense and form.
At that instant, Naruto understood.
He finally grasped why Hamura had left his Tenseigan behind, and the true aning of the destiny Hamura had bestowed upon the Ōtsutsuki clan on the moon.
The so-called mission to protect Earth had never changed.
Hamura had led his people to the moon for a single reason: to ensure that one of his descendants would awaken the Tenseigan. As long as a Tenseigan existed, it could repair—and even recreate—the Hyperdinsional Concealnt Screen.
Earth had Hagoromo's safeguards.
The moon had Hamura's arrangents.
Following the original flow of events, the two brothers could have erged from the Pure Land to deal with any Ōtsutsuki who ca spying on Earth. What's more, after entering the Pure Land, Hagoromo and Hamura had also gained the ability to foresee the future.
But because of Naruto—
their prophecies had failed.
And Hamura, despite appearing before him, hadn't warned him of any of this.
Compared to Hagoromo…
he really was far more petty.
anwhile—
"Yo yo yo~! I never thought a lecher like you would actually beco Hokage! I won't waste words—lend a few tens of millions of ryō for an ergency! No—this isn't a loan! It's compensation for treating those bowl-cut idiots!"
"This is thirty million ryō. Take it and leave imdiately. The farther, the better."
Konohagakure.
A beautiful blonde woman sat in the Hokage's chair, demanding money the mont she opened her mouth—looking entirely justified while doing so.
Yet standing beside her, Jiraiya calmly took out a scroll and handed it over.
"…Hm?"
Her gaze sharpened. Her playful expression vanished, replaced by solemn seriousness. She stood up, revealing a shockingly voluptuous figure.
She didn't take the scroll.
"What happened?"
"Nothing," Jiraiya said with a smile.
"I just thought that if you walked any slower, soone might make you—Princess Tsunade—co back and steal my Hokage position."
"That's not it."
The blonde woman—Tsunade, newly returned to the village—stared straight into Jiraiya's eyes.
"I may have been away, but I've heard what's happened in the village. And besides—you were never the type who wanted to be Hokage."
"This has sothing to do with Orochimaru, doesn't it?! He killed the old man! And I heard rumors that the Hyūga clan and that last Uchiha heir were taken by him too! After that, he even used forbidden techniques to summon Second Grandpa and kidnap Danzō—am I wrong?!"
Jiraiya shook his head helplessly.
"Alright, the truth is—I just didn't want you losing too much money out there. I was worried your creditors would co banging on the Hokage's office door looking for repaynt."
"The village needs funds everywhere right now. My savings are almost gone."
"Hmph!"
Tsunade's face flushed with embarrassnt and anger. She snatched the scroll and stord toward the door.
BANG!
The door slamd shut behind her.
"Phew…"
Jiraiya let out a long breath. After a while, he walked to the window and looked down, watching Tsunade and Shizune, carrying Tonton, stride away down the administrative street.
There was reluctance in his eyes.
But in the end, he sighed deeply and returned to his seat, continuing to process paperwork.
At the cetery—
Kakashi had just finished wiping Rin's gravestone. He gently adjusted the fresh flowers in the bamboo holder.
When he finished, footsteps sounded behind him.
"Kakashi… did Jiraiya run into so kind of trouble in the village?"
"Tsunade-sama," Kakashi replied imdiately, without turning around,
"I truly don't know anything."
