The Third Hokage may not settle his old scores, but Tsunade will!

And she'll make sure to do it thoroughly.

Once Tsunade secures her position and power, certain things will definitely be brought to light.

At that point, even the Third Hokage won't be able to stop it.

Koharu and Homura might be fine, they could just end up retired at ho. Though they liked causing trouble and did their fair share of dirty deeds, it wasn't enough to make them irredeemable.

But Danzo is different.

The things he has done are enough to make him wish for death without a burial ground—even the Third Hokage wouldn't be able to cover for him.

Danzo's heart sank.

"I want to see the Hokage! Everything I have done has been for the village, for its future. You have no right to place under surveillance."

Leaning on his cane, Danzo prepared to leave.

He wanted to ask the Third Hokage in person why Takuya was assigned to keep watch over him.

Danzo is really panicking now.

Takuya couldn't help but want to laugh.

At this mont, Danzo seed...

Well, a bit pathetic.

After all, his biggest backer was the Third Hokage. If even the Third abandoned him, it ant serious trouble was heading his way.

Could anyone bla him for being desperate?

"I'm sorry, but you can't leave this compound," Takuya's smile vanished, replaced by a serious expression. He snapped his fingers, signaling Pakura to guard the door.

No one leaves without his permission.

"Yagami Takuya, do you intend to stop ?" Danzo roared in anger.

"Why are you shouting?" Takuya responded impatiently, as if so dirt had suddenly gotten into his ears.

Glaring at Danzo, he slowly placed his hand on the hilt of his Kusanagi blade, drawing it just an inch.

"I said you're not leaving. Nobody leaves, nobody enters. If you think I'm bluffing, you're welco to try.

But be ready to face the consequences. Right now, killing you would be completely justified."

Go ahead, take one step out!

We'll see if you can outrun my blade.

If Danzo dared to leave, Takuya was more than ready to cut him down.

In fact, Takuya was hoping Danzo would try sothing. It would give him the perfect excuse to act.

An attempted breakout by soone under surveillance? Attempting to flee his confinent?

With that cri hanging over him, Takuya could kill Danzo without facing repercussions, and the Third Hokage wouldn't be able to complain.

The mission scroll even bore the Hokage's seal—probably placed there by Tsunade.

Killing Danzo right now would be entirely lawful.

"You..." Danzo's pupils shrank as he sensed Takuya's killing intent.

He never imagined Takuya was serious. The young man would genuinely strike him down if he dared step out.

Not capture—execute.

What makes you so brazen in provoking and targeting ?

Are they really about to fight? Pakura looked at Takuya, then at Danzo's furious expression.

This was the forr Hokage's advisor—once known as Konoha's Root.

Given Takuya's strength, it probably wouldn't be difficult for him to kill Danzo.

Pakura wasn't fully aware of Danzo's capabilities, but from Chiyo's descriptions and so intelligence reports, she figured his strength was roughly on par with Chiyo's.

He wasn't as strong as the Third Kazekage, and even the Third Kazekage was effortlessly killed by Takuya. Danzo—a man with a crippled body—didn't stand a chance.

"Hmph!"

In the end, Danzo backed down.

He wasn't about to bet his life. He knew how much Takuya despised him and those who targeted him in the past.

Now that Takuya had power and the opportunity, anyone in his shoes would have acted without hesitation.

Danzo didn't believe he was stronger than the Third Kazekage.

"I'm hungry," Danzo finally muttered.

If he couldn't gamble, he needed to find a way to get Takuya out of the way, allowing his two hidden subordinates to escape.

If those two were captured, Danzo would be in serious trouble—perhaps even exposing the secret lab.

With Tsunade gaining more power, and with the Third Hokage showing signs of abandoning him, having his underground operations discovered would spell the end for Danzo.

Even Orochimaru would face consequences.

Oh really?

Takuya was amused, then directly mocked him.

"You're hungry? Why should I care? You've got hands and feet, can't you cook for yourself?"

What?

Danzo froze, completely stunned. Takuya didn't even hesitate to curse him out.

"Oh, right, I forgot you've lost an arm. But hey, you're the mighty forr advisor of the Hokage. One arm shouldn't stop you from cooking, right?

Or is it that you're just useless—an old, incapable cripple?"

Whether it was provocation or humiliation, Takuya wasn't going to miss this opportunity.

He didn't care what others thought of him—being disrespectful to elders, or disregarding village leadership. If it made him feel better to curse out Danzo, he was going to do it.

So what if he insulted Danzo? A monitored old man who still wanted the respect he used to have?

Not a chance.

If you don't want to insult you, then don't give the opportunity.

As for etiquette, Takuya couldn't think of a single reason to respect Danzo.

Even if people said he was disrespectful, Takuya didn't care.

He just wanted to get his feelings out.

As for the rest, that could wait until Tsunade took over, sweeping these old relics into the trash where they belonged.

"Bang!"

Danzo's cane shattered again, and his face twisted in fury as he shouted,

"Yagami Takuya, do you even know what you're saying?!

This is absolutely lawless—utterly lawless!"

"Shut up!"

Takuya rolled his eyes, cutting Danzo off with a cold sneer.

"Of course I know what I'm saying. Isn't it obvious? I'm calling you an old fool. What, I can't insult you?

Then co bite . If you're not happy, co fight —I promise I won't kill you right away."

Good grief. This situation was going too far.

Pakura raised her hand to her forehead, decisively turning away, pretending not to hear anything. For now, her ears were conveniently deaf to it all.

"Co on, co on," Takuya goaded, waving his Kusanagi playfully.

"I'll give you a chance. If you can beat , I swear I'll stop insulting you. Heck, I'll treat you like an ancestor, if that's what you want.

Don't say I don't respect my elders—even the disabled ones.

If you can beat , I'll even fetch your bathwater without complaint."

Fight you? Like hell I will!

What do you take for?

Danzo was so furious he nearly choked.

Glaring daggers at Takuya, Danzo ground his teeth and stomped back into the house. In his rage, Danzo even forgot to fake his limp—his steps were even and steady.

After all, that limp had always been an act.

At that mont, Danzo was so enraged that he forgot all about it.

"Ha! You're not limping anymore?"

Takuya burst into laughter.
