"That kid... he's really sothing."
Dodai, the Third Raikage's right-hand man, narrowed his eyes as he watched Guts engage in a brutal clash with the Raikage off in the distance.
Whoosh!
A streak of lightning flashed across the battlefield. Dodai's eyes widened.
"No way... that sword technique! Konoha's White Fang!?"
But before he could process the sight, a cold voice snapped him back.
"You've got ti to worry about others right now, Dodai?"
White Fang stood a short distance away, his usual calm replaced by an icy deanor.
His expression was unreadable, and his killing intent seeped into the air like a blade ready to cut.
"Lightning Release: Lightning Sword Strike!"
Another figure shot in from the side—fast, precise, and full of rage.
White Fang turned his blade with practiced ease, catching the elbow strike with the flat of his sword. His tone remained cold as his eyes locked with his new attacker.
"You must be the son of the Third Raikage."
"Enough talk!" Ai growled.
"Your fight is with , White Fang of Konoha!"
"Your strength isn't bad," White Fang responded flatly.
"But you're not ready for this fight."
With a sharp twist of his arm, he forced Ai back several ters.
"Damn you! You Konoha shinobi piss off!"
A bellow echoed across the battlefield. Enormous octopus-like tentacles ca crashing down from the other side.
White Fang responded instantly. Channeling lightning chakra through his blade, his form blurred as he sliced through the tentacles with clean, calculated strikes.
He stepped back, eyes narrowing.
"Eight Tails Jinchūriki, huh... Looks like this side's no easier than dealing with the Raikage himself."
anwhile, in another part of the battlefield, Guts and the Third Raikage continued their bone-shattering clash.
There wasn't a single soul within two to three hundred ters, the sheer force of their battle had cleared the surroundings.
Most people believed taijutsu was limited to fists and feet. But these two...
Each blow they exchanged carried shockwaves rivaling A-rank ninjutsu.
"Guillotine Drop!!"
The Third Raikage's booming voice rang out as he leapt high into the air, slamming his right foot down like a falling mountain.
Guts crossed his arms to block the strike.
BOOM!
The ground beneath him sank over 20 centiters from the sheer impact.
"Tekkai!"
His muscles hardened like iron, converting defense into offense in a single motion.
But even that was only enough to break through the Lightning Release armor! his real body was still far tougher.
This was a man who had once tanked a Rasenshuriken.
"No more playing around, brat!"
The Raikage twisted mid-air, grabbed Guts by the shoulders, and hurled him down with full force.
"Lightning Blast!!!"
BOOM!!!
A crater a hundred ters wide exploded into jagged rubble. Dust and debris filled the air.
"He got him!"
Cheers erupted from the Cloud Shinobi.
Konoha's shinobi clenched their fists anxiously.
But as the dust settled, a shadow erged...standing firm.
Guts rose, upper body pressed against the broken ground, his back cloaked in a pure black energy that shimred ominously! completely unscathed.
"When Cloud Shinobi fight, is all that yelling really necessary?" Guts muttered with a smirk.
"So noisy."
He pushed off the ground and launched a counterattack.
CRACK!
His right foot shot upward, slamming into the Raikage's chin with brutal force.
Taking advantage of the montary daze, Guts twisted in midair.
The Gate of Opening—Open!
Whoosh!
He vanished.
A blur appeared behind the Raikage almost instantly.
"Soru."
Faster than ever.
"Let's see how you like it."
He grabbed the Raikage's shoulders—just as the Raikage had done to him, and slamd him into the earth with terrifying force.
"Lightning Blast Bullet!"
It was the sa move the Raikage had just used, but without chakra.
Instead, Guts added raw power and Armant Haki. The result was just as destructive.
BOOM!!!
Another crater erupted, devastating the terrain.
"Lord Raikage!"
Now it was the Cloud shinobi's turn to panic.
The Raikage lay in the rubble, unmoving.
But in the silence, arcs of lightning crackled from the shattered ground.
Guts narrowed his eyes.
A figure rose from the rubble.
The Raikage—still standing, his right hand now shaped into a blade, lightning bursting around it violently.
"That technique..."
"The Hell Stab!" a Cloud shinobi scread.
Guts watched with interest.
Then...he laughed.
"So this is the move that gave you that scar, huh? Pretty careless. I'd say... stupid, even."
The Raikage's face twisted.
"How... how do you know about that?"
The wound on his chest twinged involuntarily. That scar...self-inflicted during a fight with the Eight Tails, was a secret buried even from his own son. Only he rembered the sha.
'Impossible… Can this kid read minds?'
But Guts gave no answer.
"Second Gate: The Gate of Rest—Open!"
His body surged with new strength. The air rippled around him.
"Falling teor Fist!"
He rocketed forward, his fists glowing with sheer destructive power.
"Enough of this! You die here brat!"
The Raikage roared and charged as well, lightning howling around his hand.
