"Che!"
The tall, muscular man spat into the ground.
"Just know you'll be paying extra for this when we get back. I don't want Konoha's dogs pursuing our asses if we decide to keep up the act. Kirisa, Hisa! Let's go."
The lazy, masked man rolled over and groaned.
"Can't we just... sleep for the night? We'll have to infiltrate past the border tomorrow into the land of grass." *Yawn* "You don't want making any mistakes, do you?"
Hisa added, "I'm sorry, Murasa-sama. That slave... Sothing about him just 'really' ticked off!"
Murasa gave her a glare, "I'm still not sure what you had against the guy, but what you did to him was not just to the point of being *ticked off*. What in the hell did he do to you...?"
The girl just smiled, "I don't know."
"That's sothing I'd expect from Kirisa, not you."
"Oi! Don't bring into this."
"...We just need to go. Konoha will be sending a full Chunin team soon thanks to this stunt Hisa pulled. Why can't we just steal normally? At the very most in that case, only a few Genin would be sent to investigate..."
The woman got up, fixing her hair and examining her skin. There was blood, dried blood all over her. Why hadn't she noticed? Hisa knew the answer. She had felt nothing but joy when she was manically stabbing the man. Even though she was normally so particular about how she looked, she just wasn't in control.
"Murasa, I'm fucking disgusting. That goddamn pig got his guts all over . Give so ti to clean up."
Kirisa rolled up onto his ass and gave her a sideways glare. "Can't you just use the transformation Jutsu or sothing? No one will care."
"Shut up asshole! What about the stench! It's horrible!"
Kirisa was confused, "Didn't you think about that when you were literally bathing in his guts?"
Seeing that Murasa hadn't intervened, she ignored the question and walked out of the campsite, cursing under her breath. The refugees had chosen a campsite near a stream, but not near enough to run into animals in need of a drink. Hisa approached it, bent down, and cupped water over her face.
She was not prepared at all for the hand that gripped her head. Pulling her up from the stream, emanating a soft light. Her heart lurched in terror, and she stabbed the figure behind her with her Kunai. There was no scream, no shout of pain. The figure turned into black mud and disappeared, taking her Kunai with it.
"MURASA! KIRISA! ENEMY ATTACK!!!"
She jumped through the trees as fast as she could. In monts she was in front of the campsite. The two were peacefully chatting, as if they had not heard her. Hisa grew angry.
"Kirisa, stop playing around! I was ambushed by so sort of mud clone. Get ready to fight!"
The two continued to ignore her, as if she was not even there. Sothing was wrong, very wrong. Suddenly Hisa was pulled, flying through the trees, pulled all the way back to the stream. A woman with white eyes cradled her helpless head by the chin, smiling. Her emotionless, pupilless eyes caused her to scream. There was a blue light, and her eyes rolled back into her head.
Saul and Hinata had a very different perspective. He ambushed the woman with the mind body palm and restrained her for Hinata. The girl cupped her chin and knocked her out with the gentle fist. That was all. It was quick, silent, and efficient.
"Two more."
The two vanished. Ti was now of the essence.
"Hinata. Shoot."
The girl and all the clones that had surrounded the camp fired. 9 arrows flew, all with the sa target, the muscle-head leader they called Murasa. They were not practice arrows either. Saul did not know the strength of their target - it had been so long he'd forgotten any relevant details about the man.
However, ninja team leaders tended to be much stronger than any of their mbers; Saul wasn't about to take any risks. It would be highly foolish if they ended up failing because he wanted to 'preserve' the enemy for later testing.
Murasa's eyes widened, sensing sothing was wrong. He leapt to the side, moving out of the way of two of the arrows, and deflected an arrow that was heading towards his throat. That was all he had ti to do. The other five arrows pierced deeply into his side, his leg, his back, his arm and his torso.
The man's dying scream was gurgled as blood leaked into his lungs. He twisted and twitched on the ground; his powerful muscles flexing and writhing uselessly in agony.
The last ninja, Kirisa, imdiately leapt back and summoned a water tentacle. His eyes darted around in a panic, and his heavy breathing was muffled by his mask. Kirisa felt like he was about to faint. Where had all those arrows co from? How many of them were there? Was he going to die!? Saul's voice sounded behind him.
"Surrender and we won't have to kill you."
Kirisa whipped around, raising his arms up to protect himself in fear. He was just a Genin when he left Agakure! He still had so many things he wanted to do! Murasa was so strong, yet look how he ended up. B-bastards!
"YES YES I SURRENDER!"
He unsummoned his water tentacle.
"DON'T KILL PLEASE!"
"THEN GET ON THE GROUND! ARMS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!"
Kirisa hesitated. Wait, didn't he have a bounty? Wouldn't they just kill him if he surrendered? He glanced at the now chillingly silent Murasa, twitching as blood gushed out of him.
*Thunk*
"Hiiiii!!!"
An arrow pierced into a nearby tree. He wasn't even able to react! Kirisa understood the ssage. Even if he resisted, he'd die anyway!
Kirisa practically tripped, lying face down on the ground. He put his arms behind his head and closed his eyes.
"Please... Please..."
There was a blue flash as he too was knocked unconscious. That was all of them.
"I did well, right Saul-kun?"
A Hinata put away her bow and leaned on a nearby Saul. She completely ignored the twitching man, who was already laying in a pool of his own blood.
"Of course you did, Hinata. I didn't even have to do anything."
She smiled shyly. "I rembered Saul-kun. You told never to hold back, so I didn't. Even though the man looked so weak, I killed him just for you~❤️"
Saul couldn't help but be a little uncomfortable. Hinata was not the type to kill anyone in the original series, yet...
"Hinata, why don't the two of us dispel ourselves, so our main bodies will be inford of our success?"
"Wait... I-I want sothing first."
"What is it, Hinata...?"
"Give a hug."
"Huh? We're just clones though. Don't you want to do that kind of thing in our real bodies instead?"
Hinata shook her head. "Saul-kun, I d-don't like killing. I don't want the last mory I bring back to be of that man." She stepped closer, pressing up against him. "I want you. I want the last thing I think about is being in your arms."
Saul smiled warmly. This was his Hinata. He picked her up and hugged her tightly. They stayed like this for a few minutes.
"Aren't you going to dispel yourself?"
"Not yet, Saul-kun. Just a little while longer."
