Although the two of them weren't big-na pirates, Whisky Peak was already a poor place.

Under the Baroque Works organization led by Crocodile, this branch was at the very bottom, its conditions harsh, its mbers desperate.

So when they saw such a large ship with only Guts and Nami aboard neither of whom looked particularly intimidating, it was natural for the locals to get so ill-intentioned ideas.

"Annoying pests… let's shut them up."

Guts rose to his feet.

Because of the Log Pose, they had to stay here for a while. But that didn't an he had any intention of tolerating those disgusting stares.

The next mont, an invisible wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded from him, sweeping across the entire town like a tidal wave.

The eyes of countless Baroque Works mbers rolled white. One after another, they collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

"Uwaaah—amazing! E-Everyone just fainted! What happened?!"

Nami's jaw dropped at the sight of the pirate hunters in the harbor dropping like flies.

"It's boring to sit around on the ship anyway. Let's move their money and food."

Guts casually pulled Nami by the hand.

It was his punishnt for the way they'd been looking at them with those filthy eyes.

Honestly, he thought it was letting them off cheap.

Nami hesitated. "Is it really okay to just take people's things while they're knocked out?"

Guts laughed. "This from the Little Thief Cat who started her career stealing like this? Don't you think it's the thief crying 'thief'?"

"Ugh, don't remind !" Nami snapped, cheeks puffed. "I did all that to save my village. I don't steal wallets anymore!"

That much was true, ever since she'd been with Guts, she hadn't once tried to pick his pocket.

"Then you don't want these treasures?" Guts pressed, raising an eyebrow.

Nami froze for only a second before bolting toward the town. "Hurry, hurry! It'll be bad if they wake up!"

These people weren't good guys anyway. With that thought, her guilt evaporated.

Guts chuckled to himself. And maybe because of monts like this… he found Nami all the more interesting to have by his side.

Two hours later.

Nami was sniffling, holding a burlap sack to her chest and pouting. "A whole town, and it's worth less than five million Berries… what a dump."

anwhile, Guts was hauling casks of wine from the tavern to their ship. "And now you know why they were staring at us so hungrily."

Together, the two of them had practically ransacked Whisky Peak of everything valuable leaving behind only part of the food and water.

Of course, it wasn't out of kindness. The ship's storage simply couldn't hold any more.

"Still, even if it isn't much, a mosquito's leg is still at. With this, you can buy two sets of high-class dresses and so perfu."

At that, Nami's frown vanished, replaced by a laugh.

"Next ti, let pick so clothes for you."

Guts smirked strangely as he pulled Nami into his arms.

After all, the cultural side of this world was much richer than in the shinobi lands. Nurse uniforms, maid outfits, bunny suits… even those existed here.

And with Nami's figure and fiery temperant, he thought she would look absolutely perfect in any of them.

"You're definitely thinking sothing perverted again, aren't you? I don't even want to imagine it."

Nami rolled her eyes and quickly slipped out of his embrace.

But the ease of it startled her. Normally, Guts wouldn't let her escape so easily, he'd at least tease or bully her a little.

Why did he just let her go this ti?

"Co out." Guts's voice was calm, indifferent.

Nami blinked in confusion, then a sweet, almost playful laugh rang out.

"Ara… so sharp. How did you notice ?"

Looking up, Nami's eyes widened.

On the observation deck at the top of the warship's cannon sat a tall woman with flowing black hair, wearing a sharp suit-style outfit paired with a cowboy hat.

She leaned forward, resting her elegant face in both hands, gazing down at them with a mysterious smile.

Her mature beauty carried a kind of allure—she looked a few years younger than Guts, but her charm was undeniable.

"When did she get here? I didn't even notice…" Nami's breath caught.

Nico Robin.

Right now, she was still the vice president of Baroque Works, known by her codena: Miss All Sunday.

"It's quite a sight," Robin said softly, her eyes narrowing with interest. "To knock out so many people at once… what kind of ability is that?"

Her tone was curious, but her gaze was sharp. She suspected it had to be so kind of Devil Fruit power, the type that could make crowds faint in an instant.

Nami was still frozen in astonishnt, but a few seconds later she found her voice.

"Who are you? Are you working with these people?!"

The corners of Robin's lips curved in a subtle smile.

"Well… in a sense, yes. They're my subordinates. And since you've hurt them, you've hurt my feelings, you know?"

"You stood above so boldly…" Guts said in his usual calm tone. "No one's dared to do that in years."

Then he looked up at Robin on the observation deck, his grin wide.

"The last person who pulled that little stunt ended up paralyzed for life. You know?"

Robin's pupils narrowed slightly.

Like most people, she judged a person's strength by their bounty and reputation.

This man wasn't wearing a Marine uniform, nor was he listed among the big pirates with nas that shook the seas.

Naturally, she assud Guts wasn't anyone to take seriously.

After all, she herself carried a bounty of 79 million Berries. While she wouldn't claim to be invincible, her power was considered solid upper-middle class for the first half of the Grand Line.

Her way of judging strength was indeed correct… when it ca to ordinary n.

But Guts was not ordinary. He was an outsider, soone who couldn't be asured by this world's scales.

Treating him that way was nothing short of digging your own grave.

"Ara… you really are an interesting gentleman."

Robin chuckled softly. "I'm just curious about what kind of ability you used. That's all. No deeper aning, and certainly not..."

Her words cut off as her slender fingers twitched.

In the blink of an eye, an arm blood into existence on Guts's shoulder. A delicate woman's hand coiled around his throat, ready to squeeze the life out of him.

Nami gasped in shock. "W-What is that?!"

Robin's smile deepened.

"You knocked my subordinates unconscious and looted their belongings. If anyone here is at a disadvantage… it's you."

Guts let out a slow sigh, his tone carrying a trace of helpless amusent.

"Hey, Nami… why is it that soone always feels the need to ss with ?"
