Sasuke's anger was a palpable blaze. If the man before him hadn't been a re mortal, albeit one wielding scientific ninja tools, he wouldn't have even warranted Sasuke's attention. Even with those tools, soone so foolish was beyond help.
Sasuke's cold gaze fixed on Katasuke, who felt an imdiate chill as their eyes t. The raw killing intent radiating from Sasuke was unmistakable, and a wave of fear washed over Katasuke.
Is this guy really going to attack ?
"Kid, you're using scientific ninja tools too, aren't you?" Katasuke blurted out, his attempt at bravado failing to mask his fear.
Scientific ninja tools?
Sasuke was montarily taken aback. Where did this fool get the idea I was using those?
"You've already given yourself away! You didn't use any hand seals, yet you casually unleashed a jutsu. There's no doubt you're using scientific ninja tools!" Katasuke declared with false confidence. "Nothing else could achieve that!"
No doubt?
Sasuke's lips curled into a cold smirk. "Oh, really?"
"You admit it, don't you? You're using scientific tools too!" Katasuke pressed, desperate for confirmation. If Sasuke admitted to it, it would be a huge victory for Katasuke, allowing him to promote the power of scientific tools, gain more support, and secure further funding for his research from the village.
But Sasuke simply stared at him, his silence a cold dismissal.
Katasuke coughed awkwardly, trying to regain his composure. "See? I knew it! You're using scientific tools! You're just not admitting it!"
The Konoha ninjas who had witnessed the exchange began to recall how Sasuke had casually flicked his wrist and released a jutsu without any hand seals. Such power did seem like sothing only scientific tools could accomplish. After all, ninjutsu without hand seals or any apparent preparation was beyond the capabilities of ordinary ninjas.
"So, what exactly are you trying to say?" Sasuke asked, his tone icy.
Hearing this, Katasuke assud Sasuke had tacitly admitted to using scientific tools and his grin widened. "Kid, step aside. Let show you the proper way to use scientific ninja tools!"
Katasuke waved a dismissive hand at Sasuke, who rely chuckled.
"Are you sure about that?" Sasuke inquired.
"Of course! My scientific tools are the strongest in the shinobi world!" Katasuke boasted. "If you can do it, so can I!"
Sasuke nodded and stepped aside, allowing Katasuke to take center stage.
anwhile, Momoshiki slowly approached Kinshiki. He couldn't fathom why these inferior beings were fighting amongst themselves, but he recognized an opportunity.
Katasuke stepped forward, raising his scientific tool and aiming it at Momoshiki. Momoshiki, now wary after his encounter with Sasuke, imdiately tensed. He no longer underestimated these so-called "lower beings."
As Katasuke held up his tool, he began enthusiastically explaining its capabilities to the onlookers.
"By pre-storing jutsu scrolls, you can instantly release any jutsu you desire during battle without the need for hand seals!" Katasuke proclaid proudly. "This greatly enhances a ninja's combat effectiveness!"
"Now, allow to demonstrate its power for you all!"
With misplaced confidence, Katasuke unleashed a rapid-fire barrage of five elental jutsu attacks at Momoshiki.
Fire, lightning, water, earth, and wind – all five elents were released in quick succession.
The display was indeed impressive. For a ninja to master all five elents normally required decades of rigorous training. But with scientific tools, it was as simple as equipping a weapon.
"So powerful! With this, I could be considered a master of all five elents!" one ninja exclaid.
"I heard only the Third Hokage was able to master all five elents in Konoha's history!" another added.
"And now, with scientific tools, we can match the Third Hokage in an instant!"
Match the Third Hokage?
Kakashi, who was observing nearby, couldn't help but facepalm. Don't underestimate the Third Hokage, he thought. This level of five-elent jutsu isn't even close to his.
anwhile, Momoshiki, who had braced himself for an attack, was stunned.
Is this idiot actually helping ? he wondered. Is this lower being trying to surrender?
But even if Katasuke intended to surrender, it was too late. Momoshiki had no intention of showing rcy to anyone in this world.
"Not dodging? Then just die!" Katasuke laughed, mistaking Momoshiki's stillness for fear.
But as the flas, water, and other elents drew near, they suddenly vanished without a trace.
Momoshiki smiled faintly. "Thank you, lower being. If it weren't for the chakra you sent , I might have had to find another way."
Using the Otsutsuki clan's unique ability, Momoshiki refined the chakra into a chakra fruit and consud it, instantly amplifying his power.
"Don't worry, I'll rember your assistance. At the very least, I'll make your death painless," Momoshiki said, his gaze sending a shiver down Katasuke's spine.
"What did he do? Why didn't my attack work?!" Katasuke panicked. "Impossible! Did my scientific tool malfunction?!"
As Momoshiki advanced towards him, Katasuke turned to see Sasuke standing several dozen ters away, watching with an unnerving calm.
When did he get away?! Katasuke thought, frustration mounting. What a coward! How can soone like that even call themselves a ninja?!
"Damn it! That was just a fluke! It won't happen again!" Katasuke shouted, trying to reassure himself as much as the others.
"Fire Style!"
He activated his trump card – a small scroll containing a fire-style jutsu created and stored by none other than Uchiha Itachi. This was the most potent technique in his arsenal.
As a massive wave of fire surged towards Momoshiki, Katasuke grinned triumphantly. "Haha! Burn to ashes! Under this inferno, everything will be reduced to–"
But the flas abruptly converged into a single point and were absorbed by Momoshiki in an instant.
By the ti Katasuke registered what had occurred, Momoshiki was already standing directly in front of him, looking down with a chilling smile.
"This chakra... it's not yours, is it?" Momoshiki said, his gaze flicking to the device in Katasuke's hand.
"Your little toy is interesting, but if you thought you could defeat with it, you were gravely mistaken."
"These attacks cannot harm ."
"But since you have so generously provided with chakra, I shall grant you a small rcy."
"Tell , how would you like to die?"
Katasuke finally understood. Momoshiki hadn't dodged because he could simply absorb the attacks.
That's why that kid didn't use ninjutsu against him earlier... Katasuke realized with a jolt. He's not using scientific tools at all. That kid is the real deal... a true ninja.
