On the bustling streets, people ca and went, the atmosphere lively as ever.
Those who had just co out of the hot springs, including the group, were out for a walk. Just as Sakura sighed helplessly and was about to suggest going ho, Tenten suddenly cried out in surprise and dragged her back.
"Look! Isn't that Sasuke!?"
On the lively street, Uchiha Sasuke—who usually kept a cold face—actually looked sowhat relaxed, showing a rare gentle expression.
Beside him was a woman with kind features, dressed properly and elegantly, and the two were even holding hands.
"Sasuke, you've worked hard training all day. Why don't we go ho and rest early?"
"Mm." Facing Rei's considerate concern, Sasuke responded indifferently but didn't refuse. Though he agreed verbally, his body didn't comply.
Instead, he continued shopping with Rei. Seeing this, Rei smiled gently.
"Sasuke, you're still so gentle, after all."
At this teasing, Sasuke's face showed a hint of blush. Gentle!?
"Rei, I've noticed you've worn this for a long ti. Here, this new one is for you."
From afar, Sakura and her group happened to witness this scene.

In the village, many people saw what was happening. Hot-blooded Lee watched the chase, but for so reason, the passion in his eyes diminished.
"Lee, let's go. I'll train with you tonight."
Neji, after seeing this, frowned and then calmly called Lee back. Lee nodded heavily.
"Okay, Neji."
The two of them headed for the training ground. It seed they had moved on from their old bonds with Naruto.
Or perhaps, to them, Naruto was now just another ordinary Konoha ninja.
"Naruto, don't be reckless!" As she chased after them, Sakura finally ca to her senses and shouted to warn Naruto.
Naruto, what are you doing?
Just then, the figures running in the distance suddenly stopped. Sakura, sharp-eyed, saw soone forming hand seals and cried out:
"Naruto! Be careful!"
Wood Style: Great Forest Technique!
Suddenly, several wooden stakes shot out from a distance, coming alive and charging at Naruto. The onlookers gasped.
"Wood Style!"
"Damn! I knew this woman approached Sasuke with a purpose!"
Seeing this, Naruto beca furious and imdiately ford a Rasengan in his hand.
In an instant, the Rasengan's power shredded the vines.

A wooden defense blocked Naruto's Rasengan. As he yelled, the surrounding forest suddenly ca alive.

Sasuke's hand was already on his Kusanagi Sword. His cold expression reminded Naruto and Sakura of the first ti they saw Sasuke at Orochimaru's base.

Sasuke's cold eyes looked at Naruto, full of unfamiliarity.
"Uzumaki Naruto, Genin! Show so respect. Don't harass us—this is my wife, Senju Rei, not so mysterious woman!"

When Rei revealed her Wood Style, Sakura was left in utter despair.
She had believed that her dical ninjutsu and her status as Lady Tsunade's disciple were enough.
But now, it seed nothing could compare to a surna and a Wood Style.

At this, Sasuke looked at Naruto and spoke solemnly:
"Naruto, I hope you can use your head a bit—don't always be so self-righteous. This is my wife, Senju Rei—now and always!
If you still consider a teammate, you're welco to our wedding."
Finishing, Sasuke protectively embraced Rei and headed toward the clan compound.
