Soon after, Guts, Shisui, and Hinata arrived at a quiet waterfall stream. The sound of rushing water filled the air, mist clinging lightly to the rocks.
For Hinata, this place felt familiar—almost nostalgic. For Shisui, though, it was his first ti seeing it, and the beauty left him a little stunned.
On the way here, Guts had shared what he intended to do. Shisui had been flabbergasted at first, but in the end, he chose to believe in his sensei.
Of course, Guts hadn't co this far without making preparations. Before setting out, he had already spoken with Minato, explaining his intentions.
Though Minato had voiced his concerns, in the end he agreed, even contacting the other village Kages just in case unrest followed Guts actions.
The walk to the waterfall hadn't been silent either.
"So, Shisui," Guts asked casually, hands tucked behind his head, "how's married life treating you? Don't tell you're still the sa awkward kid who didn't know how to hold hands properly."
Shisui's face imdiately flushed. "S-Sensei! That was years ago! Why would you even bring that up now?"
"Hahaha! I knew it, you're still hopeless." Guts grinned, clearly enjoying himself. "Poor Yuki must be the one carrying the whole relationship."
"Th-that's not true!" Shisui stamred, flustered.
"I've gotten better!"
Hinata, walking a step behind, covered her lips with a soft smile, her eyes shining with quiet amusent at their banter.
By the ti they reached the stream, Shisui's expression had settled back into seriousness.
"Sensei… are you sure about this? I—I don't an to doubt you, but isn't this too dangerous?" he asked, his hesitation clear.
"Don't worry," Guts replied, waving a hand with his usual confidence. "I know my limits. This isn't sothing I can't handle."
Hinata didn't say a word. She didn't need to. She had complete trust in Guts. If he said it could be done, then it could.
Not to ntion… she clenched her fists lightly, determination burning in her chest.
'I'm strong too now. If anything happens, I'll protect Guts-sensei.'
Her white eyes softened as they lingered on him, filled with both love and resolve.
Shisui didn't question anything further. He knew all too well... once his sensei decided on sothing, no one could change it.
Not to ntion, Guts had the power to back it up. In this world, there wasn't a single soul who could truly stand against him.
---
The roar of the waterfall echoed around them as the three stood by the stream.
Shisui's eyes narrowed as he watched the strange current. "So… this really is the place, huh? To think it leads all the way to the moon…"
His voice carried a hint of disbelief, though he had already accepted Guts words.
Even so, the thought left him shaken. Traveling beyond the world itself—how could anyone take that lightly?
Hinata, however, showed no sign of surprise. Her expression was calm, steady. She had seen this place before, years ago, and she understood what it ant.
There was no hesitation in her steps as she moved closer to Guts' side.
"Don't overthink it, Shisui," Guts said with a grin, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Just follow my lead."
Shisui exhaled slowly, then nodded. "Right… I trust you, Sensei."
Without another word, the three stepped forward into the current.
The water shimred, pulling them in with a force beyond nature, and in the blink of an eye their surroundings twisted into dazzling light. The world spun for a heartbeat—then stilled.
When their vision cleared, they were no longer on Earth.
The vast, barren surface of the moon stretched out before them, silent and endless under a sky full of stars.
Shisui's breath caught. His eyes widened as he slowly turned, taking in the barren landscape. "So this… this is really the moon. To think we'd actually set foot here…" His voice carried both awe and disbelief.
Guts, on the other hand, stretched his arms behind his head with a grin, as if he'd just co ho after a long walk. "Hahaha… been a while. I almost forgot how quiet it is up here."
Hinata's white eyes softened as she gazed around the desolate plain. She too felt that quiet nostalgia.
It had been years since she last saw this place, yet the silence, the stillness… it was all the sa.
"Yes… it hasn't changed at all," she murmured gently.
Shisui glanced between them, startled. "Wait—you've both been here before?"
Although Guts had told him about this place and the way to get there, he still thought it was Guts-sensei's Observation Haki doing the work.
Not like they had actually been here before.
Guts just smirked. "Sothing like that. You'll get used to it."
Shisui frowned, clearly itching with curiosity, but before he could press further, Guts started walking forward, his coat brushing against the dustless ground.
"Co on. We didn't co all this way to stand around staring at rocks."
Hinata followed with steady steps, her expression calm, while Shisui lingered a mont longer, staring at the distant Earth before finally trailing after them.
Suddenly, Guts halted mid-step.
In the next instant, scarlet lightning exploded from his body, stretching across the void in a single straight line.
The air itself seed to shatter under the weight of his will... Advanced Conqueror's Haki unleashed without restraint.
The blast shot outward, tearing through the silence of the moon, just like when the Red-Haired Emperor himself unleashed his will.
It struck deep into the lunar surface... right where Toneri resided.
The man barely had a chance to sense the presence before it hit him square on.
His body jerked violently, his vision whited out, and in the next instant he collapsed, unconscious before he even understood what had happened.
"…"
Guts exhaled and smirked. "I've really been wanting to try that for a while now… WiFi Haki."
He cracked his neck, satisfied, as if he had just swatted a pesky fly.
With that "fodder" dealt with, he drew a deeper breath and turned. His sharp gaze landed on Shisui and Hinata both of whom were still a little stunned by what they'd just witnessed.
One look was all it took.
They understood instantly and moved without hesitation.
Shisui's eyes narrowed as his Susanoo flared to life. A towering Perfect Body Susanoo erged, its massive form radiating in the void.
It stood guard in space itself, its blade ready, waiting exactly as Guts had instructed.
Hinata floated slightly upward, her Tenseigan glowing brilliantly. Her chakra swirled around her in rippling waves, her body prepared to shift into Tenseigan Chakra Mode at a mont's notice.
Her role in this was critical, and she knew it.
There was no room for doubt.
I won't let Guts-sensei down.
Her eyes shone with resolve as she positioned herself at his side, steady and unwavering.
