His fists clenched tightly, knuckles turning white.
Suppressing the emotions in his heart, Kaito turned Shisui over to make the idiot more comfortable before summoning his "Left and Right Guardians."
One after another, golden light spheres were spat onto Shisui's body to heal him.

"Is that... Itachi?"
After recovering, Shisui struggled to adapt to his blindness and imdiately called out Itachi's na.
"Why did you save ?"
"You know this will only make—"

With an expressionless face, Kaito grabbed Shisui by the collar and punched him hard in the face.
After taking the hit, Shisui seed to realize sothing. A brief look of surprise flashed across his face before his sunny smile returned.
Kaito yanked his collar again, steadied him, and then began punching him repeatedly, left and right.
With each blow, Shisui maintained his smile, as if it were the only way to keep himself from looking too pathetic.
He didn't fight back, just waited quietly.
A long ti later, Kaito finally stopped beating Shisui. He stood still, arms hanging limply at his sides, his fists now a bloody ss.

Beating soone up was sotis a skill, but all Kaito felt was resentnt toward this guy. It seed like the only way to vent his emotions.

His voice was hoarse, nothing like a six-year-old's.

That sunny, optimistic, cheerful boy next door—maybe, just maybe, because of his presence, there was a sliver of hope Shisui wouldn't do sothing so foolish.

He shouldn't have assud Shisui was that smart.
Even though this guy was so strong...
Did he really have to end things by seeking death?
Shisui listened to the scolding seriously, giving Kaito the respect he deserved and accepting all his fury.
Only after the silence returned did Shisui finally speak.
"Kaito, so things aren't as simple as you think."
