As the purple smoke completely dissipated, Ryun was fully exposed before the two Rain-nin jōnin.

He used his sleeve to wipe off the explosive residue and blood stains from the chakra blade, then pointed it at the two, preparing for a desperate fight.

"Rember, don't look into his eyes. Focus on his lower body when fighting him!"

Rain Eagle stepped forward. He had temporarily suppressed his injuries and still had so combat ability left.

"Understood..."

Rain Ryo forced himself to nod, still deeply wary of the boy's genjutsu.

The idea of fighting while only observing the lower body sounded simple, but in actual combat... it was nearly impossible to guarantee no mistakes.

Rain Ryo took a deep breath to calm himself, quickly ford hand seals, and slamd his palms on the ground, initiating a ninjutsu attack.

They believed it was best to avoid close combat and instead try a hit-and-run strategy first.

"Earth Style: Earth Spears!"

Rows of sharp earthen spikes erupted from beneath Ryun's feet. Sensing the danger, Ryun imdiately retreated to dodge. At the sa ti, Rain Eagle hurled a barrage of poisoned senbon at him.

Ryun had to simultaneously guard against the sudden attacks from below and block the lethal senbon flying toward him. He was forced to jump around, constantly changing positions and swinging his blade to deflect the needles.

Even with the full observational power of his Three Tomoe Sharingan, he couldn't completely defend against the fierce assault of two jōnin.

One poisoned senbon pierced his left arm, drawing a visible splash of blood!

Ryun's pupils contracted sharply. He imdiately pulled out the senbon, and a faint current of electricity wrapped around his injured arm.

"Hahaha, it's over!"

Seeing the poisoned needle hit his arm, Rain Ryo and Rain Eagle both grinned in triumph.

Each of these senbon was coated with the venom of a salamander. In their eyes, Ryun was already as good as dead!

They had absolute confidence in the salamander's poison.

Watching the two jōnin approach with sinister smiles, Ryun gripped his blade, adopting a defensive stance.

But suddenly, without warning, he collapsed to his knees, his eyes wide as he clutched his chest, gasping for breath.

His face was deathly pale, beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, and drool dripped uncontrollably from his mouth.

These were the symptoms of the salamander's poison taking effect. Rain Eagle and Rain Ryo were absolutely certain he was done for. Even if they didn't finish him off, this kid was already dead!

"Such a young powerhouse. It's a sha we never learned your na," Rain Eagle sighed with slight regret.

Under the effects of the salamander's poison, speaking was impossible. Even if he asked for a na now, Ryun couldn't answer.

Ryun's Three Tomoe Sharingan had deactivated, and he looked no different from a lamb waiting for slaughter.

"Tch... kid, your chakra blade and Three Tomoe Sharingan... I'll take good care of them from now on."

Rain Ryo spoke while raising his blade, preparing to deliver the final blow. Kill first, harvest the eyes later—that was basic logic.

But...

"Chidori Current!"

Ryun suddenly raised his hand and unleashed two bolts of lightning!

This sudden, unsealed, instantaneous Lightning Release caught the two completely off guard. Screaming in pain under the electric assault, they were left stunned.

Why could this kid still move after being poisoned by the salamander's venom? Why could he use ninjutsu without hand seals, and so quickly at that?

Shock and confusion filled their minds, but Ryun gave them no chance to find out.

Taking advantage of their paralysis, Ryun gripped his chakra blade, kicked off the ground, and in a flash of steel, beheaded Rain Ryo.

After eliminating the more dangerous enemy first, Ryun strode toward Rain Eagle, blade in hand.

The jōnin lay on the ground, seemingly on the verge of death, with no strength left to fight.

"Why...? You were hit by the salamander's poison!!" Rain Eagle struggled to speak, blood trickling from his lips.

"Because I took an antidote beforehand," Ryun replied calmly.

Earlier, inside the purple smoke, he had secretly done many things. He first swallowed a soldier pill to restore his chakra for the upcoming battle, then drank both antidote vials given to him by Orochimaru in one go.

When he was hit by the poisoned senbon earlier, it wasn't because he couldn't dodge—it was a deliberate ploy to lure the two jōnin into lowering their guard.

In truth, Ryun had planned to act more convincingly—like "struggling" to dodge projectiles or using the Body Flicker Technique to evade ninjutsu—but the two were so confident in the salamander's poison that they never doubted him once he was "poisoned"...

He didn't even need to reveal his other tricks to easily succeed.

The salamander's poison couldn't harm him. First, he had already consud a large amount of antidote beforehand. Second, before being hit, he had already coated his arm with Chidori Current, and after being struck, he continued using electricity to weaken the venom.

Additionally, since he had recently recovered from the sa poison, his body had developed a certain immunity, giving him high resistance. Thus, the small dose from the senbon was nothing to fear!

"But... why you..."

Rain Eagle wanted to ask another question, but before he could finish, Ryun moved.

He first slashed off the jōnin's treacherous arm with his chakra blade, then with another flash of steel, slit his throat.

"You ask too many questions..."

These were Rain Eagle's final words.

He had intended to ignite all the explosive tags in his pouch, taking Ryun down with him in a suicide attack to eliminate this future threat to Agakure.

But Ryun didn't give him the chance.

After killing the two Rain-nin jōnin, Ryun collapsed to the ground, utterly exhausted. By now, his chakra was nearly depleted.

His condition hadn't been great to begin with—having just recovered from a minor illness, then fighting over a dozen enemies on the frontlines, expending large amounts of chakra, and now taking on two jōnin alone—he had truly pushed himself to the limit!

After resting for about half a minute, Ryun forced his weary body up and fled the area.

This place was too close to the earlier battlefield. There was no guarantee more enemies wouldn't co, so he didn't dare linger.

He didn't even bother taking the two jōnin's forehead protectors. While they could be exchanged for military rit, he didn't care.

The mont he left, a dark figure erged from the trunk of a tree.

The figure's body resembled black sludge, and its face bore an eerie, sinister grin.

This monster was one of the people Ryun least wanted to encounter in the Land of Rain—Black Zetsu!

"To think the Uchiha clan would produce such a young Three Tomoe powerhouse!!"

He had recorded the entire battle. Ryun's performance had completely exceeded his expectations.

A re genin, yet capable of taking down two Rain-nin jōnin alone.

Both his Three Tomoe Sharingan and his combat prowess left Black Zetsu astonished.

'Perhaps this one could beco an asset to Madara, accelerating the start of the 'Eye of the Moon' plan... No, I must have White Zetsu report this imdiately...'

With these thoughts, Black Zetsu collected the two Rain-nin corpses from the ground before vanishing without a trace.
