Given the current scale of the battle between Naruto and Imu… far surpassing any 'Ultraman vs Kaiju' spectacle… there were few places where they could truly cut loose.
If even the Adam Tree could not withstand the aftershocks of their fight, no other island would stand a chance.
—Perhaps the Red Line could?
But if the Red Line were to collapse, the Fish-Man Island below, the Sabaody Archipelago, and even Marine Headquarters Marineford not far away would suffer unforeseeable consequences.
Poor Marineford, its reconstruction was not even half complete. If it were to suffer another disaster, the Marines might be forced to choose a new headquarters.
So, where else could they go?
Exactly, the moon.
One could hardly bla Naruto for always targeting the moon. It was simply the closest celestial body to the surface and uninhabited.
Coupled with his 'successful experience' last ti, Naruto didn't hesitate for a mont when teleporting.
Surely there wasn't another Otsutsuki branch family on this world's moon!?
What were the odds of such a coincidence?
With that thought, Naruto in his [Brahma] form, with one hand gripping the head and the other holding the tail, forcibly dragged Imu across an unimaginable distance to the lunar surface.
Boom!
The mont these two colossal, godlike figures landed on the moon, they kicked up a sandstorm of dust, and the trendous boom echoed far and wide.
"Hm?"
Naruto raised an eyebrow instinctively.
It wasn't because he was puzzled that the moon had air.
—In truth, the moon in the Ninja World also had air, which led this academic underachiever to naturally assu that all other planets were breathable.
He hadn't considered taking Imu into the vastness of space to suffocate him.
What puzzled Naruto were the small figures, like ants, that had hollowed out the interior of the moon, as revealed by his sensory perception.
'There really were Otsutsuki!?'
Naruto montarily forgot to capitalize on Imu's disorientation to land a few more heavy blows, instead focusing his attention on those small beings.
As his Observation Haki returned clearer information, Naruto finally relaxed.
Those things were not living beings, but puppets, similar to the ones Toneri's family used.
The only life signs on the moon belonged to him and Imu...
...No.
The titan-like Naruto looked up, his equally enlarged Jogan instantly piercing the void, spotting a flash of lightning rapidly approaching.
That was?
...
Enel felt that he was truly a god, that even the heavens were on his side.
Although he had been defeated by that straw hat-wearing man from the Blue Sea, he had fortuitously discovered the [Fairy Vearth] recorded in ancient texts.
—Another semi-literate, Enel stubbornly refused to acknowledge the Blue Sea as the Fairy Vearth, instead idealizing the moon, located even higher, as his ultimate goal.
After arriving, Enel found the decommissioned robot [First Lieutenant Spacey]. After giving it a jolt of lightning, the revived little one led him to more fallen robots and the [Space Pirates] who had defeated them.
Despite constantly being outmatched by Luffy, Enel was a genuine Logia user with the Goro Goro no Mi, one of the most destructive and fastest fruits. Those Space Pirates were no match for him. (T/N: Rumble-Rumble Fruit.)
Enraged by the Space Pirates' coveting of his Fairy Vearth, Enel attacked their fleet and easily won.
Subsequently, the chosen one Enel luckily discovered an ancient city beneath the lunar crust and inadvertently activated the entire army of destroyers… now, of course, they were loyal to him and renad the Enel Army.
Thus, the Lightning God Enel, who had lost everything and beco utterly alone, had suddenly assembled another crew and was preparing to explore deeper into space.
Once he grew stronger, he would lead these underlings back to Skypiea, and even to the Blue Sea, to get revenge on that straw hat boy!
Unfortunately, before the Lightning God's journey could begin, his ark Maxim had barely flown a short distance when he saw his 'land' being invaded once again.
Could he tolerate this?
Lord Enel instantly transford into lightning and sped back to the moon.
But the closer he flew, the larger Naruto and Imu's forms beca.
By the ti he was less than a kiloter from the moon, he could already observe the battle between Naruto and Imu at 'close range'.
When he had seen the two from space, Enel had thought their size would be considerable.
But only now did he truly grasp just how enormous they were.
A kiloter distance was considered 'safe' anywhere else, but clearly not here.
The tail sweep of a struggling Imu covered more than that distance alone.
Crackle—
Enel, reduced to an electric arc by the tail strike before he could even process what happened, reford his body, his face a mixture of shock and fury.
Whoever you are, to dare desecrate a god like this, go to hell!
Enel should have been grateful that Imu had not coated his tail in Haki… otherwise, that single strike might have ended his 'path to godhood'.
Unfortunately, Enel, whose 'version' was too early to understand what Armant Haki was, had no idea how unsafe he truly was. His rage caused him to completely forget the awe he felt upon first seeing these two 'great gods'.
"200 Million Volt Amaru!!"
Enel's form rapidly expanded, turning into pure lightning. He gathered countless electrical bolts into his palm, forming a trident, and hurled it towards the two figures.
Naruto, who had been surprised to find a Devil Fruit user on the moon, saw the attack coming and abandoned any notion of protecting this individual.
'The local force is so impolite.'
He turned, pinched Imu's upper and lower jaws, forcibly prying the dragon's mouth open, and aid it directly at the trident.
Swoosh—
Enel's expression shifted from confident to bewildered, even beginning to question if that massive monster over there was also made of 'rubber'.
Why else would his 200 million volt ultimate technique have no effect!?
The imnse lightning plunged straight into Imu's mouth without causing so much as a ripple. Instead, Imu, whose head had almost been broken, roared in pain and unleashed another breath attack.
Thorheim!
The pitch-black lightning breath was incomparably more terrifying than Enel's lightning spear. By comparison, his earlier attack was like a re 'toothpick'.
This torrent of breath engulfed Enel's form instantly. His [Amaru Form] did not last half a second against Imu's breath.
The great Lightning God Enel was like a stray dog by the roadside, walking along fine until he was suddenly kicked into a ditch.
Naruto, however, seized the opportunity while Imu was breathing out to manipulate his Truth-Seeking Ball, expanding and reshaping it into a massive blade, and sliced off two of his wings.
"Roar!!!"
This ti, Imu's cry was one of genuine agony.
Naruto's slash had not only used the Truth-Seeking Ball but was also imbued with Conqueror's Haki. Neither Imu's immortality nor Nidhoggr's natural durability could withstand it.
The two severed wings crashed to the ground. Naruto attempted to pull the Truth-Seeking Ball blade from the base of the third wing to go for a decapitation, but Imu chose to flee first.
Midgard!
The halo enveloped him once more. Ignoring his wounds, Imu perford a 'lazy dragon roll' forward, putting distance between himself and Naruto.
One had to admit, simplicity often prevailed. At the highest levels of combat, the most basic techniques were often the most effective.
