Bringing Kimimaro along was out of the question.
Kimimaro was now the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails. There was no way he could appear in front of the Akatsuki mbers.
Otherwise, the Three-Tails would undoubtedly be the first target they'd try to capture.
Leaving Kimimaro outside was the safest option.
Inside Akatsuki's base, Sasuke noticed a piece of white paper floating in the air.

She descended into the basent, navigating through a long, pitch-black tunnel.
At last, Sasuke sensed chakra fluctuations ahead. While not overwhelmingly strong,
Each of these chakra signatures carried a unique presence.
Strictly speaking, every mber of Akatsuki was formidable.
Whether it was Kakuzu, Hidan, Deidara, Sasori, Kisa, Zetsu, Konan, Nagato, or even his brother Itachi Uchiha, they were all powerful ninja.
Practically all of them were Kage-level ninja. Even Hidan, with his seemingly simple skillset, was technically Kage-level.
Unfortunately, his overly simplistic mind led to his downfall buried alive.

Even Tobi was nowhere to be seen.
Nagato or rather, Yahiko's corpse looked at Sasuke.
"Sasuke Uchiha... our newest mber of Akatsuki!"
"Code na: Kūjin. Akatsuki is now fully staffed!"
"So, I've decided to begin the Tailed Beast Capture Plan ahead of schedule!"
Hearing Nagato's sudden announcent, the other Akatsuki mbers were montarily stunned.
No wonder they'd all been summoned; they thought it was just to welco the new mber. Kakuzu had been sowhat indifferent about it.
A new mber, no matter how impressive, didn't seem worth the effort of gathering everyone.
"So, we're finally taking action? Those boring missions were such a hassle. Which Tailed Beast do we start with?"
"Let go, leader!"
Hidan's eagerness was t with mild annoyance from Nagato.
But thinking about Hidan's lack of intelligence, Nagato chose not to argue.
"The first target..."
"The One-Tail Jinchūriki in Sunagakure!"
The One-Tail?
While it didn't seem particularly strong, Hidan still found it acceptable.
"Let us handle it!"
As Hidan spoke, Sasori prepared to interject.
Since it involved Sunagakure, it made sense for him to go.
"No... I'll go!"
Sasuke suddenly spoke, causing Hidan to freeze for a mont.
The other Akatsuki mbers also began scrutinizing Sasuke.
Kakuzu frowned. "Kid... Do you really think you're capable of capturing the One-Tail?"
