Sasuke watched the restrained Toneri Ōtsutsuki.
For ordinary people, a re touch from a Truth-Seeking Orb ant instant annihilation. However, for soone like Toneri Ōtsutsuki, it wasn't quite so deadly. Still, having Truth-Seeking Orbs pierce his body was intensely unpleasant, significantly hindering his power.
Sasuke slowly advanced towards Toneri.
As Toneri watched Sasuke approach, his expression darkened considerably. He struggled to his feet, unleashing his Tailed Beast Chakra in defiance. But in the next instant, with a casual flick of his finger, Sasuke completely nullified Toneri's chakra.
Toneri stared, utterly dumbfounded. "How... how can you also... freely absorb chakra?!"
The ability to absorb chakra should, by all rights, belong solely to the Ōtsutsuki clan! No—to be precise, it should only be usable by mbers of the Ōtsutsuki clan who had attained Six Paths-level power. Why could Sasuke...? He was rely a lesser being, a product of mixed human and Ōtsutsuki bloodlines. On what grounds? How could he possibly wield such power?
Suddenly, Sasuke shot his hand out, grabbing Toneri by the jaw and lifting him off the ground. A dark light flickered in Sasuke's eyes as he stared at the Ōtsutsuki before him.
Divine Spirit, activate!
He began stripping Toneri of his Tenseigan's power. Not wanting Toneri to realize imdiately, Sasuke spoke, "You believe only the Ōtsutsuki are noble, don't you?"
"Perhaps human strength doesn't compare to the Ōtsutsuki. But... when fused with the Ōtsutsuki clan, perhaps sothing even more noble can be born!"
"And that existence is the Uchiha."
"The bloodline... possessed by the Uchiha has already surpassed the Ōtsutsuki!"
Surpassed the Ōtsutsuki? Impossible! Absolutely impossible. That could never happen, no matter what.
"re humans! How could you possibly be stronger than the Ōtsutsuki clan! Impossible!" Toneri roared, veins bulging on his forehead as he seed to transform into a frenzied beast. He fought desperately against Sasuke's grip.
He threw a powerful punch straight at Sasuke's face, infused with the force of the Tailed Beast Chakra. The attack had barely begun to unleash its terrifying energy when Sasuke was forced to release his hold. Accompanied by a fierce shockwave emanating from the Tenseigan, Sasuke was violently thrown backward.
Yet, even while airborne, a dangerous glint flashed in Sasuke's eyes. He had been using his Divine Spirit ability to strip Toneri's power, but Toneri had abruptly interrupted him. This sparked a flicker of anger in Sasuke. Refusing to cooperate, are you?
Then I'll make you stay put!
With that thought, Sasuke flared his power. Anotejikara!
He instantly reappeared behind Toneri. Drawing his Kusanagi Sword, he thrust forward, impaling Toneri in a flash. A spray of blood erupted as Toneri spun around.
Sasuke vanished again, reappearing above Toneri. Clasping Toneri's head between his hands, he delivered a devastatingly heavy knee strike squarely to Toneri's forehead. The impact instantly knocked Toneri unconscious.
But Sasuke's assault wasn't over.
Suspending himself effortlessly in mid-air, Sasuke spread his arms wide. Black lightning crackled violently into existence, striking Toneri below and paralyzing him completely. Imdiately after, violet chakra surged forth. Countless swords of purple light rained down from the sky, piercing Toneri's body one after another.
Sasuke raised a hand, coalescing black flas. In the next second, aiming at Toneri, the flas instantly ford an arrow. His Susanoo materialized in the sa instant, launching the arrow wreathed in Amaterasu flas, which pierced straight through Toneri's body.
This stunning chain of attacks erupted, completely engulfing Toneri, who let out horrific screams.
The watching ninjas couldn't help but gasp, sucking in sharp breaths. Sasuke's sudden, ferocious onslaught had startled them all. The relentless sequence of attacks was staggering, almost unimaginable. Anyone else hit by such a barrage would have been dead long ago.
Yet, Toneri, while severely battered, didn't seem to be fatally wounded just yet. However, under Sasuke's continuous onslaught, he was utterly powerless to fight back.
The next mont, as Toneri turned his head towards Sasuke, Sasuke's eyes locked onto him. One hand shot out, clamping around Toneri's neck. He lifted Toneri's entire body off the ground.
Divine Spirit activated once more.
Toneri struggled, but his movents were far weaker this ti. Sasuke didn't imdiately strip away the Tenseigan. Instead, he first erased Toneri's massive chakra reserves, directly siphoning away the Tailed Beast Chakra.
Deprived of the Tailed Beast Chakra, Toneri's presence weakened dramatically. Next, the Tenseigan's own chakra was similarly drained away. Only then did Sasuke begin to extract the Tenseigan itself.
The dōjutsu, having evolved into the golden Tenseigan, held truly considerable power. For the first ti using his Divine Spirit ability, Sasuke felt so difficulty; there seed to be a kind of resistance as he tried to strip this power away. It surprised him slightly.
However, despite the resistance, it wasn't fundantally too difficult. It just required a little more ti.
By the ti Toneri felt his Tenseigan power fading bit by bit, it was already too late. When the Tenseigan's power was completely stripped away by Sasuke, Toneri's eyes dimd, reverting to their original Byakugan state. He looked at Sasuke, his eyes now filled with pure terror.
This man... he had stolen his power, the power he prided himself on. How had he done it?
Toneri tried to open his mouth to speak.
In the next second, Sasuke released him, but simultaneously unleashed a powerful sealing technique, completely binding Toneri. Even in his final monts before being sealed, Toneri couldn't comprehend how Sasuke had managed it, or why his Tenseigan power had simply vanished.
While Toneri was sealed and the ninjas remained stunned, Sasuke was already beginning to integrate the Tenseigan's power. The golden Tenseigan rged into his own Sharingan.
Instantly, Sasuke was enveloped in a golden aura, radiant and brilliant, casting its light over half of Konoha. Seeing this sudden, extraordinary phenonon surrounding Sasuke, all the ninjas stared wide-eyed, their gazes fixed on him. Everything was changing too rapidly; they had no idea what was happening.
But within the golden light, where Sasuke stood, his eyes were undergoing an astonishing transformation.
The ninth tomoe solidified.
A Nine-Tomoe Sharingan.
In that mont, Sasuke's ocular power surged exponentially. It was likely that no one could now match Sasuke in terms of sheer dōjutsu prowess. This enhancent amplified the potency of his eye techniques. For example, his Anotejikara could now potentially teleport sothing the size of an entire building instantly, redirecting massive attacks wherever he willed them to go. And he could do it without the slightest difficulty!
