The third transformation began in the dead of night—sudden, without warning.

But for Ryosuke, who had long anticipated this mont, it wasn't a surprise.

"As expected… The pain of the third transformation is worse than the second. I put in more work this ti. The price is higher..."

The changes in his body were becoming obvious. His chakra felt deeper, denser—alien.

His strength was evolving in a direction that seed to mirror the Ōtsutsuki clan, especially in his physical appearance.

"My five senses are sharpening… and my chakra is growing, changing… in a strange, unnatural way."

Large drops of sweat rolled down his face, hitting the floor with heavy plops.

He was alone in his room—silent, dim, and filled with tense energy.

The last ti this had happened, the transformation caught them off guard. That ti, the process had unfolded in the study.

But now, things were different.

Ryosuke was prepared.

Hiashi had positioned himself in the next room, far enough not to disturb him, close enough to intervene imdiately if sothing went wrong.

Ryosuke sat on the edge of his bed, hunched forward, elbows resting on his knees. He clasped his hands tightly together, using the tension to keep his mind focused—desperately trying to suppress the excruciating pain wracking his body.

It was like the fevered haze of an illness—when your body burns with sickness, but your mind is so focused on a task, you don't notice how far you've fallen until it's over. And once that focus breaks, fatigue and weakness co crashing in.

That's the state Ryosuke was in now.

He focused, down to the finest detail, on every change happening inside him. Every shift. Every surge of chakra.

The limiter in his mind—the internal clock tied to his evolution—was functioning exactly as he had predicted.

Every three years, it unlocked.

But the rewards from each transformation weren't fixed. They depended entirely on how much effort he poured into training during the buildup.

This ti, Ryosuke had gone beyond just physical conditioning. He'd trained his spirit, honed his perception, ditated through pain, and sharpened his instincts.

And now, the results were clear.

His muscles felt like they were inflating and deflating—ballooning and collapsing. His skin stretched tight, then slackened. At the sa ti, a deep and tearing ache blood behind his eyes, like sothing was trying to split his mind in half.

His body was changing—but so was his soul.

His chakra surged like a tidal wave, slamming into his core, stretching him beyond the limits of a normal human. His skin shimred with an aura so tangible, it distorted the air around him.

He should have scread. He should have begged for it to stop.

But instead… he smiled.

Grinning through the agony, white teeth flashing in the dark.

It wasn't masochism. Ryosuke didn't enjoy pain.

But this—this was proof.

Every fiber of his body, every torn nerve and pulsing chakra point—was telling him he was getting stronger.

The transformation took longer this ti, far longer than before.

First ca the enhancents to his outer and inner strength. Then, a purification of the blood. His vision went dark for a ti—total temporary blindness—before his senses reawakened with new clarity. Sound, scent, even the flow of chakra in the air began to feel different.

The sky outside darkened… then brightened… then darkened again.

Hiashi didn't leave his post outside the room. Ti was the only thing that moved freely—untouched by struggle, uncaring of pain.

One day passed.

Then two.

Then three.

Ryosuke lost track.

Eventually, the chaos inside his body began to stabilize. His swollen limbs shrank back to size. The pulsing aura faded.

He sat there for a while, breathing in silence. Then, slowly, he stood up.

Naked, drenched in sweat, and aching from head to toe—but alive.

And… changed.

His body looked deceptively normal now. The golden sheen of his muscles had flattened out, making him appear like any other healthy boy.

But he could feel the difference. Strength radiated from within—concentrated and coiled like a spring. Several tis more powerful than before.

It reminded him of sothing from his past life: Dragon Ball.

"It's like living on King Kai's planet," he thought with a chuckle. "An ordinary body trained under crushing gravity… looks average. But the mont it steps onto Earth, it becos sothing terrifying."

That's what Ryosuke had beco.

A being no longer defined by his old limits.

To outsiders, he might look like an average boy. But within the system that once bound him, Ryosuke had already surpassed the ceiling.

He wasn't evolving inside the sa ladder anymore.

He was building a new one.

Knock knock knock.

A soft knock broke the silence.

Hiashi, who had been ditating on the floor outside Ryosuke's room, imdiately opened his eyes.

In the blink of an eye, he used Body Flicker Technique to appear at the door and knocked gently.

"…Father, please wait a mont."

Ryosuke's voice sounded strained but steady.

Internally, though, he winced. I look like hell right now. I can't let him see like this…

This wasn't like last ti in the study—this was his private room, and he'd been stuck in the sa position for days.

It took him a minute to wash the sweat and gri off, throw on clean clothes, and open the door.

The mont he did, Hiashi stepped in with urgency.

His sharp eyes scanned Ryosuke's body imdiately.

But it wasn't Ryosuke's posture, build, or deanor that caught his attention first.

It was his eyes.

They were glowing.

Dimly, subtly—but unmistakably.

"…Your eyes…" Hiashi murmured, his voice laced with disbelief.

He stared, stunned. This wasn't the Byakugan he knew.

This was sothing else.

"…They evolved again," Ryosuke replied casually, offering a small, tired smile. He let the chakra fade from his eyes.

The glow disappeared, and the whites of his eyes returned to normal.

Hiashi stepped inside without a word, closing the door carefully behind him.

Then he turned to his son with lowered voice. "Just now… were you in the open state?"

In the past, Ryosuke's Byakugan only emitted the faintest light when activated—barely visible, even to soone like Hiashi who'd seen him use it countless tis.

Other than the glow, there had been little to differentiate his eyes from the standard Byakugan—veins protruding slightly from chakra concentration around the temples.

But this ti… it was different.

"Yes," Ryosuke said as he motioned for Hiashi to sit, pulling out a chair beside the table. "I think it's because my eyes compensated for so kind of deficiency during the evolution process."

He settled into the chair across from his father. The water pitcher on the table remained untouched—stale from sitting out for days. He didn't bother pouring a cup.

"I've noticed a few specific changes—"

Ryosuke was eager to share the insights he'd gained from this third transformation, to discuss them as he often had in the past.

But Hiashi raised a hand to stop him.

"There's no need to explain all that to . What matters is that you understand them."

His tone turned firm. "From now on, it's best you don't tell anyone about your abilities. Not even Hinata."

Ryosuke blinked in surprise.

"We don't need to know everything about you," Hiashi continued, activating his Byakugan to assess Ryosuke's condition. "We just need to know that you're safe."

Ryosuke sat there, a little stunned.

Then, slowly, a warm smile crept across his face. "I understand, Father."

That quiet sense of being cared for—it hit him differently each ti. It softened sothing inside him.

He was soone who leaned heavily on rationality, on logic, on planning. But this… this gentle concern?

It reminded him he was still human, not just so machine chasing strength at any cost.

"I'm glad you're alright."

Hiashi finally exhaled and stood. "Like you, I haven't rested these past few days. I need to go get so sleep."

He was exhausted—bone deep—and now that the tension had lifted, it all ca rushing in.

"Please rest well," Ryosuke said as he stood too, walking him to the door. "You can leave clan affairs aside for now. I'll handle anything that might co up."

Hiashi paused at the threshold. His eyes softened at Ryosuke's words.

"I can't leave everything to you," he said with a rare, gentle smile. "What I hope for… is that as you grow, the clan grows with you."

"I don't want the family to beco your burden. I want it to be your foundation."

He looked directly into Ryosuke's eyes.

"From what I've seen of your transformation… no individual in our clan will ever be able to match your strength. But maybe—just maybe—together, we can stand beside you. Even Hinata thinks that way."

Whether as a father or as the Hyuga clan head, Hiashi carried himself with humility before Ryosuke.

Ryosuke was touched, but didn't know how to respond. He scratched his head, grinning like a boy for once.

"…I'm looking forward to it."

Hiashi nodded, then rested a hand on his shoulder. "Take care of yourself in the coming days. Put training aside for now. Monitor your condition closely. Wait at least a week before resuming anything strenuous. Make sure there are no lingering side effects."

"I will."

Ryosuke watched his father disappear down the corridor before returning to his room.

He hadn't slept in days. But oddly, he didn't feel tired. His body thrumd with energy. Every part of him—flesh, blood, chakra—was new.

There was so much he needed to explore.

So much to understand.

Especially his eyes… which now sat sowhere between the Byakugan and the Tenseigan.

---

Ti passed.

Ryosuke spent the next few days at ho, adjusting to his new strength. He avoided contact with most people—including his close subordinates—and imrsed himself in training.

But less than a week later, he grew… bored.

His personal strength had improved drastically—beyond anything he'd experienced before. But with no worthy opponents to test his limits against, the sensation of growth felt oddly incomplete.

Eventually, he paused his training.

The early spring mornings were peaceful—neither too cold nor too warm. A perfect balance.

"I'm sorry I can't co with you today," Hiashi said at the front door, kneeling in front of little Hanabi. "It's your first day of school, and I've still got matters to handle."

They'd just finished breakfast. Ryosuke, Hinata, and Hanabi were dressed and ready to leave.

Today marked the beginning of Hanabi's journey as a ninja.

She'd built a solid foundation in taijutsu and was ready for the next step—Ninja Academy.

Ryosuke and Hinata were going too—not as students, but to escort Hanabi.

"It's okay, Father. My sister and Ryosuke are with !"

Hanabi grinned brightly and waved. She didn't mind at all.

Unlike Hinata's first days as a child, Hanabi was far more relaxed around her father. Whether it was the result of learned parenting or Hiashi's gradual softening as a parent, the change in family dynamic was clear.

Hiashi no longer carried himself like the stern, untouchable clan head—not in front of his children.

"Let's go," Hinata urged, glancing at the ti. "You'll be late on your very first day."

She was already heading down the path with her sister in tow.

"We're leaving now, Father."

Ryosuke gave a slight nod, then jogged after them.

On their way out of the clan compound, they passed several familiar faces. Clan mbers offered polite greetings, which the three of them returned graciously.

Ryosuke walked beside Hanabi, her small hand clutched in his.

On her other side was Hinata, also holding Hanabi's hand.

And for a brief mont, Ryosuke's thoughts drifted to sothing... strange.

There was a four-year age gap between himself, Hinata, and Hanabi.

But physically? He had undergone three transformations. He stood taller than many adults now. Hinata, as a kunoichi, had also matured—though not to the sa extent.

Beside Hanabi's small fra, the two of them looked like...

A couple.

A young married couple walking their daughter to her first day of school.

Before Ryosuke could shake the thought from his mind—

"HINATAAAAAA!?"

A dual shriek echoed through the street.

It was one voice—but two screams.

Two shapes barreled toward them, golden and pink blurs colliding as they dashed forward like wild tigers.

A plu of dust shot up as they skidded to a stop in front of the trio, wide-eyed and breathless.

Yamanaka Ino and Haruno Sakura stood there, mouths agape, eyes flicking between Ryosuke, Hinata, and Hanabi.

They pointed dramatically, yelling in unison—

"DID YOU TAKE LEAVE TO HAVE A BABY!?"
