After bringing Sasuke and Naruto back, Naruto still seed upset about Sasuke bailing out halfway, complaining to him non-stop.

Although Sasuke was in the wrong, his pretentious deanor made it impossible to tell he felt any guilt.

"I already said the duel is postponed. Naruto, you are not worried about surpassing you, right…" Sasuke looked down at Naruto with a slightly contemptuous gaze.

Naruto was infuriated, and it looked like the two were about to turn their argunt into a street brawl. Seeing this, Kanpū intervened them aloud, "Alright, stop arguing! Both of you, go ho and write a two-thousand-word summary of the duel. Tomorrow morning…"

'Tomorrow morning is the funeral of Sandai and the other fallen Shinobi…'

Kanpū quickly corrected himself, "Submit it by three in the afternoon tomorrow."

At that mont, Kanpū's sternness was overwhelming, displaying the deanor of a distinguished teacher!

"No way, Kanpū-sensei?!" Naruto almost collapsed.

'A two-thousand-word summary... I've graduated, why do I still have to write this?'

'And it's two thousand words!'

'When I was in the Academy, the most I ever wrote was a thousand.

"It's just a two-thousand-word summary, no problem. Then, I'll be leaving now Sasuke arrogantly agreed and swaggered off, brushing past Naruto.

As soon as Sasuke left, Naruto also slunk away dejectedly.

'Finally, so peace and quiet.'

Kanpū lay back in his still-warm bed, then drifted off into a comfortable nap.

Kanpū slept until noon, and when he got up for lunch, i also brought up the matter of funeral the next morning.

"The village has posted notices everywhere. Many people will likely attend Sandai Hokage's funeral tomorrow morning." i tied up her hair, revealing her fair neck and delicate collarbones, and lowered her head to take a bite of her noodles.

Kanpū glanced at her, only to notice that his appetite greatly increased.

Hoshino, who sitting next to them, said emotionally, "Sandai-sama did so much for the village, he deserves it."

"Big brother, I heard Orochimaru stole Sandai-sama's body after he died. Is that true?" Hayate asked.

"Your bones just healed, and now you're asking so many questions." Kanpū didn't want to answer and gave an exasperated eye roll.

Hayate got excited upon reaching this topic, "Big brother, Tsunade-sama is really is the greatest dical-nin in the Shinobi World. I feel my bones are recovering very well, and in another two months, I should be able to start training again!"

'Aiya, how did I forget about this…' Kanpū quickly waved his hand: "Hayate, we're brothers, don't ntion the forty million."

Hayate looked dumbfounded, "I didn't ntion forty million…"

"What? You want to pay back?"

Kanpū made a constipated face, "We're brothers. This makes things awkward for ."

"I didn't say that I was paying back…" Hayate slapped the table in frustration.

"Alright, you convinced . You're right, even brothers should keep accounts clear. So, when do you plan to pay?" Kanpū looked at Hayate expectantly.

Hayate: (ŎдŎ;)

Hoshino coughed and lowered his head to eat noodles.

i covered her mouth and giggled.

Karin awkwardly picked up her bowl and ran to the wooden corridor to slurp her noodles loudly.

A pleasant day passed quickly.

Early the next morning, before dawn, Kanpū's family got up early, dressed in black mourning clothes, and set out.

"It's raining." Outside the mansion, Kanpū reached out to catch a few light raindrops, looking up to see the gray sky, which seed to be weeping.

On the way to the cetery, more and more people dressed in black mourning clothes gathered, including not only Shinobi but also many civilians!

Hiruzen has been in power for several decades, and he is the longest-serving Hokage. And even after retiring from the position, he still continued to work as an advisor. He had essentially devoted his entire life to the village, so the people naturally rembered his contributions.

When they arrived at the cetery, Minato, Kushina, Eagle, Shikaku, Inoichi, Choza, Fugaku, Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, Iruka, Kotetsu and Izumo, Naruto, Sasuke Utatane Koharu, Mitokado Homura and the others are all present.

Kanpū even spotted a white-haired figure.

"It's Jiraiya-sama!" Hoshino said in a low voice.

"So that's the legendary Toad Sage, one of the Sannin, Jiraiya?" This is the first ti i had seen Jiraiya with her own eyes, so she looked at him curiously.

"Don't, don't look at him!" Kanpū, rembering sothing, quickly pulled her behind him, his expression changing.

"What's wrong?"

i was a little puzzled, "Could it be... Jiraiya doesn't approve of my status?"

"It's even more dangerous than that!" Kanpū said seriously.

As everyone knows, Jiraiya was an extrely lecherous old man, capable of peeping into won's bathhouses for his own gratification. Was that even manly behavior?

Kanpū was afraid i's otherworldly beauty would catch Jiraiya's attention.

"Kanpū." A familiar voice suddenly ca from behind.

"Guy-senpai." Kanpū turned and saw Guy is still in his usual green outfit, accompanied by Hyuga, Tenten, and Lee.

"I'm sorry." Guy was a bit downcast.

When Akatsuki invaded Konoha, Guy had been on a mission with his three students. They rushed back upon hearing of Hiruzen's death.

Kanpū understood his sentint and comforted him softly, "No one could have foreseen this, Guy-senpai. Don't take it to heart."

They chatted briefly about recent events. Soon, the first rays of morning light pierced through the distant horizon, and the funeral for Hiruzen and other fallen Shinobi began.

Breaking ground, burial, speeches, flower offerings, monts of silence…

By noon, the funeral concluded, and the people in the cetery gradually dispersed.

Kanpū dismissed the botherso third wheels and strolled with i in the gentle rain, feeling the tender and poetic essence of the raindrops.

'How did that poem go? 'Leaning against the tower, listening to the wind and rain, calmly watching the paths of the world'.'

After the funeral, this poem resonated deeply with Kanpū.

"Kanpū-sama!" Suddenly, a shadow descended from the sky.

'Calling -sama…' Kanpū glanced at the shadow, and nodded slightly, 'This kid has good eyes and a promising future, I am optimistic about you!'

"What's the matter?" Kanpū asked seriously.

"Hokage-sama requests your presence." That ninja replied.

"I understand." Kanpū waved his hand, and the Shinobi swiftly retreated.

"I'll go ho alone then." i said with a smile.

Kanpū was not rest assured, so he took her waist and instantly teleported back to the mansion, and then said: "You just got wet in the rain, take a hot bath first…"

'Uh…'

'That bastard Jiraiya will not…'

"Cough, we'll take a bath together when I get back." After saying that, Kanpū disappeared instantly.

In Hokage's Office, Minato and Kakashi, who had changed into clean clothes, were chatting. Not long after, Kanpū, who had no ti to change clothes, appeared wet.

"Kanpū, you are…" Minato was a little confused.

"Hokage-sama, upon hearing you needed , I rushed over imdiately, afraid to delay your important business!" Kanpū declared righteously.

"…"

Minato has been a Hokage for more than ten years, but he still couldn't handle Kanpū's flattery, so he hurriedly changed the topic and said: "Today, among those who attended the Sandai's funeral, soone brought news of Tsunade-sama's whereabouts…"
