The sharp blade emitted a terrifying cold light.
Orochimaru couldn't help but swallow hard.
In a flash, he dropped the Kusanagi Sword and raised his hands.
"I surrender!"

The blade swept past, the tallic clang of the sword reverberating throughout the space.
Sasuke's figure appeared behind Orochimaru in the sa instant.
At the sa ti, Orochimaru's sword fell to the ground, piercing straight into the earth.
The ground cracked, and a clean cut extended from Sasuke's position forward, stretching nearly a hundred ters until it reached the Four Violet Flas Formation barrier.
A white light flashed, and the barrier was sliced open, leaving a massive gap.
The Sound Four, who were maintaining the barrier, were utterly shaken.
They could clearly feel the terrifying power of that strike.
The mont the attack hit, nearly two-thirds of their chakra was drained instantly.
Even the Four Violet Flas Formation barrier had been cut open by a single slash.

"Are you satisfied now?" Sasuke asked as he put away the Kusanagi Sword and turned to face Orochimaru.
Orochimaru smiled wryly.
"Well, now that my hands are restored, I had to test how well they've recovered."
Sasuke was speechless at this explanation.
Orochimaru had genuinely wanted to try to take over his body, but even if he failed, it didn't seem to bother him.
