Naruto: Reborn with the Template System Chapter 204 - 201: Uchiha Sasuke Who Pulled Up and Got Jumpe

The eternal flas of Amaterasu burned fiercely in the heart of Konoha.

Sasuke's Susanoo, now in its third form, stood tall in the center. Its left hand cradled a ball of Amaterasu's black fire while its right wielded a massive chakra sword.

Surrounding him were Shisui of the Anbu, Uzuki Yugao, Anko, and the younger generation of Konoha. Despite their numbers, none dared to recklessly charge the blazing warrior.

Truth be told, Sasuke's actual strength in base form hadn't reached full Kage-level...he was only at a quasi-Kage level.

But with Susanoo reinforced by Amaterasu flas, he was nearly untouchable. Getting hit by Amaterasu practically ant death.

Shisui frowned beneath his mask. The third form armored Susanoo was the highest form attainable by standard Mangekyō Sharingan users. It was also the level both he and Itachi could wield.

Sasuke shouldn't have been able to reach this form yet. But clearly, he had transplanted Itachi's eyes much sooner than expected.

"Sasuke! Itachi left you his eyes not for this madness!"

Shisui's voice rang out, trying to reach the heart of the boy who once followed behind his brother.

"This village…"

Sasuke muttered, eyes cast downward. Then, his head shot up...cold fury in his gaze.

The flas of Amaterasu intensified, and with a chilling roar, he shouted:

"Everything in this village disgusts ! I'll see it wiped out! Let it die so the Uchiha can be reborn in purity!"

The Amaterasu flas surged, shaping into a burning blade, then slashed down toward Rock Lee, Haruno Sakura, and the others in his path.

"Sasuke!!!"

Sakura scread, tears streaming down her face. This reunion, this was what it had co to?

Bang!!!

Before the flaming blade could land, a spiraling chakra lance intercepted it, dispersing the Amaterasu strike into harmless sparks.

Everyone turned.

A massive green Susanoo stood between them and death.

"W-What!?" Rock Lee stamred.

Sakura's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Who is that!? Another Susanoo?! Sa as Sasuke's!?" Inuzuka Kiba shouted.

Whispers swept through the group, who was this new figure?

"Shisui! You want to stop !?"

Sasuke roared in fury. He had already guessed from the masked man's voice, but this confird it. The one opposing him now… was Shisui.

"I made my choice, Sasuke. I choose to protect Konoha. I won't betray Itachi's will."

Shisui's voice was firm.

"The Uchiha's destruction was seeded in the era this village was founded. Your hatred is misdirected. The current Konoha isn't your enemy."

"Then die with it!!!"

Sasuke hurled Susanoo's flaming sword toward him.

Lacking the Eternal Mangekyō, Shisui knew he couldn't block it head-on. Instead, he dismissed his full-body Susanoo and used only a skeletal arm to deflect the attack.

The strike shattered the arm, but Shisui dodged just in ti.

He weaved hand signs rapidly. "Wind Style—Wind Slash!"

Shing—!!

The ground beneath Sasuke exploded into bladed gusts. Sharp wind slashed across his body, tearing into flesh and armor.

"Urgh!!!"

Sasuke cried out as his Susanoo was forced back down into its second form.

BOOM!

Shisui's Susanoo returned in full, drill poised—

CRASH!

The second-form Susanoo was cleaved clean in two.

"Don't kill him!!!"

Sakura scread.

Shisui heard. He tilted his attack just enough to spare Sasuke's life.

Despite the Eternal Mangekyō's lack of side effects, Sasuke was now seriously injured. He leapt from Susanoo, staggering backward.

He stumbled right toward Sakura.

"Sasuke-kun!"

She rushed forward, arms out.

But Sasuke turned, grabbed her with one hand, and hurled her at Shisui.

"Get lost."

His voice was cold. rciless.

Shisui caught her with Susanoo's other arm.

Suddenly

"Tensu Wave teor Light!!"

A girl's voice rang out. Tiny hands ford a seal, palms facing Sasuke.

Hanabi had arrived.

Spikes of chakra erupted from her in a torrent, lashing toward Sasuke in a deadly storm.

Sasuke's eyes widened.

"You!?"

He hadn't expected the once little girl to be this powerful now.

Had it been Itachi, he would've dodged using swift evasion techniques. But Sasuke…

He reford Susanoo.

And chose to tank it head-on.
