"So, you purposely didn't try to control all at once, instead, you gave a false sense of security with the distance. But what about my insects? How did you deal with them?"

Abura Aoshi confird his suspicions based on Kagetsu's words. However, what he still couldn't figure out was how Kagetsu managed to handle his insects. He had lost track of most of the insects he had spread out, and the sight of the insect corpses scattered around puzzled not only those watching but also himself.

Could the Nara clan have a secret technique specifically for dealing with insects?

"It's just a neurological and physiological insecticide. I sprayed it all over myself during the battle, then deliberately allowed the insects to land on . That was enough to kill them."

As Kagetsu walked step by step toward Abura Aoshi, he was forced to move closer to him as well, the Shadow Imitation Technique controlling his movents.

"Impossible." Abura Aoshi's imdiate reaction was to reject Kagetsu's explanation. The Abura clan's insects were incredibly diverse and multifunctional, making it nearly impossible for outsiders to defend against them unless they had specific information about the insects.

The insects he had chosen weren't the most powerful in the Abura clan, but it was the most versatile and practical.

Whether it's for attacking, defending, healing, support, or scouting, the insect controlling technique is incredibly versatile. Due to its small size, it's hard to detect, allowing it to be surprisingly effective in many situations.

If you want to create insecticides that specifically target these insects, you first need to understand their types. Most importantly, you need to have these insects for research and experintation.

The secrecy around these insects is sothing the Abura Clan has valued since ancient tis.

When it cos to understanding and countering insects, only the Kamizuru Clan of Iwagakure, who also specialize in insect techniques, can rival them.

Abura Aoshi couldn't figure out where Nara Kagetsu got the insecticides that could harm the Abura Clan's insects. He felt he had to ask.

"How do you know the nature of my insects? And how did you create targeted insecticides?"

Hearing Aoshi's question, Kagetsu didn't reply. He was already preparing his next jutsu.

A shadowy hand crept up Aoshi's legs like a vine and finally reached his throat, tightening slightly.

Aoshi imdiately felt sothing pressing against his windpipe and throat.

"Give up. Or do you want Fumito-sensei to make a judgnt?" Nara Kagetsu controlled the shadow, and after making Aoshi feel the threat, he urged him to surrender.

"I give up!" Hearing Nara's words, Aoshi didn't insist on fighting back. He calmly admitted defeat while he could still speak.

He knew Kagetsu was right. With his insects unusable and his movents restricted by the Shadow Imitation Technique, it was nearly impossible to turn the fight around. Surrendering was the best option.

"In the first round of the assessnt between Nara Kagetsu and Abura Aoshi, the winner is Nara Kagetsu!"

After hearing Aoshi admit defeat, the examiner, Fumito, who had been watching from the sidelines, imdiately stood up and announced the winner. He then had the two perform the seal of reconciliation and step down.

After Nara Kagetsu released his shadow jutsu, Aoshi regained control of his body. Instead of leaving imdiately, he silently went to where the insect corpses had gathered, released another wave of insects, and cleaned up the remains.

"Well done, Kagetsu! Congratulations on your win!" Kagetsu, who had just rejoined the team, received congratulations from his teammates for the first ti. Yamanaka Yuki was the first to speak, with Chofu behind her nodding in agreent, adding, "Sa here!"

"Luckily, I did so preparation beforehand," Kagetsu replied, waving his hand. Although his current research conditions were quite rough and basic, he still managed to solve so problems that didn't need advanced equipnt or a large team.

In the first few days of academy, he didn't just sit around. He made a detailed list of so specific people in the class.

This list contained all the information he could gather about those individuals, along with strategies to counter them in case of a fight.

Abura Aoshi was one of them.

"Can we talk, Kagetsu-san?" A low voice suddenly spoke behind Kagetsu, surprising Yamanaka Yuki and Chofu nearby.

"When did you get here?" Yuki asked in surprise when she saw Abura Aoshi standing in front of them. Even with the sensory abilities that the Yamanaka clan is known for, she hadn't noticed him approaching, even though she wasn't fully focused.

Abura Aoshi glanced at Yuki but didn't reply, his eyes, hidden behind his sunglasses, focused on Kagetsu.

Feeling ignored, Yuki was about to get upset, but Kagetsu quickly cald her down with a gesture.

"What do you want to ask?" Kagetsu looked at the two people who weren't on his list for the second round, which gave him so ti to deal with Abura Aoshi.

He already knew what Aoshi wanted to ask, but he waited for him to speak.

"Insects, insecticides," Aoshi said bluntly. "Where did you get the Insect nurtured on my body?"

"Is that a question?" Kagetsu asked back.

"No, just a conversation. I want to know where I ssed up," Aoshi replied, shaking his head.

Aoshi figured that Nara Kagetsu couldn't have made a targeted insecticide without getting his hands on so insect samples, so sothing must have gone wrong on his end, and Kagetsu must have obtained so of his insects.

As for the insecticide, it was probably developed by the Nara clan.

However, as long as even one of the new insects, which had devoured the corpses of the affected insects, survived, it could breed and create a new generation of insects resistant to that insecticide.

That's a characteristic of the Abura clan's insects. Given enough ti, enough insects, and enough chakra and food for them to evolve, they have the ability to quickly adapt and evolve to overco specific threats!
