In Sage Mode, Jiraiya unleashed the Adamantine Sealing Chains, though their number remained unchanged.

The chains had a natural limit—at most, twenty-eight could be ford. Even without entering Sage Mode, Jiraiya had already mastered this aspect.

However, while Sage Mode didn't increase the number of chains, it made them significantly thicker, their sealing power more potent. The golden radiance was more dazzling than before, with intricate runes flowing through the light.

Without Sage Mode, such phenona never appeared when Jiraiya used the Adamantine Sealing Chains. It was clear that infusing senjutsu chakra into the technique had caused a qualitative leap in its power.

The golden chains shot toward Kakuzu

.A deep sense of crisis surged within him as his black tendrils coiled protectively around his body.If he got caught by those chains, there would be no escaping.

"Damn it... If I hadn't been separated from my masks, I might've had a chance to block this. But in my current state... the odds are too low. Looks like I have no choice but to enter a false death state."

Kakuzu's mind raced, but he ultimately sighed in frustration.

He had been careless—letting Jiraiya separate him from his masked creatures had drastically weakened his overall strength.

Now, there was no way he could counter those chains.

Still, he wasn't about to give up.

The red-mouthed mask embedded in his chest suddenly snapped its eyes open.

Jiraiya imdiately sensed Kakuzu's chakra surging toward the mask at high speed. Two elental natures fused together—fire and earth. In the next instant, a crimson energy beam and a brownish beam erupted from the mask's mouth, streaking forward like high-speed laser blasts.

In the original story, Kakuzu had used this technique before—a chakra-based energy cannon with imnse power.

However, with his Wind, Lightning, and Water hearts missing, Kakuzu could only rely on his Earth and Fire hearts to execute the attack. Its destructive force was significantly weaker than usual, barely enough to threaten Jiraiya.

Of course, that wasn't to say the technique itself was weak—against most jōnin or even elite jōnin, it would cause chaos.

The sheer speed and force behind the chakra beams made them nearly impossible to dodge for an average jōnin. They would be left with no choice but to take the hit head-on.

If they lacked powerful defensive techniques, they would be blown to pieces instantly.

Even elite jōnin would struggle to evade and would have to counter with equally powerful ninjutsu, risking serious injury.

Had Kakuzu been able to unleash a full-powered five-elent fusion beam, its destructive potential would have rivaled a Tailed Beast Bomb—far more terrifying. But perfectly blending all five chakra natures was an incredibly difficult task.

Even now, the Fire and Earth beams weren't fully fused—they were simply launched simultaneously.

After all, Kakuzu's extra hearts were stolen from others. Each had an independent will, making perfect fusion even harder.

Jiraiya controlled six chains, twisting them together into an enormous, thick braid. Like a massive dragon's tail, it lashed out at the incoming beams. With a single whip-like strike, the two chakra beams shattered instantly.

"Ahhh!"Kakuzu let out a pained scream.

The chains had wrapped tightly around his limbs, and several speared clean through his shoulders, abdon, and thighs.

The golden runes surged across his body, spreading like an intricate web.In that instant, Kakuzu felt his chakra stagnate, as if it had turned into a lifeless pool of still water.

He couldn't move a single drop of it.

"What an incredible sealing technique..."Kakuzu was genuinely shocked.

His chakra reserves were vast—at least five tis that of an average shinobi of his caliber.

And yet, Jiraiya had sealed every last bit of it in an instant.

That alone spoke volus about the sheer power of this technique.

For the first ti, Kakuzu felt a twinge of unease. He wasn't afraid of Jiraiya killing him—after all, he had five lives.

But if Jiraiya sealed him instead, how was he supposed to play dead and catch him off guard later?Jiraiya swung the golden chains, hurling Kakuzu against the fleshy walls of the cave. The walls pulsed and wriggled, absorbing him into the surface, leaving only his head and abdon exposed.

Jiraiya stepped forward and pressed a hand against Kakuzu's stomach. With a surge of senjutsu chakra, another intricate sealing array appeared over his abdon.

Only after this did Jiraiya finally feel at ease. With two layers of sealing in place, even if he exited Sage Mode, Kakuzu would remain completely immobilized—unable to use any chakra at all.

Against soone as dangerous as Kakuzu, caution was necessary.

"Kakuzu, to be honest, I think you're a genius. I don't want to kill you," Jiraiya said, his voice calm yet firm. "I'll give you a chance to live—swear loyalty to , and I'll spare your life."

"Hah! I once fought Senju Hashirama himself. You think I'd submit to a brat like you?"

"If you want to kill , do it. I'm not afraid of death."Kakuzu's voice was defiant.

"Don't push , Kakuzu."Jiraiya remained unfazed, his eyes steady. "I know your secret. You have five hearts. Five lives."

"But in your current state, destroying all five of them would be easy for ."Kakuzu froze as if struck by lightning, his eyes widening in shock.Terror flickered in his gaze.

How... How did Jiraiya know? His secret technique ca from Takigakure—an ancient relic from the Warring States period.

Before he discovered it, no one in the village had ever mastered it.

The ability to replace hearts to extend his life... no one else knew about it.

He had never told a soul.So how in the world did Jiraiya find out?!
