The trial set by the Sect's ancestor was finally completed.
However, the process was rather convoluted. Kaito and Nagato didn't even have ti to discuss tactics. Right after concluding that their Chakra couldn't be exhausted, they were pinned to the ground and beaten rcilessly by a furious Uchiha Hikari.
Fuming at the foolish, life-threatening behavior, Uchiha Hikari was beside herself with rage. Not only did she pin the boy down, but she also cursed nonstop.
She even subjected Kaito to multiple "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu" moves, leaving him flushed and his eyes rolling back several tis.
Not from being choked, though...
As soone who had reached peak Foundation Establishnt...
He didn't even need to breathe.
Nagato also took a beating. Despite being as powerful as a god, when faced with Konan's wrath, he rely snorted a few tis and obediently endured the punishnt.
The self-proclaid god didn't even dare to argue, unlike Kaito, who kept talking back while being beaten...
Half an hour later.
Konan and Hikari stord off, leaving the two hapless brothers sitting on a stone bench. Though their faces bore no injuries, their disheveled appearance spoke volus of their misery.
Nagato sat silently, glancing at Kaito, who was still grinning foolishly, and subtly scooted away.
This guy...
Had just humiliated a god.
Unaware of Nagato's disdain, Kaito grinned widely as he read the system notification.
[Congratulations on completing the mission.][Reward: A Lightning Attribute Scripture Pavilion Magical Artifact]
The system's reward was unusually straightforward, devoid of its usual deceptive traits. The pagoda lying in the backpack resembled the ancient towers from his past life.
The entire artifact shimred with golden light, and just one glance told Kaito that this Magical Artifact must be incredibly valuable.
"I have nothing else to do..."
"I'll go back to train now."
Nagato, his face pale, supported himself on his knees as he spoke and prepared to leave. But the mont he took his first step, Kaito suddenly called out to him.
"Don't be angry just yet..."
Kaito first tried to placate Nagato before pulling out the Magical Artifact and holding it up in his palm. His tone suddenly beca solemn and elevated.
"Through the unrelenting efforts of this Heaven's Chosen, the Scripture Pavilion has finally been successfully refined!"
Nagato turned his head slightly, glancing at the "toy" in the boy's hand. If not for the fact that his Samsara Eyes made it difficult to roll them, he would have done so to express just how absurd he found this situation.
Even Nagato, a seasoned sufferer of teenage chuunibyou, felt that Uchiha Kaito's brain must be slightly malfunctioning at this mont.
"I'm leaving."
Nagato turned and walked away without the slightest intention of staying to converse with Kaito. It was clear that today, he was genuinely angry.
Because he couldn't shake the feeling that this kid was treating him like a fool.
BOOM—
Just as Nagato took his second step, the pagoda in Kaito's hand slipped free. Under the influence of spiritual energy, the originally palm-sized pagoda suddenly expanded.
In an instant, it transford into a towering structure a hundred ters tall. As it crashed down, it tore up three layers of the surrounding earth and destroyed a third of Agakure's long-standing greenery efforts.
Nagato instinctively raised his arms to shield himself from the wind and blinding golden light. When his vision cleared and he saw the colossal pagoda before him, he whipped his head back to stare at Uchiha Kaito, then back at the pagoda.
After repeating this motion a few tis, Nagato even secretly pinched his own thigh to confirm he wasn't hallucinating.
"What the hell did you do now?!"
The sudden tremor in the village quickly drew Uchiha Hikari and Konan, who had only just left, back to investigate. The words they had been about to say died in their throats the mont they saw the hundred-ter-tall tower.
"Subarashi..."
"The Akatsuki Organization truly never ceases to amaze."
But then, a hoarse yet magnetic voice suddenly echoed around them. The next mont, a pale man with long, straight black hair erged from the shadows.
"Orochimaru?"
Konan imdiately stepped in front of Nagato, her sharp gaze locking onto the approaching figure.
"What are you doing here?"
Due to their irresponsible leader's five-year disappearance, the Akatsuki mbers still believed the enigmatic Pain was in charge.
But Orochimaru's vertical serpentine pupils seed to see through everything.
He flicked out his long tongue, tracing it along his lips, and when his gaze inadvertently fell upon the red-haired boy's Samsara Eyes, his smile widened.
"Kukuku... What a twist of fate."
Clearly, he had already realized that this mysterious Akatsuki Organization was founded by the very children Jiraiya had once taught.
"mbers of the Akatsuki Organization aren't restricted in their movents, are they?"Orochimaru replied softly, his gaze sweeping over the crowd before finally settling on the distant golden tower.
Summoning jutsu?
No, there was no trace of chakra.
A new ninjutsu, perhaps?
He had been lurking here ever since those two powerful chakra surges erupted into the sky earlier.
At first, Orochimaru had been lost in thought over the terms 'Cultivation of Immortality' and 'Sect's Heaven's Chosen' in their conversation. But as ti passed...
The clever Snake Sage began to question his own existence, feeling that even with his intellect, he couldn't comprehend the world as seen by these two... patients.
Just as he was about to leave the scene...
That golden tower appeared.
"Orochimaru, I warn you..."
"Don't get any ideas you shouldn't have."
Konan's sharp voice rang out, her eyes filled with hostility. Sensing her animosity, Hikari imdiately stepped in front of Kaito, glaring intently at the snake-like man.
Orochimaru glanced at the tower a few more tis before shifting his gaze to the teenage boy, letting out a strange chuckle before speaking.
"If you encounter any trouble..."
"As a mber of the Akatsuki Organization, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand."

[Mission: The sect is newly established, making it the perfect ti to recruit talents. Now, a mysterious alchemist from the Cultivation of Immortality world has co knocking. Provide him with dicinal ingredients to showcase the sect's profound heritage.]
Kaito: ?
This ti, the mission was triggered automatically, leaving Kaito bewildered. The way he looked at the Snake Sage made even Orochimaru, a self-proclaid eccentric, feel unsettled.
Perfect!
You ca to on your own! Can't say I forced you into this!
Kaito thought to himself. Before anyone could react, he dashed forward, grabbed Orochimaru's hand, and shook it vigorously.
"Greetings, esteed Alchemist!"
"I am this sect's Heaven's Chosen!"
Orochimaru: ?
At these words, Uchiha Hikari, Konan, and even Nagato took a synchronized step back, distancing themselves from the boy as if to say they had nothing to do with this embarrassing individual.
But Kaito wasn't done. He pointed at Nagato and introduced him to Orochimaru.
"That's our sect leader."
Having just been beaten up earlier, Kaito didn't dare introduce the 'Ancestor,' nor did he particularly want to explain anything to the Snake Sage.
Even the worldly-wise Orochimaru found his brain short-circuiting for a few seconds at the scene before him.
After a mont, he glanced at Nagato in disbelief, then back at the boy. After nearly half a minute of silence, he finally spoke.
"You... aren't Uchiha Kaito?"
"This... isn't the Akatsuki Organization?"
