Danzo was dead. The Third Hokage hadn't even recovered from the shock before Takuya imdiately began targeting the entire Shimura clan.
This was sothing the Third Hokage couldn't accept.
Tsunade leaned back, eyes fixed on the ceiling, showing no intention of engaging.
So, you've finally reached this point?
Takuya chuckled coldly inside, but his face remained neutral as he calmly warned, "Lord Third, I suggest you go ho and get so rest. After all, the Sarutobi clan has also been involved in many of Danzo's actions. Oh, and let's not forget the other clans connected to you."
Boom!
Not only was the Shimura clan in trouble now, but even the Sarutobi clan and its allied families were being dragged into the ss.
Koharu and Homura's expressions changed drastically.
"Technically speaking, all three of you are suspects," Takuya continued, his voice casual but sharp. "Your actions and words could be seen as covering up the truth. My advice is to go ho quietly and wait for the investigation.
Otherwise, if we publicly reveal everything, it'll cause a major scandal. After all, Lord Third, you wouldn't want the villagers to find out that the peaceful Sarutobi clan still secretly has thousands of active ninjas, would you?"
Oh, how the tables have turned.
Takuya's gaze was icy. You loved playing political gas back in the day, didn't you? Well, let's see how you handle it now.
"Old man, care to explain?"
Takuya's tone was soft, but the underlying threat was unmistakable. When the truth cos out, will the villagers ever forgive you, Lord Third?
"I'll await the results of the investigation," the Third Hokage finally said, his face dark with resignation.
No rebuttal. No defense. He turned and left, dragging his heavy steps behind him.
Without the Third Hokage's support, Koharu and Homura stood there, bewildered and helpless. Their strongest ally was gone, and now they were on their own.
This is insane!
Takuya had left the Third Hokage with an impossible choice: either continue supporting Koharu and Homura or protect the Sarutobi clan's secrets. In the end, Hiruzen chose his family.
He knew that if Tsunade was determined to act, he couldn't stop her. It was better to retreat and safeguard the clan than to fight a losing battle.
"And what about you two?" Takuya asked, his expression unreadable.
The Third Hokage had left swiftly. Takuya barely suppressed a grin as he turned his attention to Koharu and Homura.
"So, what's your plan? Will you keep resisting or return ho quietly?"
"Let's go!"
Without giving Koharu a chance to speak, Homura grabbed her arm and dragged her out. He couldn't afford to let her blurt out anything reckless.
Koharu was visibly frustrated, but with no one left to back her up, she had no choice but to follow.
"Damn that old hag!" Tsunade cursed, slamming her fist onto her desk.
If she could, she'd strangle Koharu herself. Unfortunately, there were too many complications.
"You're just going to give yourself a headache," Takuya said, shaking his head. "It's not worth getting angry over people like her."
Seriously, it's not like you're going to kill her. So why waste your energy?
"The Shimura clan will be quiet for a while," Takuya added. "Just compile all the intel we have on Madara and send it to the Third Hokage. I'm sure that'll keep him busy."
If anyone understood the significance of Madara Uchiha's na, it was Hiruzen Sarutobi.
"Fine," Tsunade muttered. "And the Shimura clan? How do we handle them? Do you actually have proof they helped Danzo commit cris?"
"Proof?" Takuya rolled his eyes. "Where would I get that? I don't even know where Danzo's base is. It's all bluffing.
Whether there's evidence or not, we control the narrative. We can always 'find' so later if needed. For now, just keep them locked up. Let the Anbu interrogate them—it'll at least scare them a bit."
If I had real evidence, I wouldn't have waited this long to act. This is just using authority to suppress them.
"Oh, and one more thing," Takuya said as he turned to leave. "Since we've arrested key mbers of the Shimura clan, now's the perfect ti to conduct a full investigation.
Nobody will dare interfere. As for the other clans, let them stew for a while. They'll eventually cave, afraid we'll dig up old dirt on them.
When it cos to the Hyūga clan... we'll deal with them last."
"The Hyūga clan will be tough," Tsunade said thoughtfully. "They've always been quiet, never fighting for power, always contributing to the village."
"Exactly. That makes them the hardest to handle."
Unlike other clans, the Hyūga didn't seek power or recognition. Forcing them into submission without looking bad was a delicate task.
"But they'll give in," Takuya said confidently.
"Why's that?" Tsunade asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because their clan head is Hiashi Hyūga."
"...?"
"First, strip the Hyūga of all their positions within the village," Takuya suggested. "Then have the Anbu start making contact with the branch family. The main family will panic.
They'll have two choices: submit or risk the village supporting the branch family against them. No way the main family will allow that."
The Hyūga main family would have no choice but to comply. Even without harsh thods, there were plenty of ways to bring them to their knees.
News of the Shimura clan's arrests spread like wildfire throughout the village, causing an uproar.
The Uchiha police force worked with the Anbu, detaining key figures and leaking just enough information to stir public curiosity.
"Danzo was a traitor, and many mbers of the Shimura clan were involved in his cris. They need to be interrogated thoroughly before being released."
The village buzzed with speculation.
Inside the Shimura compound, chaos reigned. With the clan head and its core mbers arrested, they had no one left to lead them.
Fortunately, so stabilizing figures stepped up to maintain order. Their first move was to request an audience with the Third Hokage—only to be turned away.
Hiruzen refused to et them. He was too preoccupied with the mountain of intel about Madara Uchiha delivered by the Anbu.
Madara's still alive? And he's planning sothing as insane as the Infinite Tsukuyomi?
The Third Hokage was floored.
His forr student, Orochimaru, had barely survived an encounter with Madara. Controlled and almost killed—the implications were terrifying.
The strength of Madara Uchiha was beyond anything they'd prepared for.
Staring at the grim reports, Hiruzen realized that the peace of the ninja world was nothing but a fragile illusion.
Disaster could strike at any mont.
Compared to that, the internal squabbles of Konoha seed trivial.
