Two days later, as expected, Might Duy appeared in front of Kagetsu and agreed to the experint.
This ti, Might Duy ca alone without Might Duy by his side.
"I'm ready!" Duy, lying on the operating table, nodded at Kagetsu, signaling his readiness.
"The process of the dicine taking effect will be extrely painful," Kagetsu warned again, drawing Seals on the ground.
"I understand! I'll do my best to stay conscious! Trust , I can endure pain!" Duy responded seriously.
Years of intense training, constantly pushing his body to its limits, and recovering from injuries that felt like near-death experiences to most people—Might Duy had persevered through it all with unwavering determination.
The Eight Gates technique itself was a grueling practice that trained one to endure excruciating pain.
"I will use a curse mark technique and tools to restrain your body. This is to prevent any accidents. Although failure is unlikely, it's always good to be prepared. The final sealing technique is a safety asure—it will buy ti to save you if sothing goes wrong," Kagetsu explained.
Finishing the last Seal on the floor, Kagetsu injected a syringe into the skin on Duy's neck.
Under his skin, worm-like ridges began to appear, wriggling. His veins bulged, and his eyes were wide with rage and strain. The sight of him on the operating table was truly terrifying.
Kagetsu stood ready, hands forming the signs for his Shadow Imitation Technique, prepared to activate it the mont Duy broke free of his restraints.
Surprisingly, despite Kagetsu's calculations that Duy's pain should now be unbearable, he managed to maintain control of his consciousness.
Duy fought through the agony, forcing his body to remain in check.
Minute by minute, ti passed. Duy's condition began transitioning to the final phase. After a grueling fourteen hours, under Kagetsu's careful observation and intervention, Duy's body finally stabilized.
Success!
Might Duy's body had already absorbed and processed the effects of the physical enhancent dicine.
"Did it succeed?"
As the agonizing pain that felt like it was tearing his soul apart gradually faded, Might Duy's consciousness—flickering like a candle in the wind, on the brink of falling into silence—began to regain clarity with a refreshing sensation.
His gaze started to focus and landed on Kagetsu, who was using dical ninjutsu to examine and heal his body.
"How do you feel?"
Noticing the focus in Might Duy's eyes, Kagetsu maintained his dical ninjutsu while gently asking.
"How do I feel? A little weak," Might Duy answered honestly after carefully sensing his body.
At that mont, he indeed felt drained, as though he had just gone through intense training. Additionally, his throat felt dry and scratchy, and his voice was hoarse and strained.
"Do you feel any discomfort or pain?" Kagetsu asked.
Might Duy shook his head. Though his body felt weak, under the effect of Kagetsu's dical ninjutsu, it was as if his exhausted body was soaking in warm water, washing away his fatigue and slowly restoring his strength.
He knew this was Kagetsu's unique healing technique, based on dical ninjutsu. It allowed a ninja to quickly recover their physical strength, condition, injuries, and ntal state.
It was a powerful, all-around restorative dical ninjutsu.
"What about hunger?" Kagetsu asked again.
"I'm very hungry!"
Strangely, before Kagetsu asked, Might Duy hadn't felt hungry. But as soon as she asked, a sudden wave of hunger swept through his body.
It was as if he had been under an illusion before. Now that the illusion had broken, his true physical condition was warning him.
"I'm accelerating your recovery and stimulating your organs," Kagetsu explained. After a mont, he released the yang chakra from his hands and removed the restraints and tools binding Might Duy.
Might Duy felt his body regain so strength. Although his muscles were still extrely sore, the itchy sensation now overpowered the pain. He still had difficulty using his body's strength, but he had regained enough control to manage it.
He could now give commands to his body and make it follow them.
Might Duy propped himself up on the operating table with his arm and sat up. He watched as Kagetsu removed the various patches and instrunts from his body, feeling a bit dazed as he asked, "Is it all better now?"
"Yes, but there's a recovery period ahead. Don't worry, it's not the dicine causing any issues. I just need to monitor your body's changes over the next few days," Kagetsu said, glancing at Might Duy, who was drenched in sweat, looking like he'd been caught in a storm. His hair clung to his head.
"After your recent training, if possible, you should co to for so tests and report any physical changes you've noticed."
"No, no problem!" Might Duy struggled to raise his arm and gave Kagetsu a thumbs up.
