"Die!"

Shinji swung the Executioner's Blade, cutting through sands like a storm sweeping the battlefield.

The three sand walls that had barely blocked the blood blade attack were split in half in an instant, collapsing completely.

Then, as if gone mad, Shinji flung the Executioner's Blade from his hands.

Feeling the wind pressure and sting of the blade rushing toward him, Saibote knew that even if he hastily ford another sand wall, it would be shattered imdiately.

So he simply sandified, letting the spinning blade pass straight through him and embed itself in a sand mound not far behind.

Saibote's thought was simple: using sandification once would nullify the attack and also deprive the opponent of his weapon—definitely a fair trade.

But did Shinji not know this simple plan?

The reason he deliberately abandoned his weapon was to force Saibote into this exact move!

Black Flash!

The revenge iron fist, igniting with black sparks, tore through the air and slamd into Saibote's chest.

The power of the punch was trendous!

But—

Ineffective!

Saibote instantly assessed the situation, maintaining his sandified state.

Shinji's fearso punch smashed into empty air, causing no harm whatsoever.

As expected, if he had returned to solid form, he would have been injured.

Saibote relaxed slightly.

But then, he suddenly noticed the corner of Shinji's mouth curling upward—a victorious smile.

As the capillaries in his arms burst one by one, the blood infused with enormous cursed energy couldn't be restrained any longer.

"Red Blood Manipulation · Circular Spiral Slash!"

Riiiip… Riiiip…!

Countless tiny blood blades spun and gathered around Shinji's right arm pressed against Saibote's chest, forming a terrifying spiral blood-cutting storm.

A scream of unimaginable pain followed.

Saibote's sandified chest was instantly torn apart, flesh and blood shredded, leaving a gaping hole.

Feeling the excruciating pain, Saibote realized that his fatal weakness had been discovered.

Without the golden snake sword, he lost the Desiccation ability and could no longer absorb moisture from the environnt.

And in his sandified state, his weakness was precisely water!

Any area exposed to moisture would temporarily nullify sandification.

Blood, in this case, could perfectly substitute for water.

Shinji had exploited this, delivering a devastating blow.

With the snake sword, Saibote could completely compensate for this weakness and even counter techniques like water release or Red Blood Manipulation.

But losing the sword reversed everything.

Now, techniques like water release or Red Blood Manipulation directly countered his sandification.

It was a twist of fate as if the universe itself had decreed it.

Speaking of which, Hidan deserved major credit!

Without him, the outco might have been entirely uncertain.

"Cursed Sand Transformation · Quicksand!!!"

Despite his chest being shredded, the Special Grade Curse Spirit Saibote's vitality was extrely resilient. He solidified his body while pouring massive cursed energy into the sand beneath him.

This ti, he was practically going all out, dumping cursed energy as if it were free.

Imdiately, the ground beneath Shinji beca a pit of quicksand, swallowing him at alarming speed.

As Shinji hesitated, he suddenly heard Hidan's shout from behind.

"Damn it, Shinji! Get out! He's done for!"

Turning around, Shinji saw Hidan standing within a completed ritual pattern, his mouth struggling to chew sothing.

In his hands, he gripped a clump of blood-soaked sand!

Shinji instantly recalled—Hidan's position was exactly where he had first injured the enemy with the Executioner's Blade not long ago!

Without further hesitation, Shinji rapidly ford a blood-crystal plank beneath his feet and leveraged it to escape the quicksand.

Thunk.

"Ha~ finally swallowed it… Ugh, that really tastes awful."

"Next, I'll let you experience true terror. Don't cry, cutie~ hahahaha!"

Amid his manic laughter, Hidan grabbed the blood-stained Triple-Bladed Scythe and swung it directly at his own neck.

Pop!

Hidan's head fell to the sand, and his body collapsed with a thud.

Suddenly, the half-subrged Saibote stiffened, a red line circling his neck.

Then his head rolled off.

As it tumbled to the ground, his expression was utterly bewildered.

He realized he had underestimated these humans.

Although he had been incredibly powerful since birth as a Special Grade Curse Spirit, with infinite potential and constantly growing strength, it didn't an the human world lacked ways to defeat him.

In fact, the diversity, strength, and sheer unpredictability of human abilities surpassed his imagination.

"Next ti…"

Saibote's headless body suddenly moved, reaching for the exquisite hourglass at his waist that had long been ignored.

For the first ti, he removed it and flipped it over.

Vuuu~

"Domain Expansion"

"Heavenly Wheel Hourglass!"

Ti seed to freeze. By the ti Shinji realized his opponent could use Domain Expansion, it was already too late.

Around them, endless yellow sand remained unchanged, seemingly the sa.

But Shinji knew that they had already been drawn into Saibote's domain.

Because the sky… had disappeared.

A black lid hovered overhead.

Shinji also noticed that the sand beneath their feet seed to flow downward endlessly.

From a god's-eye perspective, Saibote's domain was a giant hourglass!

Shinji and Hidan were in the upper section of the hourglass, hence the strange sensation.

No one knew what terrifying event would occur once all the sand had flowed away.

At that mont, a figure began forming from the swirling yellow sand.

It was Saibote, whose head had been cut off earlier by Hidan and Shinji together.

Except now, Saibote was fully healed, showing no trace of injury.

Shinji's heart sank. He knew he might have to use the Special Grade Curse Spirit - Kuni experience card.

If that failed, he could only rely on a lottery, hoping to draw sothing capable of turning the tide.

After all, a Special Grade Curse Spirit capable of Domain Expansion was a completely different creature from one that couldn't.

Within the domain, any attack Saibote launched was unavoidable!

That fact alone was terrifying!

Shinji could only focus on keeping the snake sword he picked up from Hidan away from the enemy.

Otherwise, a single strike would turn him into a dry husk instantly.

Yet the situation didn't seem as dire as he had imagined.

"State your nas, humans."

Saibote's voice rang out like a divine order.

In response, Shinji lied without sha.

"We're brothers, and we don't change our nas. He's Sasuke, I'm Naruto. Don't like it? Co find us in Konoha!"
