Naruto: Starting With Three Tomoe Sharingan, Girlfriend Kushina Chapter 85: The Great Toad Sage's Prophetic Dream, A God's G
The Three Great Sage Regions – Mount Myōboku.
Inside a massive palace atop Mount Myōboku, an ugly giant old toad lay snoring on its throne.
At this mont, the old toad was dreaming. This dream was both a prophetic dream and a terrifying nightmare!
It dread that the ninja world underwent a terrible upheaval. The world did not seem to follow the trajectory it had seen in its previous dreams. A man who appeared out of nowhere had changed everything!
That was a man with terrifying eyes, and his eyes kept changing, to the point that the old toad in the dream was shocked and doubtful.
This prophetic dream was strange and fragnted. It could not clearly see the face of the person who caused the upheaval in the ninja world because his body was illusory, making it hard to discern.
But so of the terrifying scenes in the dream, as well as his eyes, were exceptionally clear and vivid.
In the dream, it even saw itself and part of Mount Myōboku's future.
It deliberately lingered a little longer at this dream node of Mount Myōboku because it wanted to know what fate would befall the mountain when that person arrived.
Sotis, the old toad's dreams would show two different outcos simultaneously, just like when it once prophesied the savior of the ninja world.
One outco was the destruction of the world with Nagato as the savior, and the other was world peace with Naruto as the savior. Both outcos were derived through Jiraiya, the savior's teacher.
This ti, regarding Mount Myōboku, the dream also presented two completely different fragnts.
One fragnt showed the sacred mountain collapsing, with blood and corpses everywhere. The entire Mount Myōboku looked like a living hell. This scene chilled the old toad to the bone, as if it were trapped in the dead of winter.
The other fragnt showed the mountain still standing, peaceful and serene. However, the sacred land now housed many unfamiliar figures. So humans seed to have settled there, sharing this energy-rich natural paradise with Mount Myōboku.
The first outco was undoubtedly terrible, sothing the old toad would strive to avoid in the future. The second outco, in its eyes, was not much better either.
Sharing the sacred mountain with humans… This was sothing it had never allowed, not even when the Sage of Six Paths was alive. In its eyes, the toads were the true masters of Mount Myōboku. How could it tolerate others sleeping beside its bed?
Yet, both outcos for Mount Myōboku were brought about by the sa person. From this, a conclusion could be drawn: destruction or submission!
If they opposed that person, the first outco of destruction would co true. Even if a group of sages ca to help them fight, it would be useless.
If they submitted to that person, Mount Myōboku's territory would inevitably be divided.
"It seems there is no choice…" The old toad sighed with a mournful expression.
Leaving the dream node of Mount Myōboku, the old toad soon witnessed the "downfall" of the ninja. The revolutionary buried an entire era with his own strength!
As the tiline progressed, that person's figure beca more and more illusory, harder and harder to discern…
The old toad rubbed its eyes vigorously, straining its mind to see more of the future.
Unfortunately, the further the fragnts went, the more broken and incomprehensible they beca. It saw a towering divine tree reaching the heavens and a black-armored giant equally tall…
At the end of the dream, an unknown amount of ti had passed. The surrounding world had lost its original colors, but the figure from the "beginning" to the "end" still remained. He seed like the embodint of "eternity"!
This person kept walking forward, never stopping. Gamamaru widened its bloodshot eyes, enduring intense ntal exhaustion, trying to see his final destination.
Just as it focused all its strength to stare at that tall figure's back, the figure suddenly stopped.
The illusory shadow rapidly transford into reality, and that supre being, whose face had always been unclear… slowly turned his head to glance in its direction.
This glance made Gamamaru's scalp tingle. The figure did reveal a glimpse of his face, but it could no longer focus on rembering it.
When that glance fell upon it, Gamamaru instantly felt an intense pain in its eyes. The entire dream space twisted and shattered!
"Ah…"
The toad, asleep in the hall, suddenly let out a shrill scream. Two streams of bloody tears flowed from its eyes!
"What happened!"
A group of toads outside rushed into the hall upon hearing the scream. The fastest was a small green-skinned old toad.
"Great Elder Sage, your eyes! What happened!!!"
Fukasaku urgently asked. There were no signs of intruders around. Why were the Great Elder's eyes injured and bleeding?
"Bring healing dicine, and get a sage power talisman too. We must treat the Great Elder Sage's injuries first…"
Fukasaku solemnly instructed Shima beside him. It was gradually calming down.
"No need… It's not serious…" The Great Toad Sage waved its hand weakly, looking exhausted.
Right now, all it could think about was the figure of that supre being.
No, to be precise, it was the glance he gave when he turned back at the end!
It could no longer rember that glimpse of his face—or perhaps it hadn't paid attention at the ti. All its focus had been drawn to that terrifying eye!
It was a sinister left eye capable of captivating souls. When he looked at Gamamaru, nine strange black tomoe even seed to tremble faintly! Gamamaru could clearly feel an imnsely terrifying spiritual power surging from that eye.
That power was too vast. It felt like a small boat adrift in the ocean. When a wave of his pupil power crashed over it, there was no chance of resistance left.
That eye left a deep impression. It had seen a similar eye a thousand years ago.
Gamamaru believed it was a special kind of Rinnegan. The Sage of Six Paths' Rinnegan was similar in color, and both even had the sa ripple patterns.
However, that sinister left eye had densely packed black tomoe, making it look more like the Nine Tomoe Rinne Sharingan of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the mother of the Sage of Six Paths…
"Was it a Rinnegan? Or a Nine Tomoe Rinne Sharingan? How could he be so strong? I don't even exist in reality, not even in illusion. How could he still detect ?"
"Not only that, he used that eye to forcibly shatter my dream and even injured my real eyes…"
In Gamamaru's view, such thods were beyond human comprehension, beyond anything it had witnessed in its thousand years of life. It was as if he were not a person at all, but a true… god!
The Great Toad Sage paid no attention to the green-skinned old toad chattering beside it. It kept covering its eyes, muttering to itself.
Its eyes could no longer see. It didn't know how long this condition would last—temporary blindness, or… permanent blindness!
This kind of special spiritual injury could not be healed by dicine or sage power talismans. It knew this very well, which was why it refused to let its descendants waste precious resources on treatnt.
