True enough this kind of deal was too enticing...
They would be able to request help at a monts notice, and they will relative safe from all harms at the very least they won't have the threat of extinction...

The only way they won't gain sothing is if none of the participating Clan belongs to their land and were simply get attacked from other clans belonging to other Lands...
Leaving the formation untouched will also prove quite useful especially for importing and exporting various goods...
