Chapter 320: Parasite World

Ultraman’s power cos from light—and from human hope.

When Ryosuke reminded Daigu of this, he imdiately grasped how to confront the evil god Gatanothor.

Revealing his identity to the mbers of the GUTS beca inevitable. He needed to shape public opinion—to guide humanity into placing its belief in GUTS before disaster struck. And to do that, he had to rely on the international influence of the GUTS.

As a result, when Gatanothor’s vanguard, the Zogas, descended upon Earth, they were ready.

When countless beliefs converged into light and flowed into Tiga’s body, Daigu finally understood why he had failed to awaken Tiga’s true power.

It wasn’t a lack of combat experience. It wasn’t the short ti since he first rged with Tiga. It was because he had never held enough faith.

And now, when Gatanothor shrouded the world in black mist and Zogas soared across the global skies, Daigu already knew how to unite human belief into power.

Even Gatanothor, who once lood like an apocalyptic god, was easily obliterated by the fully awakened Ultraman.

At last, the Ultraman world had achieved temporary stability.

At least for the next few years, there would be no monsters humanity could not face.

And alongside that peace ca the support of Hyuga...

...

"From today forward, you may request aid from the Hyuga whenever a crisis arises."

"At the sa ti, while Hinata requests that you assist us when possible, I hope you will offer your full strength."

"And if soone from your world manages to et the standards set by the Hyuga—if they can break the limits of humanity in this realm—then they may join Hyuga, becoming part of the alliance that walks the heavens and protects the worlds."

Daigu fulfilled his part of the agreent. On the Hyuga side, their representatives followed through with the treaty, signing it according to prior negotiations.

Thus, Hinata formally gained access to a second world—after the Teigu world.

Unlike the complete domination established in the Teigu world, the Ultraman world followed a model of cooperation.

From the exchange of mystical arts and technological advances to the formalization of chakra refinent techniques, every detail was negotiated and recorded between Hyuga envoys and the world leaders of the Ultraman realm.

As for the truth of the other worlds—and the existence of Hyuga itself—this information quickly spread across the globe under the coordination of the United Nations.

The thod for refining chakra, however, remained a secret—shared only with global leadership.

Chakra...

To the people of this world, it was once a concept pulled from fiction. Possessing extraordinary power was a dream buried in the depths of the sea.

And yet, they accepted it. Rapidly.

They knew what it ant to be weak under the rule of the strong.

More importantly, the Hyuga had not co as conquerors. They had defended humanity from monsters again and again, winning public trust instead of resistance.

...

"You feel different from the last ti we t."

Ryosuke studied Daigu closely.

Two months had passed. And now, standing before him again, Daigu’s aura had completely changed.

"The confusion and hesitation are gone," Ryosuke said simply. "You’ve beco more certain of yourself."

"Because I now understand how to use my power... and what I should be doing for this world."

Standing on the deck of the GUTS warship, Daigu looked out at the endless ocean. "The light in everyone’s hearts... their faith in Tiga... their belief that we can protect humanity... All of it flows into ."

"And I can hear it."

"Gatanothor wasn’t defeated by alone—it was a victory born from the combined will of all mankind."

He turned back, his gaze calm.

"But even so, I probably won’t be joining the Hyuga. Not now. This world still needs . Even if monsters won’t appear for a while, I want to stay."

"That’s actually what I ca to talk to you about."

Ryosuke smiled faintly.

"Tiga’s power cos from an influx of light. But after I left this world, I noticed sothing strange. No matter how strong my willpower was, I couldn’t transform into light anymore."

He gently stomped the deck beneath him.

"Only this world has rules that allow humans to beco light."

"If you leave it, even you may be unable to transform into Tiga."

"This is a warning—if soone from another world ever breaks into this one, don’t chase them blindly. And don’t let yourself get pulled into another world either."

Tiga’s power was undeniably imnse—far beyond the clumsy strength of giants like Eren. If Daigu wished, he could likely destroy a planet.

But unfortunately, despite that strength, Daigu couldn’t serve as direct support for the Hyuga—at least not now.

His power was bound to this world’s rules. Tiga existed only here.

"...I see."

Daigu wasn’t surprised.

As soone raised in a world of science and systems, he was used to the concept of rules defining physical reality. This wasn’t the first ti he’d heard of such limitations.

In fact, the extraordinary was becoming increasingly ordinary.

"In that case... please allow to serve as the logistical support for the World Alliance," Ryosuke proposed. "Even if you can’t leave this world, here, your strength is godlike. You can stop nearly any invader from another realm."

"If any other world in the alliance faces an overwhelming crisis and needs to evacuate... I hope you can protect them here."

"I’ll do my best," Daigu replied, nodding without hesitation.

He understood the weight of this responsibility.

And this ti—unlike before—there was no fear, no doubt.

In just two months, he had undergone a complete transformation.

To be honest, Daigu still wasn’t sure where his limits lay.

Back then, he couldn’t sense the full power of Tiga—let alone wield it properly.

He had believed humanity’s potential was too small, too fragile, to control the might of the Giant of Light.

But now, Daigu had touched the real power of Tiga.

Now, empowered by the unshakable faith of humanity, he no longer knew where his limits even were.

He couldn’t imagine an enemy that could match him.

Even Gatanothor, who had once haunted his nightmares—he had barely needed to exert any effort to destroy him.

In fact, thirty million years ago, Gatanothor only dared to awaken and rule the Earth after the Giant of Light had been abandoned by humanity and turned into a stone statue.

Now, Daigu felt that he no longer needed to exert much effort to deal with any monster he encountered. With the light beam techniques at his disposal, most enemies could be obliterated with ease.

"Co to think of it, I really want to fight you now," Ryosuke said with so regret. "But your strength cos from belief. If we fought, your conviction wouldn’t be as strong as when you’re up against monsters. I’d never get to face you at your peak."

"Why do you want to beco stronger, Ryosuke-san?" Daigu asked, visibly puzzled. Every ti Ryosuke ca up in conversation, it was either about training or gathering training materials. This white-haired man—respected by every mber of the Hyuga clan—seed to have spent most of his life in pursuit of power.

"There are so things you can only do if you’re strong," Ryosuke said quietly. He didn’t elaborate. "You can’t wait until danger arrives to start training."

He paused for a mont.

"But honestly, I’ve never liked being watched from above."

He lifted his gaze toward the vast, endless sky.

"What?" Daigu blinked, confused.

"It’s just a bunch of cowards hiding behind the clouds, pretending they’re clever," Ryosuke muttered, withdrawing his gaze calmly. "Probably... right about here."

He raised his hand, and a pale yellow orb of light ford in his palm.

"What are you doing?" Daigu instinctively stepped back.

He could sense faint, yet overwhelmingly dangerous energy radiating from Ryosuke. Even without transforming into Tiga, Daigu’s human body still possessed heightened perception—he was well aware of Ryosuke’s threat level.

Especially now.

Ryosuke’s reminder had already made him aware of multiple lifeforms scattered across the stars—fleets, even.

"I rember... one of the earlier docunts sent to Hyuga ntioned a race called the Kirieloids."

Light glead faintly in Ryosuke’s eyes. The pale yellow Tenseigan in his hand glowed brighter.

"A bunch of rats hiding in the dark, daring to call themselves gods?"

The mont he finished speaking, a golden lightsaber condensed in his palm at lightning speed.

"Pathetic."

The blade shot upward, vanishing so quickly that Daigu didn’t even catch its trajectory. It simply disappeared into the sky.

And then—like a ripple tearing through the heavens—explosions erupted above them, sounding like distant fireworks.

Daigu could feel it.

In less than a second, every fleet, every lifeform that had been lingering in orbit had been wiped out—erased from existence.

"If you need anything, contact the Hyuga personnel stationed here," Ryosuke said casually, lowering his hand. "And if there’s anything else, feel free to send soone through the gate to the Ninja World. I’ve granted you temporary access."

It was as if he had just done sothing completely mundane.

In truth, Ryosuke could have simply blocked the Kirieloids’ surveillance if he wanted to.

But this demonstration wasn’t for defense—it was to send a ssage.

He wanted Daigu—and every force in this world—to understand that Hyuga didn’t lack military strength.

After all, Hinata held a high position in this alliance. Naturally, Hyuga needed to showcase its level of combat capability.

To deter betrayal.

Absolute power was enough to extinguish doubt in most hearts. If others knew there was never a chance to rebel, trust would remain intact.

While the Ultraman world was gradually stabilizing, things were shifting in another realm—the Espers World.

With the assistance of Suzuki Toichiro, it had co to the attention of global leadership.

The world’s highest-ranking officials in the Espers World weren’t all that different from those in Tiga’s.

The key difference was unity.

Thanks to rapid technological advancent, the Ultraman world had already taken its first steps into outer space. Against the backdrop of the universe, disputes between nations had beco trivial. International organizations like the United Nations grew more authoritative, followed by world-class defense forces like the GUTS.

But the Espers World was different.

It resembled the Ninja World—every nation clawing and biting over scraps of territory.

The existence of super-powered individuals had altered the nature of warfare. Instead of large-scale conflict, nations engaged in proxy battles through those with psychic abilities.

Open wars were rare. They caused far too much damage to both the countries and the planet itself.

So, national strength was asured in covert operations—deadly gas of assassination and psychological warfare between elite psychic agents.

In that cutthroat world, Suzuki Toichiro held extraordinary influence.

He was once determined to dominate the world.

But now, Suzuki Toichiro was a mber of Hyuga.

The structure of the Espers World had already changed.

Unlike the Ultraman World, which saw Hinata as an outsider, the Espers World had long known about other dinsions.

They had already encountered humans from at least two other worlds.

One seed to have entered accidentally—a bizarre species with anti-human tendencies. But they were easily defeated and never seen again.

The other world, however, was different.

It actively controlled a gateway to the Espers World. Humans from that realm frequently arrived, wreaking havoc.

Physically, they were no different from ordinary humans—fragile, weak. But after their bodies were taken over by so kind of parasite, they gained terrifying combat abilities and unparalleled learning speed.

Compared to the Esper users of this world, these "parasitic humans" weren’t that powerful.

But they were masters of disguise.

It was nearly impossible to detect them once they blended into human society.

They were predators—top-level hunters.

Once they captured prey, they’d vanish, blending in with terrifying precision.

Because of them, the Esper World had given this invading realm a na:

The Parsite World.

"...Sounds familiar."

Within the Hyuga Clan’s territory, Ryosuke lazily tossed the files onto his desk and yawned.

Unlike the Ultraman world, he actually retained vague mories of this particular world.

A species of alien parasites that invaded Earth, hijacked human bodies, and gained physical abilities far beyond natural limits...

Their sole purpose?

To kill.

A race that existed purely to destroy.

"Find an opportunity to use the old thod... and launch a counter-invasion."

Ryosuke had already made up his mind.
