A samurai took Guts to a conference room.
Fifth Kazekage Gaara, with his elder sister Temari and brother Kankuro standing on either side, was already seated.
Fifth Tsuchikage Kurotsuchi was accompanied by her guards: the terracotta and Wenda, who had also followed her to Konoha last ti to sign the alliance treaty.
Fifth Mizukage Terumi i, upon seeing Guts enter, seductively tapped her red lips with her finger and blew him a kiss.
Unlike in the original tiline, her guard this ti wasn't Chojuro, but Suigetsu, another mber of the Seven Ninja Swordsn.
The initiator of this conference, Fourth Raikage, brought the sa entourage as before: his guards were the future Fifth Raikage Darui and the sensor ninja C.
Seeing Guts in place of Namikaze Minato made everyone present glance around with curiosity.
"Isn't it supposed to be Namikaze Minato?" Raikage asked, though his tone was less hostile than expected.
Apparently, Samui had conveyed Guts's warning effectively.
While Guts considered him a brute, Raikage clearly wasn't completely out of touch with reality.
"Haha, our Hokage couldn't make it because sothing ca up with his wife. So I'm here in his place," Guts said with a smirk, casually sitting down in the Hokage's seat.
"Never seen her before."
Kankuro and Temari, who had t Guts before, shifted their attention to Konan. So did several others.
To act as a shadow's guard, a person had to be at least elite Jōnin level. Such shinobi were often well-known, yet no one had ever seen or heard of the blue-haired woman accompanying Guts.
They'd never guess she was once one of the core mbers of Akatsuki.
Just then, Mifune, leader of the Iron Country, entered and formally declared, "Thank you all for coming. I now declare the Five Kage Summit officially open."
Terumi i smiled slightly. "We're all here for one reason, right? To take down Akatsuki. What used to be a rogue ninja group is now sothing the entire shinobi world fears."
Konan remained unmoved, her expression cold and detached.
Gaara leaned forward, fingers interlocked. "As a forr Jinchūriki, I can say this: Akatsuki extracted the tailed beast from . If I hadn't survived by sheer luck, I'd be dead. Taking them down is non-negotiable."
BANG!!!
Before Gaara could finish, Raikage slamd the table in fury.
"One of Akatsuki's rogues ca from your village! And now—"
But before he could finish, all the Kage guards drew weapons or flared their chakra.
Those with Kage-level strength imdiately locked onto Hinata and Konan.
The room tensed.
Two new Kage-level chakra signatures!
Everyone was stunned. They knew of Guts, Minato, Tsunade, and Jiraiya. Now Konoha had two more?
"Are you kidding ?" Even Temari, an ally, whispered to herself in shock. "They're using Kage-level shinobi as guards?"
C muttered, "Konoha Village is just stacked with monsters."
From the days of the White Fang and Sannin to the era of Minato and Guts and now these two unknown powerhouses Konoha was a village that never stopped producing legends.
Guts cracked his neck and said nonchalantly, "Before we talk about dealing with Akatsuki, maybe we should discuss the Four Nations allying to wipe out Cloud Shinobi?"
The Cloud team imdiately froze, faces pale.
Darui tried to diate. "Lord Guts, Raikage just lost his temper because his brother was taken. It wasn't ant seriously."
Guts arched an eyebrow and gave a crooked smile. "Really? Then maybe you should help him calm down. If I get pissed, soone might die."
Darui and C stepped back, no longer daring to argue.
Raikage, fuming, clenched his fists... but he sat down.
"Too aweso..." Suigetsu muttered, thoroughly impressed.
"Alright, let's get to the point," Guts said.
At that, all guards sheathed their weapons and stepped back behind their respective Kage.
"I'm not here to nitpick over the past. I don't care who captured which tailed beast. What I care about is ending Akatsuki. And frankly, I'm annoyed their leader slipped away from ."
"That's... shocking," Kurotsuchi said, blinking. "Soone escaped you?"
Gaara turned. "Lord Guts, what do you propose?"
"They've collected eight of the nine beasts. Konoha's hiding the Nine Tails Jinchūriki. The five villages unite and crush Akatsuki. It's simple."
He shot a glance toward the Cloud Shinobi again.
"Or we can go Four Villages only. I'm fine with that too."
Guts wasn't interested in dragging out debates. He left the choice to the others.
Kurotsuchi asked, "Are all five villages really needed? They only have a few mbers left, even with the Eight Tails. Wouldn't an elite strike force suffice?"
Terumi i countered with a smile. "Don't underestimate Akatsuki, Little Tsuchikage. They once controlled the Fourth Mizukage and plunged our village into the Blood Mist for over a decade."
BOOM.
Suddenly, the ground trembled.
"What's going on?" Mifune stood up, frowning.
"Report! Soone's breached the periter, their identity is—"
The samurai didn't finish. A body phased through the wall, slowly erging.
"No need to shout...I'm already here~~."
